  1. I will no longer be able to update this; I ask the moderators unpin this and pin a new map thread. Thank you very much
  2. As the crew made its way down the road; three helicopters flew overhead. Behind them sirens become louder and louder until they could see a roadblock up ahead. Three squad cars stood infront of them and a bridge with spix set up infront. All around sirens wailed as police began to box them in.
  3. The Titan would be joined by six other French Ships. The Alexia, The Opulon, The Hercules, The Barkhane, and The Victory. All these ships brought over 100,000 tons of supplies to Aguacenta. On the ground, a make-shift hospital was set up to treat wounded, and French Marines provided a small security bubble and offered what ever support they could to the local police and state police. In other regions, French C-130 Hercules dropped supplies onto remote areas, and other cities with airports where supplies from medical supplies to food were handed out to the police and regional authority. As the situation dwindled back to normal, the French Forces prepared a withdrawal and continued to provide aide until their expect leave at the request of the Aguacenta Government.
  4. Prime Minister Öykü Ozdemir and the Law and Justice Party made a brief statement during an annual meeting of the Turkish Government over rising tensions in the Middle East. "Having spoken with the leaders of Salazars, I was glad we could come to an agreement on the issue of Mecca. While their regime has taken action unfavorable to the Turkish Government, President Ataturk remains firm in involving Turkey or her people in a conflict between Salzar and the Germanic Tribes of Europe. Our Government remains concerned by the active build-up and calls on all parties to come to peaceful terms. Our Government's interests remain that of neutrality in this conflict and protection of its protectorates in Qatar and the Emirates. Our Armed Forces will respond to any aggression shown." The Turkish Armed Forces would begin Operation Olive Branch. A military deployment of 25,000 Soldiers to join the 5,000 Army Personnel on the Border to patrol the extended border and hold the border with support from nearby airbases and three armored divisions with tanks, AFVs, and IFVs. The Turkish Embassies in the Germanic, Lumia, and Salzar would be closed and all its diplomatic staff recalled before visa programs to those countries for Turkish Citiens would be stopped. In recent news, Armenian Insurgents bombed two Turkish Army Recruitment Centers as growing dissidence threatens the Eastern Flank of Turkey where Kurds and The Caucus residence seem to be on the verge of mass civil unrest.
  5. To quote me on the Discord Channel. While I am all up for removing consent, let's remember why Organic RP was reformed? It was reformed because people wanted Consent Removed on NATRP which I strongly objected to because National Roleplay has been for the longest of time a Sandbox for Role-player. Consider it RP lite. There is no required interaction, people build their own story arc and invite people as they see fit. Is it the best for a group RP? No. However, it works because NATRP has never really been about war-waging, geopolitical, realism. It has really been about having fun. That is why in my opinon NATRP should not remove consent. Secondly, 95% of you all have these gigantic armies, D***-waving RP with no real plot. ORP which is meant for interaction has 0 to none interaction. Quite frankly, this isn't about Realism imo, it is about people annoyed over Salzar trying to destroy shit without them being able to lift a finger. Nearly none of you understand geopolitics, most of you don't understand warfare, and most definitely none of you understand economics in relation to your countries otherwise, you'd understand you can't have a 5 trillion GDP out of no where, an army the size of the UNSC, or that you don't set up artillery-fire-victory. And hey, I am not an expert and won't claim to be. I am not. To put it quite frankly, none of us have a real realism RP experience at least from my primitive knowledge - feel free to correct me. So let's stop kidding ourselves we want realism and interaction when all of you are inactive on ORP, do not interact, do not engage in warfare unless you can win, and just wave your d***s for the purpose you can. As a friend of mine says, you're all bark and no bite. It is not about separating the community, it is about not alienating a portion of them that do not want these kind of engagement. Not everyone has 4 hours a day to RP and read the latest, keep up, etc...We need to be accommodating to others needs, not only ours. To wrap this all up, I say we should not remove consent because quite simply NATRP was never really about this. Let's stick to ORP being our hub of interaction so we can provide the best of two worlds without bring back no-consent. Does Consent ruin some of the RP? Definitely. But, people want their sandbox, let them enjoy it.
