Dan77
I've been pulling the nations API into a google sheet for quite some time with no issues (https://politicsandwar.com/api/nations/). All of a sudden it stopped working for me yesterday. ErrorSyntaxError: String contains control character Is this a problem for anyone else? Any idea how I can fix it? Or has anyone got a method for pulling the data that they would like to share with me?
Administrators Alex Posted December 29, 2015 Administrators Share Posted December 29, 2015 I'm not sure what the issue is. If we can figure that out, I can probably fix it (if it's an issue on my end.) 1 Quote Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics? Ask About It | Got a good idea? Dan77
Has anything been changed because it always worked before? If not, I'm wondering if maybe a new nation has been created with a character my script doesn't like?

Yosodog
Weird. One of my scripts ran two hours ago and I didn't get any errors. I ran it through JSONLint and got this: "Error: Parse error on line 29968: ...enia", "leader": "Francisco Griffin", ----------------------^ Expecting 'STRING', 'NUMBER', 'NULL', 'TRUE', 'FALSE', '{', '[', got 'undefined'" "Francisco Griffin" has this weird space between his name. That is the problem. 1 Quote [22:37:51] <&Yosodog> Problem is, everyone is too busy deciding which top gun character they are that no decision has been made BK in a nutshell
Administrators Alex Posted December 31, 2015 Administrators Share Posted December 31, 2015 That's odd. Try it out now. 1 Quote Is there a bug? Report It | Not understanding game mechanics?
