On this note, it does get me thinking what mass poaching message actually caused the majority of people to leave an alliance? If such a message exists I would love to get my hands on it.

But nukes are supposed to be devastating. Actually I think they are too kind in this game. You have to wait 24 hours and then pay 5-7 million. Also, they can get yeeted by multiple spy attacks. So it isn't so much of an ultimatum.
