Eric
Quick Review Red Elimination is over Blue Elimination Match 1 over So far it seems like Canada and Armenia have a equal chance of representing the Red Division at the Western Semi-Finals. Based on the League Points, Rekishstein is a favorite to come out of Blue Division, while Hong Kong's future will depend on the next 2 games. If Mid Western Korea loses to Rekishstein AND Hong Kong, then Hong Kong will safely make it into the Round Of Eight as Blue 2. However, if Mid Western Korea wins both matches, then Hong Kong is screwed. If Mid Western Korea wins it's match against Rekishstein and loses to Hong Kong, everyone in Blue will have a 1-0-1 record and it will be determined by LP. However if Mid Western wins vs Hong Kong and loses to Rekishstein, then Hong Kong's screwed. Just a update. Planned matches: Blue Elimination Match 2 Blue Elimination Match 3 If Yellow division is full by this time, then Yellow Elimination Matches 1,2,3 will start. If not, then the Round Of Eight matches for Red and Blue will start. Quote Proud Canadian, Proud Ontarian

Eric
How do you know? It's totally random... you could win! If you win, then Mid-Western is screwed. If Mid-Western wins, then Hong Kong is screwed. If you guys tie 0-0, then Mid-Western is screwed. If you guys tie 1-1 or above, then Hong Kong is screwed. Thanks to your awesome performance in Game 1, you are pretty much invincible. You've literally got a guaranteed spot in the Round Of Eight Blue. Baker_Harrington
How do you calculate league score?
Eric
League Score is calculated this way: Win = (Your Score - Opponent's Score) x10 Lose = [(Opponent's Score - Your Score) /2] x10 Team A VS Team B 10-1 Team A gets 90 League points. Team B loses 45 League Points. You get a x1.25 bonus added to the final number IF YOU ARE PLAYING A HOME GAME, and you have a stadium. Eric
BLUE DIVISION RESULTS Blue Division was a interesting and bumpy ride from the start. Rekishstein was guaranteed a spot from the first game, when they took Hong Kong down brutally 3-0. They only extended that lead when they beat Mid Western Korea 4-1. The Rekishstein Dragons will be entering the Blue Division Round Of Eight as Blue 1. Also, important to note is that Rekishstein has 67.5 League Points. The next best nation, Armenia, has 17.5. Hong Kong did acceptably well in this Division. They lost their game to Rekishstein 3-0, but later made a comeback and beat Mid Western Korea 1-0 in what was the most score-less game in IHL history so far. Mid-Western Korea just couldn't get their act together this time. They lost in a close match against Hong Kong 1-0. After that, the stakes were high. If Mid-Western Korea won the game VS Rekishstein, they would advance. If they lost, then Hong Kong would advance. Unforunately for them that day, they were certainly not at their best, losing to Rekishstein 4-1. Hong Kong will be advancing as Blue 2 in the Round Of Eight. Rekishstein and Hong Kong will recieve their $45,000 for moving on AT THE END OF THE TOURNAMENT. Mid-Western Korea, you are unfortunately out of this tournament. But fear not! The IHL will be continuing beyond this tournament, and you are registered as a member of the IHL. So next tournament, all you need to do is pay the registration fee and you're in! We hope to see you back at the next IHL event! Red and Blue Round Of Eight matches will start as we wait for members to fill up the Yellow and Green divisions.