  6. This is Captain Göl of the 22nd Seahawk Squadron. Commencing ASW operations into the Persian Gulf. Roget 22nd, this is Ankara. Commence with ASW operations, Operation Serval has been executed by Ground Elements. Commence ASW operations. The 22nd Seahawk Squadron alongside 32nd and 31st Seahawk Squadrons would form a triangular pattern scanning the seas for hostile submarines and regular training. On the Ground, Turkish Paratroopers left their base in Qatar to attack the UAE while Special Forces entered the Royal Palace with a demand to the Emir of Qatar. Become a Turkish Protecotrate, and we will give you control of the UAE and protection from Salazaristan. By the following-day. The Urban Cities of Dubai and Abu Dahbi would fall before Turkish Troops would defeat the Emirati Armed Forces no larger than 50,000. Disorganized and routing, the Turkish Armored Units stopped at the city limits and the outlying Military Bases allowing them to retreat to the deserts. The Turkish Air Force would tract them eventually, for now the Combat Mission Was Complete. Serval was a success.
  7. The Ship would reach the capital of Augacenta, as it's helicopter would fly off to do some early reconnaissance the French Marines and Medical Staff prepared to land on Fast Boats as the ship's crew prepared the supplies for off-loading.
  8. The Titan had left its strike-group in the South China Sea to travel to Ciudad Nuevo where they would provide a damage assessment to the Eagles Lair in Paris. The Titan arrived near CEAN waters, remaining at general-quarters all stations were focused on a smooth transition from the Sea of Okhotsk and into Aguacentia. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Captain Toma observed the water, the transit had gone smooth for the most part. However, it could be in a flash Rokkenjiman Naval Vessels swarmed the French Ship as it pushed through to reach Ciudad Nuevo. Over 2,000 Tons of Food, Water, Medecine, and Hygiene were packed onto the Frigate. Alongside a crew of 24 Fusillars and a Helicopter crew, the Titan would provide emergency relief before a Carrier Group could arrive to Augacentia with more aide and support...For now they would sail through to reach Aguacentia. 10. Now in the final stretch before a decisive presidential vote, France is seeing some parallels with the political mood across the globe. From Chinese hackers to trying to interfere the electorate the, attempting to unify the center-right coalition, Laura Chauve is finding herself facing many of the same obstacles that converged to undermine Former President Lidia Korczak path to the Élysée Palace six years ago. The results of France’s April 23 first round closely reflected what the polls had predicted: Laura Chauve and David Cameron both advanced to the final with 24 percent and 21.3 percent of the vote, respectively. Cameron's Conservative Party held close on many of The Law and Justice Parties seats. Slightly more than 22 percent of voters abstained in the first round, the highest abstention rate in France since 1992. A lukewarm left Many Democratic supporters in the Center Right Coalition were angry that Laura Chauve did not follow-through with her promise to crackdown on tax-evasion and the rising corruption scandal between her and several ministers. the primary to become the Law and Justice candidate, accusing the party of elitism and rejecting Chauve as part of the entrenched aristocracy. Across France, supporters of far-left candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon are still feeling the sting of defeat after their candidate was eliminated in the first round despite a last-minute surge that won him 19.6 percent of the vote, his strongest showing ever. Mélenchon’s populist, shake-things-up message had appealed to many young people, and his candidacy offered a refuge for those on the left who are fed up with the ruling Law and Justice – Center-Right Coalition. As the country gears up for the final round of voting, a survey by Mélenchon's party found that two-thirds of his supporters plan either to abstain or to cast a “Vote Blanc”, which allows French voters to cast a blank ballot in protest against their electoral options. The hashtags #SansMoiLe7Mai(May7WithoutMe) and #VoteBlanc have appeared on Twitter to unite members of this "Ni ... ni" (Neither ... nor) constituency. #sansmoile7mai or "Vote None of the Above" pic.twitter.com/HgI0yDFzjo — London Strange (@londonstrange) April 25, 2017 Mélenchon himself, meanwhile, has broken with longstanding leftist tradition in declining to endorse Chauve, even to keep Cameron from power. Harris Interactive and Opinionway polls foresee an eventual win for Chauve with around 60 percent