Ikhan
Today, Chernigovan researchers have officially announced the discovery of a new element, which has been labeled as "Sviatoslavite" or Sl on the periodic table, which was named after Mt. Sviatoslav, where it was discovered. The new element, which is believed to outperform Sakuradite in many ways, could possibly be used as a near limitless source of power. However, before it is to be released to the public, we must test it's stability. More to come on that at a later date. If it turns out to be stable enough, we may not need to rely on fossil fuels for power any longer. And of course, we must figure out some form of use for it outside of power, such as we need to figure out if it can be used in weaponry or not. If we are able to prove that it is safe to be near for extended periods of time, we might even send some to close allies of Chernigov. That is all for now. johnl023
The government of Yunland congratulates Cheringov; however, the Minister of Science questions whether or not Sviatoslavite is an actual element, or simply a rare mineral. (Any new discovered elements would have a very heavy nucleus given their atomic weight, making them very unstable and only capable of lasting a fraction of a second.)
