Kyoto, Teramachi Street, Province of Japan, In a different dimension

For several moments, all was calm in this bustling hub of commerce that was Termachi street in the city of Kyoto.

Here was the source of anime culture in the entire Kansai region. And it was from here and Akibara in Tokyo that this phenomenon spread, engulfing the entire world.

For Mikito Taguchi, a native of Kyoto, enough was enough.

She wore a white bandana, upon which was engraved the chrysanthemum, one of two acknowledged "national flowers" of Japan.

The other... The other had fallen to the taint. The noble Cherry Blossom, that which bloomed in rows upon rows for the greatest of Japan's nobility to relish had been tainted forever. Its very name had become associated with figures within Taint mythology. The particularly jarring cult of a certain blond haired, blue eyed "ninja" (such things did not exist normally in the Japanese native bloodline and gene pool) had misled so many youth around the world to believe that that was the pinnacle of Japanese civilization!

What a Tragedy! Such devastating Humiliation!

While Mikito and her fellow Resistance members would not have minded a blonde haired, blue eyed boy featured in some foreign French film or something, the fact remained that a blonde-haired blue eyed boy was featured as the object of worship for a cult claiming to be Japanese in nature.

Culture was meant to be spread, of course. And would be molded to enrich the lives of all touched by it.

But what was cultural about images of men throwing fireballs on a screen? About random words placed out of context? About young men and women with physically impossible hairstyles swinging gigantic swords that would, in any sane universe, shatter their spines and murder their own users with their weight? How could such things be confused with the three thousand year history of the Japanese nation?

No, Mikito grit her teeth in rage. Her people, her nation, her ancestor's legacy would not be these drawings on a screen, this obsessive violation of her maiden tongue, this insistence on reducing the complexity of her people's ways to a handful of phrases!

"Brothers, now! This street shall be cleansed!"

Dozens of their members suddenly leapt amongst the crowd.

They tore down the banners advertising the latest anime, set flames to piles of manga that were corrupting the youth, and soon the streets were full of explosions as screens and megaphones broadcasting the filth were suddenly silenced by fire and plasma.

Additional explosions rocked the street as that which expressed false culture was destroyed.

As her brothers evacuated the area before the local police could appear, Mikito left a small handheld device that loudly broadcast the following song:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCwysQU94Y0

Yes, some might say that the melody of an Erhu was not Japanese, but she and her comrades had no intention of denying culture its right to spread throughout the land and merge with others, no, they were simply fighting for the existence of culture itself.

Kyoto, AYEON MALL KYOTO

Other agents infiltrated the AYEON MALL.

For there was a particular abomination of importance to destroy:

The パンティー dispenser.

Such a device took certain clothing from young women and girls and offered it as an actual commodity for sale.

What kind of depraved people would offer such things for sale? While it might be true that a second-hand clothing shop might sell used undergarments, which was rather unhygienic and horrifying to consider by itself, the existence of such devices was truly a stain on the Japanese nation.

As such, every single パンティー dispenser that existed in the megastructure suddenly exploded simultaneously, all of which illuminating the immediate area around them with a glowing ball of plasma before disappearing.

The Cultural People's Front Nihon (日本) had been given large numbers of plasma grenades by their benefactors. As such, these devices would be used to purge the land of the taint. Perhaps, perhaps the great culture of Japan could be cleansed of its shame!

Kyoto Concert Hall

What had once been the headquarters of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra was now a center to broadcast Anime theme songs and JPop Idols.

The Orchestra itself had been disbanded long ago, and some of its members were reported executed by various media organizations for "rejecting proper performance standards and genres of music."

As such, there was a performance by the famed pop idol group AKB48.

But as the girls ascended onto the stage, something seemed different.

The Director was fuming. They were not wearing the excessively short skirts and sleeveless dresses that he demanded. Instead they wore their daily clothing, each girl had her own outfit that she found most comfortable.

But they did have one item of clothing in common. They were all wearing white bandanas with a chrysanthemum engraving over their heads

Instead of singing, the girls bowed simultaneously. And the one at the front of their formation spoke:

"People of Kyoto! Certain elderly men wanted you to see our undergarments including, ideally, part of the undergarments that cover our upper feminine regions.

"But we refuse to subject you or ourselves to such disgrace!

"The people of Japan have always been a people of decorum! A people who value grace and humility. And as such we can no longer subject our great people or even this great structure to such degradation.

"Our nation has fallen under a spell of madness and mockery, and it is the duty of every Japanese to resist this blight with all our might! Do you wish to be entertained? Go read a book! Practice basic Japanese etiquette and standards of hygiene. Don't let our people become cardboard anime abominations! Fight!"

As such the lights were suddenly cut, and there was a loud explosion. By the time the Director had the lights back on, the girls had all disappeared.

In the center of what was and would have been their formation, there was a small device. It started to loudly play a song:

For this was the anthem of the Resistance, and it would play until Japan was free of its shame!

Encrypted Message along Chanel 444

"We have been watching the young Nihon branch's efforts.. While we understand your hesitation to resort to violence, a commodity you have when your enemy is not comprised of violent regimes, we feel that it has been misplaced." With these words, video finally comes through. It shows images of areas targeted by CPFNihon, a mere hour after their attacks.

The video feed shows that already, the gears of capitalism has rushed out new billboards, manga stands, and other WeebAntiCulture 'Propaganda'. "As you can see, already the areas of your efforts are recovering. While you may have made an impact to some..." The images flash to rabid anime fans, foaming at the mouth after the attacks. "However others are too far gone to hear your message." Camera pans out to show a virtual sea of mouth foaming weebs. "And their ranks are numerous."

The display ends, switching to show CPFNavenda's campaign in Iraq, before the area managed to be brought under the control of Navenda proper. "As you can see, our efforts to undermine the strategic resources of our foes brought about a swift change of regime." Images cut to Weaboo internment camps in Iraq. "While these methods are extreme they do yield timely results."

Now the feed cuts to images of Manga Artists, and Anime Studios. "These, are your targets. Take out the ones making the filth, and only then will your rivers of culture run free of its pollution." More film cuts to Anime Retail Areas. "While the thought of casualties, especially civilian might trouble you... This is the way to save your people from themselves."

Excuse me while i laugh in complete amusement at your pitiful attempts of reviving a long dead country. It's just the Meta Board and Rokkenjima now.

Meh, can't blame somebody for trying.  At least this stuff requires a lot of research.  On things like history, anthropology, and even biology, chemistry ,and physics.  Neat, huh?