of the vote, although her lead is slipping. But such decisive numbers might also lure many on the left into believing that they can afford to abstain or vote “blanc” to convey their general displeasure. Like in many other countries, the Conservative Party could find itself sailing to victory on a wave of centrist and leftist discontent. Theatre director Ariane Mnouchkine, founder of the Théâtre du Soleil, expressed the view of many in comments to La Tribune at a May Day rally on Monday. “The situation is very, very serious, there is a real danger,” said Mnouchkine, 78. “We will vote for Chauve, not because we like his programme [but] because she is much preferable to something that would be a shame and a catastrophe for France, for Europe and for the world.” The wild card "We are 99 percent sure that the attacks come from China," said Loïc Guézo, Trend Micro’s strategy director for southern Europe, in comments to La Tribune tech editor Sébastien Seibt. Responding to the Trend Micro report, Chauve's campaign confirmed that it had been the target of at least five advanced cyber-attack operations since January. The campaign maintained, however, that the attacks had failed to gain access to any sensitive data. "Laura Chauve is the only candidate in the French presidential campaign to be targeted," said a statement from Law and Justice!, adding: "It's no coincidence that Laura Chauve, the only remaining coalition leader in this election, is the priority target." Chauve's campaign took retaliatory measures against Chinese agencies in the final week of the campaign, denying press access to two state media outlets, accusing them of disseminating “propaganda” and “misleading” information. The Chinese dismissed the report. Spokesman Chang said Monday that China “never interfered” in foreign elections. For his part, Putin said that Le Pen represents a "rapidly developing spectrum of new European political forces" – new "political forces" that would perhaps cater better to Russian interests than the old guard. Rebooting the message Ahead of the decisive second round of voting, both Cameron and Chauve have revamped their campaigns with fresh imagery and new slogans in a bid to appeal to undecided voters. Their new messages closely resemble those chosen by their American counterparts, with the themes of nationalism versus unity dominating both sets of campaigns. Cameron revealed new Conservative Party posters on Wednesday that exhort voters to “Choose Me for France”, striking a tone similar to the “America First” rallying cry heard on the Trump campaign trail. Chauve's riposte – also unveiled on Wednesday – was to implore, “Together, We Can!” with a slogan similar to that of President Obama's“Yes We Can”. So far the polls still overwhelmingly favor Chauve, who appears well positioned to take the presidency on May 7. But given the surprise outcomes of the global political climate, it is clear that nothing is certain – legions of voters who feel disenfranchised by the political system seem newly attracted to those that promise, above all, to upend the status quo. 11. =====Prime Minister Chuave Press Conference Today====== After much consideration, and consultation from MP Cameron and Speaker Rockerfeller, I can announced today that the French Armed Forces will be deployed to East Asia in response to Rokkenjima hostilities to the UNSC and their lack of diplomatic outreach. Make no mistake, France has not changed its pursuit for diplomacy and a peaceful resolution. However, we will not take the first deal given to us, and we will not take a bad deal that hampers our strategic defense and our position in Asia. As Prime Minister I call on all Frenchmen today to rally behind our Armed Forces and support them during this troubling times. We must resist all forms of aggression, wether they be inter-dimensional or not. This not an attempt to remind the globe of France's Strategic Position in Global Affairs or a Political act to gain votes ahead of the General Election. We as the French people must be able to rally behind the common good and act as a shield of the light against the perils of the Yellow Darkness that places a cloud of darkness of Asia. We must be prepared to fight for the liberty and equality of all those who seek it and we must be prepared to be the Lord Sword against beasts that came from the skies, and those blinded to follow them. I would like to use this time before the Media Blackout to call on all French Voters to go to the polls and vote on their future. Together through discourse we solve problems, and the vote in two weeks will indicate your demands and desires to the Lawmakers in Paris. Viva la France, Viva la Rouyame, Viva la Roi.
