The Laurentian President extends her invitation for all world leaders and chiefs diplomats to attend a Summit in Paris. The Summit will allow all nations to discuss freely without interruption their concerns and current issues, and allow the nations in attendance prepare a future charter or foundation for a neutral space to discuss relations.

The Baalshamin arrived at the local airport, dropping off a pearlescent Lexus LC500h and a pair of armored Suburbans with a few bodyguards, the CEO disliked having them but it was easier to just take them along rather than listen to the board of directors complain about "security risks". Wearing a suit jacket and a t-shirt with the words "Flynn Lives" written in a unique font. This was not expected to be a very interesting adventure, but an excuse to mingle with other leaders was usually an entertaining time at least. The bodyguards would be sent off to scan the room for bugs and the other assorted tasks they were here for, while he went to join the room slowly filling with the other leaders. He decided to make his way to get a drink rather than engage in the bland conversations that usually prefaced such events.

President Dagon Thyne and Foreign Minister Marcus Logan of the Republic of Ashilia arrive at the summit in a the Ashilia Presidential Limousine.  

Following them, in one of Ashilia's Secret Service vehicles, were a team of bodyguards.  President Thyne and Minister Logan made their way into the building, guininely interested in what this summit would involve.  They brought with them several boxes of fine Ashilian cigars to give as gifts to the other leaders attending the summit.  President Thyne sees CEO Mogar the bar and joins him.  

"It's good to see you, Mr. Magar.  I don't believe we've met.  I'm President Dagon Thyne of Ashilia.  Would you mind if I joined you for a drink?.  Also, I would like to give you a gift, some Ashilian cigars, made by one of the best cigarmakers in the world."

President Cheuk arrived in Paris by a self-driving electric car after a short journey, involving the completion of multiple intense online multiplayer team games of Space Command. The two bodyguards accompanying him used their BrainChips to rapidly scan the area for bugs, before determining it as safe. After 5 minutes of exploring his picturesque surrounds, Cheuk entered the main area and began chatting to other leaders. He had always found small talk difficult and uninteresting, so he hoped a few jokes could break the ice. Now would be a vital time to make first impressions.

The First day of the Conference was filled with Warm welcomes and a cultural experience for many world leaders. The First day had many side meetings, most notably Laurentian Prime Minister Korczak met with Rainbow Pact ambassadors to discuss matters of international security, President Laurens meeting C.C. of Britannia to discuss new innovation in technology, The President of the Nova Empire to discuss engineering and relations, and the Resorian High Chancellor.  

    Throughout the opening reception, various leaders and CEOs had discussions in their own circles. The first meeting of Global leaders in Paris allowed newly formed nations to also introduce themselves to the prestigious and experienced world leaders on Orbis. President Laurens managed to speak with Dictator of Italy, and the Ukrainian First Secretary. 

    After refreshments and mingling had ceased. A speech by Prime Minister Korczak opened the Summit. “Promoting world issues in a positive manner is a necessity to get world development and international standards of living rising. Laurentia is honored that many states have accepted this invitation to lay the Foundation for what we hope, shall become the hub of Global Development. The United Nations, or as we like to call it Les Nations Unies is a fundamental organization that serves to provide the opportunity of all states, regardless of political alignment or power to speak as equals and without repercussion the issues and the topics that matter most. The UN Would provide the setting for these though-provoking issues to be addressed, and for multilateral support against terrorism, crime and poverty. The UN will never act as an organization to take action against other states, neither will it impose its will on other nations. All actions and resolutions of the United Nations will be non-binding. Let the acts of The US in nuking Saigon, the Violation of Human Rights in Yemen, and across the world serve as a reminder to us. Liberty comes at a price, and we must defend our liberty of self-determination and sovereignty. Thank you.” 

    The Reception formally ended, with all the delegations heading to their designated rooms to retire for the evening. Prime Minister Korczak and some of the delegations spent time on the terrace before heading inside for the busy day tomorrow.
