Since I couldn't pick two, I picked PN since that is where I heard here. However though, I was lead to PN from (That terrible game that is totally irrelevant and I shouldn't be bringing it up anyways). Sure they do.....this way you don't have to login and register on a bunch of differnet forums......sort of like one stop shopping that way we as a community can have an area with no fuss and no muss!

Being a retired 20 year active duty U.S. Navy guy myself, this seems like a lot of "saber-rattling" on Russias part. With the riots in Kiev and the ousting of the Russian friendly leader and the fact that Obama stepped up and said....."hey, you Russians better not get involved or else....", and Putin not wanting to look weak infront of his own people, he acted. Also, that water-way north of the black sea is now completely controled by Russia....which to me is a bigger issue. The area the Russians invaded may occupied by Russian speaking folks who are fairly loyal to Russia, however, the physical land itself belongs to the Ukraine.....so this will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Me personally, I think the residents of that area need to make a choice.....formally announce their loyalty and remain Ukrainian, or announce their loyalty to Russia and move back there.....either way, the land is Ukrainian and the west should get involved to help get that land back....it is an invasion of a soviergn country....just the same as Kuwait back in tne early '90's. Hell if the west helps out, we could concivably build a coilition base in that area consisting of ground and navy units. Just my thoughts on the issue.

Well then....if that's the case, then it's probably been this way since the beginning of man-kind and if thats the case, those folks writing the religous texts were obviously not in the know back then and were more than likely writing on what they thought should be right and wrong. Not to put down any religion or any faith base, as I consider myself a christian (non-denomiational), but to follow a set of guidelines and rules from hundreds if not thousands of years ago.....blindly....without somewhat of a questioning attitude, to me, is somewhat silly. If we, as a society as a whole, followed the letter of the law of all these old religous text, we'd still be living in the bronze age, putting people to death for adultry, outcasting women for having children out of wedlock, stoneing people to death, etc. At what point does faith in an unseen idea, balance out with science and reason?

Who is to say if that lifestyle choice is or isn't voluntary? I believe that yes, some are born the way they are and are predispostioned to be attracted to the same sex. I also believe that at some point later in life, people who were not predispostioned at birth do make choice on the lifestyle they want to follow....say after a spouse dies or an ugly divorce or just about anything. Could this second group have been gay along and just decided to go along with the norm for society.....possibly. I don't think anyone really knows. I guess the only real scientific way to find out would be to study the dna and brain patterns of straight and gay folks to see if there is any differences.....until that happens....I'm of the mind that both are probably true.

So, you are alright with raising an animal for the whole purpose of being slaughtered for human consumption.....ie the betterment of human lives......but NOT for experimentation which also is for.......wait for it.....the betterment of human lives. Interesting indeed.