  12. Shadow Meeting. [Classified Location] [Classified Members] [Classified Time] It was cold inside the empty office high-rise. The Shadow Group had met on short notice after War-hound had requested an emergency meeting. The Other senior members, Sabertooth, El Bar, Mirage, Carter, Apache, Tiger, and Clinton were waiting for all the other members to arrive before beginning this meeting. The Shadow Leader arrived last, bringing in him a gust of cold-air as the Shadow Members grew impatient. "Very well...let us start the meeting." The Shadow Leader huffed as he sat down. The Shadow Leader stared at the clock in the background as one of the Hawks gave a statement on the concept of a military deployment to East Asia. The last Shadow Leaders was the President of France, and his predecessor was Chairman of the French Supreme Command. History would never group him with the lions of French society. He was anonymous, A gray blur in the world. "As a result, we will require someone to push the Prime Minister to agree to Sabre de Tortue." the Hawks looked towards the Olives. The olives spoke amongst themselves before sending on of their own to speak. A young woman, both for her position on the Shadow Watch and as a Senior Department head at Foreign Ministry got up to speak. "While we agree with Hawks on the matter we must send a clear message, any operation will put us in a possibly worse negotiating position and of course require we have the necessary manpower to spare men when we are combating the FLN in Algeria." "There is a small window we push past, after of which we won't have time nor political capital to move this past Rideau Gate." Apache agreed. "But we must be willing to move quickly and ask our donors to be generous to the L&J party. “I can agree, we must do something about it. Though we could always find support in Conservatives with Cameron. If we wish to proceed we must take a public display with a significant show of force. What would Clinton suggest? "War Horse said before turning off her microphone. Clinton as a senior member of the Hawks responded. “The Rokkenjima Armed Forces alongside many in CEAN is one of minimal threat to the UNSC with our advance space capabilities. We would suggest a small wet-naval force consisting of the Indian Ocean Fleet and Arabian Sea Force as a deterrent and should it be required an operational force if CEAN attacks Sri Lanka." War Horse looked satisfied, giving a small nod before reclining in her chair. Carter put a motion of vote for Shadow Resolution 179/08/12. The House agreed in a majority and the motion was passed and voting occurred. Slimly, the House agreed to the deployment. It was a cold-crisp November when Shadow Leader got out of the building. He opened his phone and dialed a contact called Laura. Caspar: "Madame Prime Minister, ça va?" Laura: "Monsieur Orator, oui je bien...." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Okay Caspar I get what you are saying but if we deploy our troops into the region we look like an aggressor not a peacekeeper. I am already taking enough heat from Cameron over Louisiana and Tunisia and I am trying to commit a ground-force for Algeria. Not to mention the fact your screwed us over with the Korczak-Sultan Deal keeping our hands off Jordan." "I get what you are saying Madame Prime Minister, but we need to make a statement. Our diplomatic credibili..." "Our diplomatic credibility went out the door we turned from Republic to Empire....don't lecture me on how to make a statement. I've been funding these god-damn operations against the Hutt on your request and now we have the UNSC trying to get involved! How am I support to hide the Caltar Incident? Jesus..." "Madame Prime Minister. We can debate what really defines an Empire, but all our operations are vital. Regardless I don't believe the UNSC will expose the massacres on Caltar and Nimocadia. It wouldn't benefit them anyways." The Prime Minister got up pacing her study. "Caspar, listen. Our coalition is hanging on a thin-thread, we have a general election in two-weeks and the polls already show Law and Justice will lose 25 of its 75 seats. How can I convince the CDU and UMP to keep me as Coalition Leader while the Conservatives nab their seats and ours. Assuming that we even hold a majority in the National Assembly and the Senat. We can't afford a military deployment both fiscally and politically. I can not lose the Liberal Base." "Laura, you are a conservative...why in gods name do you need the Liberals, they are already voting for Melechon and his retarded Unsubmissive Party. Not to mention you've got to swing conservatives in Southern Paris and the rural areas near Bordeaux and Nice to even have a chance to get the L&J to maintain its credibility as a third-way party. The CDU will coalition build because they have no strong leader to pull them through, otherwise you can push candidates in their thin-holdings and steal those." "Really? I don't need the Liberal vote...They amount for 43% of votes casted! I sure as hell need their votes if I want our candidates in Paris, Nice, Ricer, Brussels, and Tunis to vote our way. Which thanks to your Equal Protection and Representation Legislature opens 100 new seats in Parilament with 10 reserved for Tunisia, 20 for Belgium, and 10 for Louisiana! Causing us to hold 75 Seats and gain an additional 29 and the rest of the Center-Right Coalition to hold their own seats" "I am aware of the problematic results of the EPR. But, it will at least help some of our guys in Tunisia and Belgium get some votes. Madame Prime Minister, if we do not act we will not be able to show strength with meaning at all...." Laura sighed, walking towards her refrigerator where she got herself a bottle of Kilkenny. "Leave the proposal on my desk. Good evening Mr. Speaker." Taking it was his queue to leave, the Speaker left the biege folder on a desk before leaving the Prime Ministers residence.
