WonOne Posted February 7, 2021 Share Posted February 7, 2021 Can't seem to figure out why my city has no power... 800 infr, 70K pop, 1300 sq mi 4xfarms 5x coal mine, 5x coal power, 1x iron mine That's all I have left. I got rid of 1xbarrack, 1xsupermarket, 1xbank and 1xfarm trying to figure out why I had no power. Still, no power. How is that possible? TIA oh, I got rid of a recycling center too. Solomon Ben-David Posted February 7, 2021 Share Posted February 7, 2021 First off, you don't need 6 coal power plants. One can power up to 500 infrastructure, so you need two of them. Next, you might want to buy a bit of coal on the market to jump-start you. This, along with decreasing the amount of coal mines you have (because they need coal to work), should get you set up nicely. You can also check if you're losing coal (which I'm assuming is the most likely case) on the Revenue tab (between Projects and Military in the sidebar) 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've made sure that I always am running a net positive on coal. I have coal in reserves. jfsng, I now have 3 coal mines and 2 coal power Still, no power for city, ughh.. Still no power 1) buy coal from the trade market so your cities get powered (you should transition to 1 nuclear power soon since it powers up to 2000) 2) it's better to focus on one type of raw and stack as much of that mine as possible so you get a production bonus (the maximum is 10) 3) your city has 800 infrastructure, so you will need to have 2 coal power plants to power it (each coal power plants powers up to 500) 4) use the other remaining slots you have on military (if your alliance allows you to raid, go for it and you can get money and resources that way 😎) 5) hope this will be helpful! 🙂 Quote My opinion may not reflect those of my alliance or its affiliates.
