Yeah ive seen some documentaries and read some stuff on how the USSR would constantly hide activities due to failure and that there was a possibility of the USSR landing on the moon first but the Soviet government erased it for they failed to get the astronaut back. It is all speculation though.

I mean a lot of the sciences behind space travel and satellites and such were by Soviet scientists and during most of the Space Race the USSR was years ahead of the United States. Im pretty sure all of these accomplishments contributed to the further advancement of space travel.

You know Ive always been told about the United States winning the Space Race but everytime I do a lot of research into the scientific contributions of both, it always seems like the United States didnt do much and the things that they did do, the Soviets did years before. The only notable thing I can think of is the fact the United States landed on the Moon but what did that really contribute to besides morale? I think this photo sums it up

The modern dissatisfaction are rooted in capitalism and the oppression of the working class. The only reason why capitalism is implemented in the biggest economies in the world is because capitalist states are known to invade socialist revolutions that have seized power or close them off to the rest of the world until they collapse. They do not give them a chance to be free, independent and work. So when you cut them off or invade them they need to resort to seizing absolute power so they can retain their independence and keep the revolution going until there is no longer a threat. Let them breathe. But that will never happen because the existence of a successful socialist state means the power of the wealthy ruling elite is taken away and put into the hands of the working class and that threatens the existence of other capitalist states. Bring democracy to the economy!

this is a great idea. being able to tax different resources allows for much more of a diverse production of members and acquisition of needed resources. also wont hurt much members when lets say, the Alliance needs a lot of steel immediately so they put it at 50% but that could hurt income for other resources that members make. Designating specific taxes for specific resources is great.

i have no idea what you are talking about. also @ Peacity. I like those ideas too. Hiring Generals more as modifiers with certain abilities like that sounds pretty great. Also that brought to my mind, what if we just had advisers? Like hiriing Secretaries/Ministers/Scientists etc who could have modifiers to the country. Like if you hired an economist as a top adviser, they would give like 1-2% added to your income. We could have specific slots of how many advisers you have and Generals could fall into this. I think that how many slots you are given could be based on either, like infrastructure or number of cities, or even buying a specific project would grant you more adviser slots or possibly just having a specific project gives you the ability to hire advisers.

What if the Generals & Admirals we use in war could gain experience and contribute to specific factors during war? Also they could die during battle or be assassinated by spies. It could cost money to pay for them (upkeep & hiring). This has been an idea that has been in my mind for the past couple of days.

I think another option to do would be manually putting people into specific tax groups too.

Lesser-evilism is incredibly toxic and is a tool of the bourgeoisie to control elections and get pro corporatism pro imperialist in power by showing the other candidate as a crazy or idiot or ill-educated in hopes of getting the person who would farther US imperialism into power. It destroys democracies and shuts out opposition parties. It is a simple and passive tactic that kills democracy and takes power away from the people. Vote your ideas not your fears. Participate in the political party you like, whether its the Green Party, Libertarian Party, Constitutional Party, etc. Get them in local elections, get them into Congress, get them as judges, as city councilors as Governors whatever. the Presidency is not that important of a position, what matters is seizing the bureaucracy away from the pro-corporatism pro-imperialism parties of both the Democratic and Republican. They serve their corporate masters, not the will of the people. As much as I do not like the Libertarians or Constitutionals at all, at least them being in some sort of power they would be representing the people in a democratic fashion and not doing what the disgusting Dems. and Reps. do.

Im a Marxist, so I believe heavily in the liberation of the working class and abolishing the dictatorship of employers in the economy. I believe workers should own the means of production and have control over the wealth they produce. I also believe workers should produce for the good of the people and the country instead of for greedy material reasons. I am a firm believer of intersectionality and I think its a good tool to observe class and racial and gender divisions in hopes to bring them together. Im a firm believer in homosexual rights and transgender rights and I am for polyamorous relationships too. Im staunchly anti imperialist too, so I dont really like the USA, Russia, China, France, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Iran, India, and/or other countries who try to impose themselves on other nations. I support Palestine and I support Kurdistan a lot. I believe racism and sexism is alive and well in society and it is most needed to be challenged in nations of Africa, ME, and Asia, for various governments of various ideologies really put down other ethnicities and sexualities and women and its just plain out horrible. Doesnt mean it doesnt exist in Western societies, though. I am all for gun control (what marxist isnt??). keep the working class armed. I am all for a green energy plan, oil is horrendous. the US is like 1/3 desert what is stopping us from getting all our electricity from there? I believe firmly in indigenous rights and freedoms and there should definitely be a long, careful, thoughtful, and efficient process of aiding indigenous people and bringing their populations back and slowly giving them their land back. Im all for abortions too, womens rights. It is their body, their choice. im not sure what else to put, i already feel like I have sad a lot LOL