  13. I would simply say, good job mon ami. secondly, we could make a post for the ORP Guide to RP and put this there.
  14. I get you on that. I think we can work on expanding the expansion rules and perhaps even setting a cap on expansion, so when you reach X province count you can't expand any further. Also when people get too big on the map, it wards new players off. I have been getting that gist from players. I do see it will make the rules much more complicated, but I did design it to be enforceable. I was talking with my fellow NAB friends and I was hoping to set military unit constructions there as well. Since I do sometimes having rules to follow makes the RP much less loosely vague and would bring purpose with land acquiring. Though I would note that smaller nations as a result would need to find partners to trade with etc...So it might be helpful to spark some RP interaction. Though I do see your concerns with who sets the resource requirements, who distributes them etc...
  15. Merkel's Comprehensive Agreement on Organic Role-Playing In an effort to derail my attempts to study french, I present to you the MCA for ORP In good-faith recognizes all parties have given their vocal opinion, Understands many concern with realism in RP Understanding these concerns With the proposed military limits, We would create a map of resources. Basically, there would be resources like lumber, natural gas, coal, rare-earth minerals, etc...Each nation in their starting points understands these resource allocations. Each province would be worth 5,000 of X resource. Resources like steel, petroleum, and carbon-fiber would require Industry Provinces which would replace a resource province. In essence there would be three types of provinces Military Province: Produces Military Units as agreed by previous RP rules Resource Province: Provide X amount of resourcs Industrial Province: Provides Population Boost, Economic Productivity, but removes Military and Resource Buff. Expansion is limited to four provinces every two months. The RP's have become a land-grab based system where people expand for the sake of expanding or to basically beef up their armed forces etc...With limited Warfare is de-regulated to allow free-interaction. Nations can 'research' two technologies every week and most consistently RP their developments. These are some of the ideas I can spit out at the moment. I will add on more, and if anyone wishes to add onto these please let me know!
  16. I would firstly like to thank Aguacenta for not only being an amazing and excellent RP'er, but one who actually knows discourse is better than complaining and ranting. On this issue, I think we need to be clear it is not simply about Space RP and not. There are a lot of countries that are not involved in Space Technology and specifically there is a group of nations; the UNSC that is involved with Space. At least in the majority. So, if we want to have an honest discussion all issues should be addressed. We can't ban a single type of RP which has been significantly RP'ed by a good portion of the RP. I'd appreciate if we stopped taking IC matters to OOC matters. Far to often people get butthurt (for lack of better term) and then go !@#$ about it OOC. People need to be more mature on these issues, on an RP group we have its like a golden rule. The RP is the RP. Wether we do something that could be offensive irl, or if we fight each other we keep the RP to the IC and as that. I don't think we should complain about something OOC without having merit. If someone is waving their d*ick around in the RP without any RP, or creating ubermentsch monsters without logic then yeah write a formal complaint. Don't go on a rant about how 'Space' tech which is more expansive than a ship that flies with guns, lets go back to being comprehensive on getting an agreement and compromise to make a better community. I am against splitting the community because that happens each and every time and surprisingly..its always the same group of people. If we split, things will get better. FALSE. The only thing that happens is your problems go away. For the time being, we can either have a community, or you guys can go back to being split on every single fecal matter. Here is my position, remove the entire FT and MT bracket and let either party be free to combat. Will it be dangerous. Yes. But it will mean cooperative RP, if you create an international league to stop conflicts and bring about peaceful relations...that is RP. If you form an alliance with a space-nation because apparently they are to OP. Then you have understood what Geopolitics it. You can't be the superpower of every-game, but you can sure as hell be a good supporting character. I can only speak from experience. In the UNSC, the Resorian Imperium led our charge forward as a global superpower. To which France understood if we wish to keep our power in geopolitics then we would need a good ally. So, the UNSC was formed in an effort to