Expansion into the remaining New Mexico, Colorado, and across Utah would continue as the lands began to become secured. Though never 100% the company would have a good idea of the coming and goings at the very least to monitor traffic that may prove disadvantageous. No "Wall" would be created, but drones would ensure that the border remained safe for both sides as the company spread their influence. The Mormons were left alone to do as they wished, since the company had no laws regarding polygamy, though their numbers had dwindled for quite some time now. New Mexico's deserts would prove useful for extended testing of equipment suited for that type of environment for foreign buyers, as well as some tourism, though Baja and the Grand Canyon were still far better.

Recycling was the primary objective of the recovery process, especially when it came to the fallen space elevator that now ruined a majority of the shipping lanes in Southeast Asia. For such a task several centers were set up in the Riau Islands to serve as what amounted to a recycling center for the artificially perfect material that made up the tether into space, the station that once lay at the end did eventually get recovered and brought into proper orbit for its eventual reattachment, but was going to pretty much be a waste of resources and logistics costs for the foreseeable future. On the other hand, the sheer destruction had afforded the company the time to reconsider the design of the !Xu with new knowledge and concepts to be tested. Abyssusium was the name given to Unhexquadium, an incredibly difficult near end element, which through a series of experiments was found to be far more easily created close to the mantle of the planet, with some effort it could be produced in tangible quantities, which turned out to make an effective armor. The amounts needed to actually create the shield desired would be a herculean effort well beyond the scale of even the largest of projects upon this planet so far, but a challenge always proved an enjoyable memory.

Corporate influence with narcotics continued to spread into new Mexico añd onward into Colorado. Colorado was of strategic importance to serve as a highly defensible position for particularly interesting projects to be further discussed at a later date. New Mēxico on the other hand was a desert environment for military equipment, which with the rest gave the company access to almost everything besides tundra. New offensive options began to be explored to operate in opposing terrain of the types possessed by the company since with growing threats to peace across the planet. Chaos always seemed to be good for weapons manufacturers and it was nice to not be the one manufacturing the chaos for once. Whether such powderkegs would have any sparks was not in their control after all but it was important to be able to provide options to global customers and allow the company the option to involve themselves if deemed the most profitable option.

The !Xu was devastated by the salvos launched by the Regime, and thus plans were set into motion to redevelop destroyed regions and reinforce the concept. The incomprehensible structure had served well as an armored shell for the endless city, and with modifications would prove even more difficult to inflict meaningful damage for the next opponent. Advancements with Resoria towards counteracting Britannia's magical rock were also put into effect, ideally minimizing the effect their special nukes would have in attempting to repeat the Regime's insulting attempt to harm the company. Expansion into Namibia to establish a more expansive monument to humanity's boldness began, the locals having long gotten used to their oppressive neighbor. Recovery would take decades, but a small price to pay to remove the only nation which stood a chance.

Greater Mexico City was one of the largest concentrations of humanity on the planet, and the slums extended seemingly forever out of the city proper. Crime was a problem as per the norm for the relaxed nature of corporate governance, and it was decided instead of a traditional police force, it would serve as a excellent proving ground to educate special operators. The Xolotl began to have their fun in the new environment. Organized crime groups which did not acknowledge the rules of the corporation would find themselves under assault from the one man armies. Armor of similar level to that of a tank, it required high level explosives or anti material equipment in order to inflict meaningful damage, along with suppressed weaponry and local radar and various optical solutions built into the helmet at nearly a half million credit cost, by itself it was more than the rest of the armor combined. Of particular note was their ability to retrieve high value targets without significant risk to the operator or the asset being taken. They were also ideal for the traditional two man units favored by corporate military planning, allowing a few squads to potentially take over an entire district of a city if required.

The current Earth HQ served acceptably, it was less of a vested interest to focus on megaprojects in the short term than to ensure regional security. The corporate fleets had 3 primary targets in mind and departed from LA or the Gulf of Mexico, and headed towards Hawaii, another to Jamaica, and the Canal zone, with long term projects to be scouted in the region to either expand current locks or create alternative routes. Jamaica would serve as the easternmost port for the company and become a hub for future Caribbean operations. The swanky radar systems used on other worlds would be brought to bear here as well, extending the company's eyes in the sky. It was not expected that the neighborhood would be a threatening one but it was always better to be secure, no?

The corporation took a staggering amount of damage leading to entire swaths of the swollen city to be ruined, the Zeus weaponry unleashed upon the !Xu inflicting what it needed to. The city would take years to recover from the onslaught, but it was not as though construction was an alien concept to the company and the process would allow for an educational experience on how to recover from future attacks against the megastructure. Likewise reconstruction efforts upon the Riau Islands space elevator began with unmanned underwater collection vehicles to locate and collect the remains of the original and use them as a basis for the new one. Security increased all across the corporate holdings but it was expected to be another wonderful new year with plenty of fireworks all over the !Xu, the company could be bloodied, but not defeated quite yet anyway.

