  1. I might actually expect an honest answer from you, personally. From what I've seen you seem pretty cool.
  2. "Cool let's have fun." wasn't really a possibility with Apeman's attitude. It was inherently bitter and vitriolic. Estelle asserted that we are winning insofar as an alliance can win when someone goes apeshit on them with nukes. I do want an honest answer, but I rarely expect them from Mensa particularly when they relate to BoC.
  3. Sirrah, this is the internet. People would never do that.
  4. Clearly it did need to be stated based on the people in this thread somehow expecting us to pull a numeric victory out of our asses as opposed to simply performing optimally and considering that a victory.
  5. It's impossible to win against a rogue in the sense that a well prepared rogue will almost ALWAYS do more damage than he receives if for no other reason that he can spread his attacks out on more expensive infrastructure, but other reasons as well. We're doing the best we can in a situation that can't really be a victory in the normal sense of the word just because of what it is. I am perfectly willing to admit that we don't have magic powers. Virtually any alliance in the game would face similar issues with a rogue. Particularly given that, even by Apeman's own admission, he received a lot of benefit from the disastrous new spy changes. If the spies hadn't been nerfed so ridiculously, we would have been able to minimize the damage to a much greater extent. But that wasn't in the cards (thanks Sheepy). What I would be worrying about if I were you guys is what you're going to do when you're in this situation. Because, thanks to these changes a la Sheepy and the demonstration a la Apeman, it's clear that roguing has become way more viable because spying anyone with over 80 or spies is essentially impossible. But, whatever. It's 12 days' income. And there may be a bit of butthurt coming from our direction, but nothing that even comes close to hanging onto a grudge for four months over a relatively small war with incredibly lenient war goals (we just wanted an apology), and where we peaced out BEFORE one complete round of war. Apeman is literally butthurt over a war that lasted three !@#$ing days. He has mental issues in a sense that I don't use casually. But he's logging into his nation less and less frequently and when he does he sends us messages such as this: He clearly wasn't prepared to lose his nation over this and that's why he's hanging onto those nukes, presumably. He knows he's not going to have any leverage once he fires them. So he's keeping some. The fact of the matter is that if you go rogue and you're not prepared to lose everything, as he clearly isn't, you've lost. So in the sense that we can defeat a rogue, we have.
  6. You've destroyed twelve days' income with our relatively low tax rate. So yes you have set us back twelve days. Which isn't ideal. But it's also not game changing. And it certainly isn't "Wrecking" us. These things happen. I especially like how, as you've been running lower on nukes, you've been pming nations you are at war with to negotiate. Also you just bear a grudge. We won't be able to do anything to satisfy you. And release mensa from its bonds? Is that a joke. Nobody forced either boc or mensa to sign that NAP. Plus it expires rather soon anyway.
  7. There IS a cat with a bottle in your sig. Maybe that's Jodo as... a child? Woah.
  8. Yes, my brilliant plan to coup BoC during election season. I have been found out.
  9. I mean, he clearly doesn't. Clearly someone in Ascension notified him. It made him freak out. He mentioned it. And he tried to get them spared in negotiations. So naw. I think you're wrong. I just want to play a game.
  10. Well, it's pretty obvious that Ascension was a bunch of former ESA guys helping a former ESA guy get revenge on someone that fought ESA. Like, come on. We expressly said that we couldn't negotiate with you if you launched any nukes. However, we can play a little game. For each nuke you launch, one of your friends gets rolled for a number of months equal the number nuke you launched against us. So, for example, you've launched three nukes. You would choose one friend to get rolled for one month, one for two months, and so on. To be clear you can pick the same crony more than once. I.e. you could say nation A receives the 1 missile and the 3 missile to equal a total of 4 months of being rolled. You have to give us your choices within 12 hours of launching the missiles or we will just pick one person each day and designate them for permanent rolling from here until the end of time until you give us your choices. There are some rules: 1: One person cannot receive two or more CONSECUTIVE nuke designations. So you couldn't give one person the one and the two. 2: If a person receives the designation for an odd numbered missile they must receive a designation of an even numbered missile before they receive another odd one and vice versa. 3: ONE person in ascension cannot receive more than one nuke designation. So ONE person cannot receive two or more designations for rolling. Only one. And you can pick that person in the beginning or just pick them when you need to start doubling up. In my game you can't win, but the only way to lose is not play. And you can choose not to play (obviously, we can't make you), but the result will simply be that all of your friends will be perma rolled instead of only some of them being rolled for only a little bit.
  11. I'll deflect attention by coming out of the closet.
  12. They also had no military. Hurrdurr let's blatantly fund a rogue and not be prepared for reprisal.
  13. Shirtless pics plz.
  14. This isn't my first rodeo with Apeman. Exposure seems to have made me LESS acclimated somehow.
  15. I assure you we did not waste the money spying on you. And yeah. The price will be seventy mil rebuilding the cities to 1500 infra. And we'll have a tiny bit less infra than before. You set us back 12 days. Whoop de doo. But I will more than recoup those losses by being personally involved in burning you AND your friends to the ground. You DO care about your nation as evidenced by trying to demand asylum in negotiations. We will knock you down and not allow you to get back up. Your friends can have fun down there as well. You will be out if the game. Nobody will care about you. Well even less than they already do. And we will still be here. And we will still be strong. We will still be better than you. We will still have fun. We will still have demolished ESA and we will relive that memory by torching these former Esa friends of yours who supported your rogue mission. I hope you enjoyed your brief spotlight (during which people still didn't care about you) because your fade back into nothingness will come on fast.
  16. We haven't hit them yet, except to destroy one guy's planes. We were waiting on you. But I'm sure these people knew what they were getting into, supporting you in going nuclear rogue on us. Now that you've nuked us we obviously won't be allowing you or your Co conspirators to go free.
  17. These demands seem reasonable enough, honestly. I approached you before to try and sort out our differences. We are willing to do these things. But we want the troubles to actually be buried. So meet with me on IRC, we will discuss how we want to do this and I want you to air your grievances with us, and me (you didn't before) because you have a lot of anger. I'm on IRC now. And it's fine if you can't get on right now, but an attack on the nations will be considered as you making good on your threats and will end any incentive we have to negotiate.
  18. Here at Cirrus we have a fundamental moral belief that it is wrong to aid or abet those with ideologies that are oppressive to others. Therefore, in line with our moral and religious beliefs, it is our right to refuse such persons service. That's not to say that we have anything against such persons in particular, indeed we are friends with some, simply that we do not approve of their lifestyle in the context of our moral and religious beliefs. If, at any time, such persons realize that government services can only be provided or refused based on citizen/taxpayer status (and nothing else) then we will be happy to accept their patronage once more. There are tolerance and diversity programs we could recommend to bring such results about. As well as prayer. Much Gay Love, Ashland
  19. *takes a swing at Elpinchazo with his broom* Go on! Git! *takes another swing*
  20. I need to put off the larger investments til I build up more capital. Til then I can approve both of these loans at 6.5%. Post here if you accept.
  21. Nope. It's my business and I can turn away customers for whatever reason I like. I discriminate against people who are stupid and who want to see institutional discrimination against me. Tit for a tat.
  22. I've been offering you my consulting services lately, at a discount I might add, to help you and your alliance build up. I will no longer be offering those services to you. Good day, sir.
  23. Looks like Rose can look forward to growing even more massive. Good show, you guys.
  24. You'll shoot your eye out, kid.
