I was referring to us having been linked to upn in the first place. We were at risk of attack and came under their protection out of desperation. I originally come from guardian, I feel like I've been on the wrong side of this war the whole time.

As much as I truly regret to say this..... This is not a surrender. We will not abandon our allies, even if our pact with them is coming to a close, it has not yet closed and vargen will not be known as cowards. We know its a lost cause, but it is a matter of honor.

Vargen institutions hereby withdraws from the MDP protectorate bloc. As per contractual agreements, we will continue to be allied with odd squad and socialist workers front until the cancelation period is over in which all relations will end. As for the remaining members of the bloc we will fight alongside them the best of our ability, until the war comes to a close. As for upn, after multiple times of promising aid which never came (not that we weren't growing well enough without it,) and the clear misdirection in which we were told upn was preparing to defend an attack when they were in fact planning on attacking three of the most connected alliances in the game, who I happen to like, and finally the fact that having them for protectors has clearly done us a lot of good, vargen institution hereby cuts all ties with upn.

Well that's uncalled for seeing as the protectorates were not involved and misled on the entire situation, at least in our case, but can't say it wasn't to be expected. Truthfully, I expected aargh.

You were raiding everyone, not just upn protectorates. So our MDP with evenstar was never activated...alliances deal with raiders all the time, so we left evenstar to conduct themselves. It was when you started taking prisoners of war that you caught our attention, so I went to odd squad who was presumably going to declare on you, but was directed to swf, where I asked if we could have puella and eagleland...not only Cuz of our MDP with even star but also because we remember you raiding quite a few of our members. We were countered with the wars we currently have and a prisoner of war but we aren't going to attack a prisoner of war. We didn't officially declare war on you, as we hardly see this as a war. Just loaning a helping hand, that really wasn't needed. Swf changes their plans around so that we could hit you. As far as I am aware even star has not asked anyone for help, you drawing attention to your conflict with evenstar is what caught peoples attention. J.s

I actually think this has more so to do with international revolutions war with evenstar that was completely un-world war related. When we, at vargen, heard swf was planning on going to war with i.r we just wanted to get a bit of revenge for past raids from I.r. and because we are technically obligated by mdp vargen didn't declare because we hardly consider our involvement a war.