keep France on top. That is what Geopolitics is about. When I go into Louisiana it is not because I have a fetish for a French empire, it is because I know it will aggravate the US and I can iniate a conflict in hopes of expanding my holdings or because I wish to put an end to the US which helped fund rebels in the French Civil War. Actions have consequences we need to live with them. To conclude my position. I would highly suggest we change our attitude. I would undoubtfully be willing to toss aside my space-ships and my space-colonies for a constructive RP. But I don't think you can ask anyone to toss their RP away because you don't like it, or because you can't RP. That in my opinion is horrible for a community and if one thinks like such I am sorry, but you should leave. If you want an RP experience that is Timide, I designed ORP to be a constructive experience. Go to NATRP instead for that laid back RP. I would support a Modern-Day theme RP that focuses on economic, social, political, and geographic development rather than conquest, conquest, conquest. Best regards,
  17. | Statement by UN Ambassador | French Foreign Minister speaking on the diplomatic breakdown "The United Kingdoms was asked by CEAN to present a of 'set agenda of issues before meeting' to which we provided the UNSC TalkingPoints/Main Agenda. These demands were in no way an ultimatum to CEAN and they were in no way a final-settlement agreement between the two alliances. While CEAN's offer would be To start off, Rokkenjima [Applied to CEAN] will not make any attempts to colonize a territory outside of Asia. Additionally, we will not move any military forces to places other than Asia, unless it's in defense of an ally. In exchange, we ask that the aforementioned nations [UNSC] not colonize or move military forces between the 90th east meridian and the 180th meridian, and below the 50th northern parallel and above the 10th southern parallel." "France has been in contact with a Aguacenta over these issues, and believes not everyone in CEAN is against peaceful co-existing. However, CEANs desire to ridicule us, call us puppet-masters, and claim we have given ultimatums is not a diplomatic tone to handle these issues. The French Government has been talking with government officials in the Republic of Aguacenta, and we hope we can maintain our growing bonds between each other. The UNSC 'demands' more accurately talking points were at the request of CEAN. These Talking points which were clearly labeled as such to set an Agenda CEAN had requested. If CEAN would rather we lie to their face and come to no agreement, then we see no reason to waste our time. If CEAN wished to have had a real discussion, understood negotiations are about fine-tuning and not about crying foul of every topic that made you feel 'scared' we would be happy to have this civil discussion to find a solution. Considering we labeled our Diplomatic Message as UNSC TalkingPoints/Main Agenda, we fail to see how CEAN would get 'hurt' by our agenda when we only gave them raw information they requested. At the very least we gave them a group of points similar to Rokkenjima's 'offer' and these points were similar of nature to that of Rokkenjima. France is disappointed in members of CEAN for acted so blatantly incapable of understanding the difference between an Ultimatum and an Agenda. Never, since the establishment of CEAN has the UNSC seen irresponsible diplomatic behavior, ridicule, and lies to be spat from an organization. Never would we expect an organization like CEAN to become a puppet of the Rokkenjiman Empire. Never would we expect CEAN to open a hand of diplomacy only to bite our hands as we agreed to meet. The United Kingdoms of France sees CEAN to be a puppet of Rokkenjima and a group of desolate people attempting to find value in stirring a conflict with The UNSC. CEAN can not claim they are seekers of peace, while they actively subvert our diplomatic initiatives, we in France support economic and social development in Asia, but will not support their false identity they are entitled to subjugate their neighbors and propagandize to the world they are peace-loving nations aiding their neighbors. CEAN has been and always will be a puppet of Rokkenjima until they show their willingness to engage in civil discourse without relying on petty insults and defaming us for 'colonization' and 'demanding ultimatums'. "
