Shakyr
Military attacks should be able to target specific improvements, with a % chance to disable (say 0% for Pyrrhic Victory, 1% for Moderate Success, 3% for Immense Triumph), based on the success of the attack. The disabled improvement would be restored after x turns, based on the success of the attack (say 1 turn for Pyrrhic Victory, 2 for Moderate Success, 4 for Immense Triumph). This could then also be extended to the espionage system and replace the current attacks vs Soldiers/Tanks/Aircraft.
Jacob Knox
My thoughts: I think the odds to destroy an improvement should be improved (or at least reworked with odds increasing as infra levels drop), but I disagree with being able to target specific improvements (outside of missile targeting) and disable them with attacks. I kind of like the idea of being able to target an improvement with espionage and have a chance to temporarily disable it, though. I don't think it should replace the targeting of units, but give the user more options. I'm all for more espionage options. What exactly would "disabling" an improvement entail, especially for military improvements? I think, based on the answer to the previous question, 1, 2, and 4 turns may be too short of a time. I'm not sure, especially since we have to consider maintaining balance and not making it overpowered.
