Popular Post Doom
So I'm having fun getting back into the game, and I just recently found out that your nation gets deleted 30 days after you last longed on. Jan 20th is when I leave for the military and, so, I wouldn't be able to get for 2 or so months. An option to where you can go on vacation for as long as you want would be nice. It could send you to a new color that won't allow anyone to attack you ,but you can't produce anything and don't need to make any upkeep. This would help me cause I would hate to restart. naTia
I can really understand the need for something like this but I think it should be more formalized. i think you should have to inform Sheepy and/or have a set amount of time before your nation can be reactivated simply for reasons of the potential for abuse. For example, if two alliances are about to go at it somebody could just as easily turn themselves onto that color and wait it out until the end of the war/until everybody is harmed. That way, they could either be unharmed, or attack people who are already weak by just switching back. For similar reasons, I think the proper way to go about it would be to put them on a new color so that they could not add to the current color. 1 Quote Resident DJ @ Club Orbis Founder of The Warehouse

Otherwise, you could go on vacation mode whenever and it would be like being on beige. Maybe your country dosen't produce while on vacation mode, and you have to give a reason? A vacation mode should of course halt all resource usage and production, income and expenses, and trade offers. 1 Quote Resident DJ @ Club Orbis Founder of The Warehouse
WISD0MTREE
On Bloc, Rummy actually added vacation mode before he died went inactive. You were still be vulnerable for 24 hours after vacation mode. Nothing was produced or lost. You had a set day when it would expire and couldn't log in before vacation mode expired. Niklaus
I know bumping on these kinds of threads may be frowned upon and this suggestion may already be in the to-do list but I am gonna say it anyway. When it's going to be implemented? It's should be somewhat high priority (only second to crucial game fixes) imo. Quote Blood of a king. Heart of a lion. Pax
I agree. Sometimes real life happens, and games like Politics and War are meant to be casual games you can just put a few minutes of time into a day and still enjoy. Losing your nation entirely because of outside circumstances does suck pretty hard. 1 Quote <+JohnHarms> We need more feminists
