Avruch
This isn't a game suggestion so much as a forum suggestion. Rather than giving people warning points for thread necros, just automatically lock all threads in discussion forums that are inactive for more than 2 weeks. Should relieve some enforcement pressure and is a more elegant solution than shooting down old threads as they turn up.
Kurdanak
Is there a module (or whatever they're called) for that? Changing how the forums work is always difficult, because it's not solely run by P&W and therefore has to deal with certain limitations. If we do find something, the rules would also need to differ between certain parts of the forums. Gravedigging Replying to, or “bumpingâ€, old, unpinned topics which have been inactive for at least 30 days. The following exceptions apply: Alliance Affairs - topics with no posts for at least 10 days will be considering gravedigging. The following are immune to the rule, as long as replies are constructive and remain on-topic. Alliance Recruitment Free Trade Market Game Discussion Game Suggestions All forums in the Social Hub If it's an option, sure! I somehow doubt it, though. Kurdanak
Hmmmm - https://community.invisionpower.com/blogs/entry/7053-ipboard-33-dev-update-archive-system/ Our current forums version is (probably) IP.Board 3.4.8. Is this still an option? EDIT: Also this - http://invisionmodding.com/topic/34467-m30-close-old-topics-100/?hl=close Just a couple links. I haven't looked into them too much yet, though.
