John Henry Holliday
I started re-reading Modern American Poetry: A Critical Anthology (Fourth Revised Edition) edited by Louis Untermeyer which Harcourt, Brace and Company published through Quinn & Boden Company, Inc. in 1930. Although it isn't the oldest piece in my collection, but I look at this book with wonder each read-through. Some of the poets Untermeyer predicted to succeed aren't in the public mind. It's sad that such great poets are forgotten.
