  1. Setting up what's basically mine fields is detrimental for the FA landscape for reasons which should be obvious. Hence, not good FA. There's not really any reason why they couldn't have been made public other than for people wanting to have their cake and frick it too.
  2. I don't disagree. It's obviously a rather considerable commitment which people have demonstrated to be unwilling to go with. Being frank here, it's not something that I can say to be surprised having seen people dip out on. What I'm (more) surprised about is the manner in which it happened, and some (albeit not all) of the behavior associated to such way in which it happened.
  3. I mean, talking about something that's for the purported good for the game does, by design, transcend any individual alliance and even sphere. It's not a complicated dynamic.
  4. We don't need to accuse you of it because you've already admitted to, at the very least, signing off on one (with there being more to it, I'm most certain). We also don't need to accuse you (for the record, the "you" transcends HM) of paperless because they've likewise been admitted to. It's simple fact at this point. Unless if you want to argue that SRD and Left are lying, in which case, go ahead.
  5. There's nothing noble in wanting to incur disproportionate infra turnover on the foe relative to oneself. Wanting no toxicity is good but it goes out of the window when labels start to be applied.
  6. I've noticed that you've been portraying yourselves as a sort of benevolent figure over the timing of the first feelers, and terms themselves. The former is anything but. The timing coincided with the ballpark where we largely maxed out on the damage taken, chiefly on infra but also loot petering out. There's nothing kind in wanting to keep the damage dealt to a maximum and sustained to a minimum. It is purely driven by self interest. To clarify, I am not faulting the attempt at it (it's a rational motivation), but to portray it as being anything but driven by one's own interest is laughable. As for the terms themselves; yes and no. It's very much true that more stuff could have been added. It's also true that these set precedents which can very well be held against you in the future if the situation so materializes. That, combined with the desire to wrap things up as quickly as possible for the reason I mentioned in the paragraph above, are reasons which are pragmatic and responding to one's own interests, rather than some notion of benevolence. To reiterate, those are rationales which make complete sense, but that certainly have nothing to do with this whole idea of "Oh we were just being benevolent/kind".
  7. I SAW THE ORIGINAL. No it doesn't automatically strike when you use the tildes even though I wish it did.
  8. It being blanket was an insistence by your side. So that's on you either way.
  9. Your idol flat out told you that it had 0 impact in any way, shape or form. Because of course it wouldn't. A single member is hardly going to sway anything on his own AA, let alone sphere and certainly not other spheres. But I suppose that ignoring what he says because it's inconvenient with the head canon you've set up for yourself is consistent with the behavior you've displayed throughout the war.
  10. You mean the same leaders whose words you saw fit to ignore or cast doubt on when they told you that you had zero bearing on peace?
  11. You're free to let him make your internal announcements. I reckon it'll fill the void left in your hearts.
  12. Shifty's always had leaks come his way and publish them. It's nothing new. He's certainly not Sphinx as those leaks are seldom damning to him.
  13. He rerolled after being raided at one point. He sat at c1 with no infra or anything of sort for a while just to be able to run his mouth.
  14. It'd just force officers to sit on beige to be able to do that tbh. Which would be quite boring for those having to do that.
  15. The CB had more than enough evidence and corroboration pre facto to be actionable; the stuff that transpired afterwards not only reinforced that intel but also showed plenty of stuff which wasn't known to us (e.g. the paperless). Sphinx influence or lack thereof within Swamp is immaterial, given that they positioned themselves in such a manner where the only way they could aggress was our way. It's not my job to point at something that's quite obvious. Much the same way you can easily infer who the "anonymous HM leader" is.
  16. It's not our problem if none of the other Swamp AA leads cared to comment on it. I'm not concerned about that 'weakness' because, for starters, Sphinx is already on the record of having lied when put in this position before. On the run-up to NPOLT, his sphere's war plans on Chaos/KETOG were leaked. When that happened, he went on a DM spree on most govt of Chaos/KETOG saying that the plan that got leaked was no longer a thing, when in reality, the plan was very much still on, with the argument being when to hit, rather than if. He gunned for hitting at a later date once Chaos had rebuilt so to have something worthwhile to destroy, while his sphere mate argued for a closer date than that. There's also the fact that he did try to shift the focus on getting us rolled before he himself got rolled during that 10 day skirmish between them and HedgeSwamp. This, plus many other facets and what Partisan has elaborated, are why his statement isn't the law of the land that you'd like to think it is.
  17. Your 'case' is little more than an exoneration attempt for TFP/Immortals due to your inherent bias. That's made explicit by this statement in particular: Nobody singled them out, be it on our or their end (we just said that the entirety of spheres were involved whilst their coalition shifted blame to the other one). A focus was put on Tyrion and Kaz simply because they were the ones who made statements at all., rather than because of their specific AA's. Such deliberate obtuseness is one of the reasons why people simply skim if not skip what you post. It being an entire page's worth is just an aggravating factor.
  18. You're implying that I read it, which I did not.
  19. Nah, 7 ish posts is actually ridiculous. Especially since some of them are only like one paragraph and could very well just have been included in another posts. Frankly, it comes across as poor ability to structure them.
  20. Well, their in-game portfolios have yet to be updated, so...
  21. You're in an alliance which is in their sphere. They won't rock the boat and cause rift with their ally over a such a sum.
  22. "I'll dispute what's universally known as a gag order in this game so that my former AA doesn't look as bad for gagging me."
