Commerce build is nice and all, but selling resources can potentially net you bigger result if you can figure out what's the bottom price you'd have to sell your stuff to gain profit. Or you can go to the other route entirely: stack barracks and raid other nations for sweet cash. I'd recommend getting at least two supermarkets for starters.
