Despartainian Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Mutual Defense and Optional Aggression Pact 1984 Signed Between The Atlas Confederacy and The Supreme Gentlemen The Atlas Confederacy and The Supreme Gentlemen, Desiring to strengthen the brotherly peace and sense of security between all nations within, hereby agree to come to the aid of one another in times of third Signatory aggression, as long as the articles within stand. The Signatories agree to never take offensive action against each other, as long as the articles within stand. Should either Signatory break any one of these articles, the pact is considered void. ARTICLE I Both Signatories, and their included nations, agree to immediately desist all military action against any nation protected by this pact. Both Signatories, and their included nations, agree to refrain from using military action against any other nation protected by this pact. ARTICLE II Should either Signatory, or their included nations, become embroiled in an offensive with a third party that they did not instigate, it will be the responsibility and duty for the other Signatory to come to their aid, either through military action, finances, or resources. Should any signatory fail to fulfill their duty, this pact becomes void. ARTICLE III Should any nation included in this pact begin an offensive against any other nation included in this pact, the Alliance for which the nation belongs will have a period of no greater than (48) hours cease the offensive with whatever means possible. Should aggressions not cease after the (48) hour period, the pact will become void. ARTICLE IV Should either Signatory, or their included nations, become embroiled in a conflict that they have instigated, there is no obligation for the other Signatory to become involved, by either military action, finances, or resources. They are obligated to refrain from supporting any third party that is currently involved in a conflict with the other Signatory. ARTICLE V Neither Signatory, or their included nations, shall engage in espionage against any nation protected in this pact. Should it be discovered that any nation has participated in espionage against any nation protected in this pact, the Signatory that the nation is under has a period of no greater than (48) hours to remove the nation for their alliance, or the pact shall become void. We, The Atlas Confederacy and The Supreme Gentlemen, speaking for all nation included within these alliances, hereby agree to a Mutual Defense and Optional Aggression pact, so long as these agreed articles still stand.