The Mogar Corporation, stylized as MoG[Corp] in this particular reality formed in Los Angeles in the late 20th century, operating as a defense conglomerate that did everything from media and household appliances to a private military corporation for the US government as gang violence in Mexico increased throughout the period. Eventually as things deteriorated as they normally do in the early 21st century and the company expanded its reach to every facet of civilization in Mexico as the country tore itself apart. Rather than solving the traditional issues that came with gangs, the corporation found it far easier to simply provide the same services legally, erasing a majority of the criminal organizations within a few months. A number of gangs still exist within the territory of MoG[Corp] but are given leeway so long as they do not interfere with corporate affairs. March 2023 served as a starting date for the corporation to interact with other state level actors among a new world that seemed to be an amalgamation of many alternative realities. This particular reality proved to be unique, in that the civilizations that made it up were just as stubborn as the company. It did afford the chance to display their preferred megaproject. The easiest explanation was nation insurance, though that failed to rationalize the wonders of science that the device actually was. Using the tear concept ratcheted up to eleven had meant that entire countries could be transported to other worlds if need be, the time period of said land flexible as everything in the universe tended to be. Since the Orbis had nearly ended itself, preparations were made to offer this incredibly expensive service to the governments of Orbis to be relocated to Terra Nova. Using Orbis as a basis, and manipulating a few regions to return back to native territory of any other earth, allowed for the new planet to serve as a continuation of the Orbis universe in a new timeline, with limitations upon military technology allowed in system to prevent any other worldending destruction once and for all. The details were still being negotiated of course but everything eternally was, right?

Preparations for far more fireworks than the regime had been prepared for a day of cleansing the planet, and today was as good as any. Planetary Shielding prevented a majority of the rods from god from reaching their destination, crackling against the protective barrier that covered the entire planet. However it was not completed in the Asian continent and would be the weakest portion of the shield. The devastation to the satellite network was unfortunate but did not completely remove the protection from orbital bombardment. The naked lady was hit by almost a missiles but the damage was manageable due to redundancies built into the design. The Riau Islands found themselves caught under a rain made up of carbon, a radius of several thousand miles surrounding would be met with similar fates, recovery could take years to recycle and repair the tens of thousands of miles worth of debris that began to fall back to planet. The only fortunate aspect was the destruction of the array and elevator freed up significant power supplies to allow for usage within Rapture, first opening a door to the Penguin View Island Resort to allow guests to get to a safe location away from the !Xu that would find its own defense systems on alert for antibombardment, laser systems mixed with kinetic weaponry to soften and then explode to turn into much smaller pieces to minimize the damage inflicted, the enhanced structures design allowing for an armor of sorts. In the space above São Tomé, The MoG[Corp] Solar Warden Fleet had been grouped together expecting aliens to be their primary focus, but usage against the planet had always been a possibility due to the massive starbase of The Regime. Warden Fleet, made of a dozen Battlestars and Minokawas began firing their lasers upon opposing satellites that were intending to destroy the two remaining elevators. Several of the new variants of Space Fighter were put out in squadrons of four, combined with a trio of squadrons of SF-14C/D Shootingstars to augment the Vipers and SF-11C Avengers launched from the fleet and launch a counter assault upon the enemy's starbase, as well as to destroy enemy kinetic weaponry. The hole left within the shield however, made certain that corporate bombardment was possible. Targeting Regime naval forces, a pair of rods would be dropped upon each capital ship, with a single one targeting everything else down to a frigate that was alongside the carriers receiving a pair. The company had produced one of the largest displays of forward projection ever seen, combined the eight carrier groups and four mobile offshore bases were capable of observing the movements of every ship going to and from Meta Board, Walpurgis, and the several colonies in Asia. Umbrella's ports would be used to ferry goods and supplies to the fleets in the long term, but for now the Pacific Containment Fleet began to trail each and every vessel in the region.

That's what I was attempting to suggest with the enclave/colony idea, enclaves would require RP to be developed into colonies and then onwards into primary territory if everyone is ok with that.

The various military movements wold not go unnoticed of course, and once military aircraft had begun taking off from Laurentia full war protocol was authorized by headquarters and the second fleet would find itself joined by the seventh fleet, with the ninth and tenth fleets leaving port and headed a few miles north. The Britannian bombers however were what sealed the deal for MoG[Corp] to become involved in the escalating conflict. The standard electronic jamming would take place to blind the Laurentian forces in Gibraltar before a salvo of 240 BGM-109D would unload from Tangiers targeting airfields in Gibraltar, with the ninth and tenth following up with their own assault of 240 tomahawks against air defenses, with 24 missiles of a new type launched from a pair of B-52Hs, based off the CHAMP design, these missiles targeted anything giving off significant radar emissions to impair enemy air defenses. A half dozen more fleets would began heading towards other primary targets. The invasion was prepared but would be delayed until the second fleet was able to locate lurking enemy vessels. Active sonar would begin to fill the Med from Gibraltar to Benghazi, PING PING PINGing the ocean to attempt to find any pesky subs that might be a threat to the company's fleets. Data chirps were sent to allies to identify any friendly vessels in the area, and those which were deemed unknown combatants would find Knighthawks whirring through the air above dropping depth charges and sonobouys to attempt to force them to surface, and if not possible maintain knowledge of where they were headed for the next wave of Knighthawks, P-8 Poseidons, or surface combatants. The company's military began flowing back across Aden into Yemen once more, preparing for yet another conflict in the desert. Similarly the 100,000 soldiers stationed in Morocco prepared to be ferried across the Med into Europe. Targeting resolutions upon Britannian airfields began and by the time their bombers landed it'd be unlikely they'd manage to do so a second time. The corporate airforce began patrolling the coastline of Zodiac, They'd not have time to stop the first strikes but they'd be prepared to defend against any further intrusions.

The order can be adjusted, and the Assassin class missile boats would likely meet similar requirements to the Réunion class escort vessels as half the cost, though less stealthy, the design is more than capable of overwhelming enemy defenses.
