War Declaration Cooldown?

Just an idea, where when you declare war, you have to wait a few days until you can declare war once again. Just an idea to stop raiders or something like it. If anyone wants to add on to it, feel free to.

There is, or was last I was declaring wars a cooldown on declaring on the same person again (a week was it?). As for your idea I don't think the game is set up in a manner that makes it a good one.

I mean a cooldown between declaring wars on different people, to lessen the damage of raiding to, for instance, a targeted alliance.

Raiding and war is part of the game. If your alliance is struggling with raiders, thats a problem with the alliance... not the mechanics.

Declaring additional wars just makes you more vulnerable - it's a high risk/reward thing. If you think you can fight (up to 5 offensive wars) at once, you're welcome to try, but if your opponents all work together and fight back, you're going to have a bad time.

i ended up making this same suggestion without having seen this thread, as a way to make it so people actually have to carefully choose their wars

 

not from an anti-raiding aspect, but from an alliance-war aspect, it makes it harder to beat people down over time if less people can take those ever-expiring defensive slots up
