  1. Actually it's not obvious at all, since he could have thought that, simply because it's profesionally beneficial. (this is of course before he replied to clarify on that)
  2. Do you think your opinion would be different if you weren't the owner of the game?
  3. I'm saying basing the correctness of opinions on pure value is retarded. If a foreigner has a good argument, he has a good argument. Being a foreigner doesn't make your opinion invalid. Words are words, it doesn't matter who says them.
  4. So your opinion is that your opinion doesn't matter? If so, why post it?
  5. How many pushups can you do in 6 seconds?
  6. It seems like your nation is messing up your leader name and your nation name or something. Since when i copy and paste "JP Morgan & Co" i'm able to trade with you. Edit: Yup, the game automatically puts your leader name into the trade menu instead of your nation name.
  7. Just because the game would want to cater towards players doesn't mean someone can't argue moderation on a topic that you'd need no background knowledge on the game for. Your argument for what makes an opinion matter more is simply based on what something's goal is. Which, is quite stupid. That's like saying you think electric cars are unimportant because you own a gas station.
  8. Moderation is moderation, inside a game or not, it doesn't matter. What we're talking about here, the censorship of using nazi names shouldn't be limited to those who play the game. I mean, does playing the game somehow make your opinion more valid on the topic? Who cares how the rules here compare to other games? Just because it's better than most things doesn't mean it's right. Well yeah, most anything boils down to "[insert name here] has the right to do what they want with the rules, deal with it". But then why discuss anything related to rules ever? I mean, he has the right and power to do what ever he wants, why should we say anything? Stupid argument is stupid.
  9. Better question, why does it matter if someone's playing the game or not? If you see bullshit, call it out. Doesn't matter who you are.
  10. When ever i hear the two words "serious topic", i automatically think of this: Like come on, it's a simple nation simulating game. Who cares. It's just a name. Assuming you're at least 13 years of age, as most sites require you to be, you should be able to handle it.
  11. /when you can't tell if the 1st commenter was serious or not, so then you're unable to realize of the 2nd commenter was serious or not, so then you're unable to tell if everyone's joking around or being completely moronic
  12. And have your leader name be "all booze should fry".
  13. Sometimes i feel like those who do not succeed think they're at a disadvantage because they thought that they were at a disadvantage from the begining, making them actually have a disadvantage. Placebo effect, too damn strong.
  14. Well, considering all the advancements in technology because of it, it's more as if everyone won the space race. "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" Well, i mean, no one can win anything unless the rules and goals are clearly defined. I mean, with no background knowledge, the "space race" sounds like something to do with you know, space. The soviets did all the space things. America did the moon things.
  15. Depends who you ask. The space race was a giant ego war. America thinks America is the best, the Soviets thought they were the best. And does it even matter? Either one of them wouldn't have done the things they've done without the motivation of beating their competition.
  16. A lazy and disgusting invidual that likes to make up for it by saying shit like "everyone's equal, yet SOME of us need help. (me)" Arguing against them will result in emotional tantrums, calling you racist/sexist or making a dumb face and saying "woooWWWW, you REAlly THINk that?" while smirking until they're off air. (Before people call me out for saying everyone's not equal, i completely disagree with that. Everyone should be given the same opportunities, but if you decide to be lazy and set yourself back, why should i be punished for that?)
  17. Because most people are grew up hearing that Hitler was the worst person in the world. No matter how good your arguments are, they won't even listen to them. Not saying Hitler was a good person. But there are people who did things that are arguably worse than what Hitler did. And yet, their names will be perfectly fine to use.
  18. Yes, and the fact that he managed to explain it without calling everyone stupid for either not playing the game for a certain amount of time or not being in an alliance without paper totally means nothing.
  19. http://i.imgur.com/XOYe0qf.jpg Coincidence? I think not.
