Six of Ten
So in your opinion, what is the best use of a Synthesizer in a rock song? posting song titles or videos is ok.
Alice Lune
Synthesizer? Do you mean normal composer type sound synthesizer or voice synthesizers? I don't know much about those synthesizer equips used for sound management, but I do know plenty of voice synthesizers. Not rock/metal. There is only one human voice in this video, can you guess which? (subtitled) Not rock/metal. Same case, only one human voice, the rest are computer generated. (subtitled) This is probably more your style. It's rock compilation and if you like any, just look at the details posted. FYI, everything in this compilation was made in a home computer. From the human-like voice, to the musical instruments, they're all synthesized. (not subtitled) Megurine Luka's Reon (subtitled) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRmZNChhL00&feature=youtu.be Megurine Luka's Puzzle (not subtitled) Megurine Luka's Interviewer. My personal favourite out of all Luka's song for now. It's very well done, you can't even tell that it's the computer singing. I personally think synthesizers are fine. It allows people with small budget to make good songs. It also allows composers who has neither budget nor instrumental mastery to make great songs using only their creativity and a quadcore computer.