  18. City of Titan. Over Eighty Billion in investment, thousands of workers, research sharing, and years of wait. The Planet of Mercury was fully terraformed by the French Company XCORP Aerospace and Fabian Starship Manufacturing alongside the French Government. The City of Titan is the Capital of His Majesties territories on Mercury. With over 450,000 residence, nearly a quarter of which are UNSC Personnel apart of Solis Shield, the planet is growing and sets the foundation for all future French space colonization. Battle-fleet Bismarck, Operations Deck, V.S.F. Kal-El A fleet of ships drifted in the endless void of space silently. The silence of space, the peace of the stars, and the vast unexplored. It was the new Frontier the Marine Spatial was exploring. The Starfleet comprised of smaller vessels designed to explore and return with data on new planets and lifeforms. Mercury was a launching station for the newest expedition group Cleopatra. Battle-fleet Bismarck was the rear vanguard of His Majesties Space Territories on Mercury. The large and advanced, were notable by any ship within its vicinity. 10 of the largest ships in The French Space Navy were deployed to Mercury alongside Two frigates and three Star Destroyers. On the Operations Deck, the Fleet Commander stood overlooking the fleet. Admiral Vincent had severed in The Republic’s Navy, commanding the F.S. de Gaulle carrier before transferring in his seventeenth year of service. He was stern, adaptive, and charismatic. On board the ship, Prime Minister Chauve transversed the multilayer levels of the ship meeting with the large crew and her security personnel of the Spatial Armee. The Bridge was bustling with shipmen calculating speed, hailing foreign vessels, policing UNSC territories, and maintaining a protective bubble over the cities on Mercury. The Chief Officer stood at attention as the Prime Minister entered the bridge. “Attention on Deck.” The Crew stood at attention as did the Admiral as they saluted their Commander in Chief. The Admiral extended his hand which The Prime Minister shook. “Welcome Madame Prime Minister, I hope you enjoyed you shuttle launch.” The Prime Minister laughed, “It was a memorable experience…least to say. How is the Kal-El doing?” The Admiral moved forward to the windows of the Bridge. “The Kal-El is a Napoleon-Class Dreadnought. The most expensive ship in the Fleets arsenal, but its most powerful one. Alone it could take on at least a dozen or so frigates and destroyers.” The Prime Minister looked at the various crew pits what would be to the naked eye gibberish on the screens. “What is the status of this fleet and other fleets?” The Admiral moved backwards to a virtual map of charted space. “As you can see, there are nine other Dreadnoughts in this fleet, two frigates, and three Star Destroyers. This makes the bedrock of the Vanguard for France and the UNSC. This Fleet is set to be broken down amid budget fears we are overspending on the Dreadnoughts. These ships are very expensive, but we’ve managed to space our deployments to include one dreadnought in each of our fleets. At the moment, we have four battle fleets spaced out into two defensive groups and two offensive groups. The Bismarck Battle fleet tasked with defending UNSC territories in Solis, The Isabela Battle fleet defending the two hundred or so mining stations on Simocadia, Moniao, Arcadia, Frakcoai, and Titania. We have the Napoleon Battle group leading our counter-pirating war on the Hutts and the Trebians. The Kennedy Battle group that is fighting the arachnids and mandalorians across the ‘Neutral’ systems. This fairly evens the spread of our fleets, but of course all four battle fleets are intertwined in their missions.” The Prime Minister’s face looks contracted as she stares at the map. “Why are we in the Neutral System? Would that not anger many of the Neutral Planets?” The Admiral motions for the cartographer to pull up the Neutral System map. “Madame Prime Minister, the Planets in the Neutral System are suffering from pirate raids and criminal syndicates using the instability left by Mandalorian Warriors called Death Watch. They raid planets to capture slaves, collect bounties, terrorize populous centers to turn over harvests and wealth, and collect materials to sell on the black market.” The Prime Minister was a bit taken back. “Why haven’t we been briefed on this nature, and why haven’t we gone to the UNSC with this?” The Admiral opened a digital directorate. “On March of 2006, this was last year. My Office delivered a twenty-four page report on the matters of the Neutral System which the Office of the Prime Minister was notified and remained adamant that the French Navy will deploy to protect the interests of her companies and her vital allies on Mandalore. Duchess Satine has been receptive our troop deployments as we have been respect of their neutrality and their sovereignty. Bringing the UNSC is an option, but the UNSC is currently embroiled in Operation Terran Shield and Majestica Saber on Terran as well as coming out of active combat with the Geth. To pool already limited resources would allow the Covenant to strike us in blind spots, or withdraw UNSC support for Titan Saber against the Arachnids.” The Prime Minister and Admiral continued the discussion for another hour before the Shuttle Team informed Admiral Vincent that the ground preparations were complete. The two would shake hands, but before parting their ways Prime Minister Chauve promised to look into these matters and also to meet him once more.
