On November 1st 2010 the great powers of The Khalifah of Arabia and The Empire of Britannia Signed the treaty of Jerusalem, to restore the Khilafa's lands and serve peace in the region. 24 hours of heated debate on either sides and multiple arguments arose before both signatories, Khalif Abu Haddad Saif al Islam Ahmad ibn Omar ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Osman ibn Abubakar Al Hatimy Al Tayy and Emperor Lelouch Vi Brittania, finally signed the treaty. Although the Khilafa seems to be limited with this treaty, Abu Haddad has declared that it is a victory for Islam as we are free to propagate islamic sharia and once again conquer the world and spread the true religion

 

The Treaty of Jerusalem

 

Clause I : Britannia agrees to cede The Region of Madinah back to The Khilafah on the condition they remain on good terms with other Britannian Allied Countries for a Britannian Month (RL Month)

 

Clause II : A waqf (mosque governance) shall be created to maintain the mosque of the prophet (saw).

Clause III : The city of Jerusalem will be kept by Britannia but will be kept borderless for all members of the Abrahamic faiths, and the tourism of the city will also be allowed for non-religious visits.

Clause IV : The city of Madinah will be kept borderless to all non-arab Muslims, but Arab Muslims will have some restrictions upon visiting.

Clause V : All cessesion of land to the Khilfah shall be gradual to ensure tensions are kept low, however during this transition period unarmed Arabs will have freedom of travel along the religious city borders.

Clause VI : Arabia will manage both mosques along with Brittania for the transition period.

Clause VII: Arabia is unable to station any military or military weapons within a 10 KM distance

Clause VIII: Arabia shall limit threats and war to a bare minimum for allies of Britannia or the treaty becomes nullified. The allies are as follows: Rokkenjima, GMR, France, Sweden, Ruhr, Prussia, Chernigov, and Evenstar.

 

Further news:

Islamic forces have steamrolled and faced minimal resistance in new territories it has taken. It has reached its previous limit of 56 regions with another 2 added on for December.

Firstly it intervened on the side of the Islamists in Syria and managed to seize territory with their allies their, also we returned to spain where we found great rejoicing by the populace as we liberated them from the disbelievers

The Holy Britannian Empire hopes this treaty will ensure peace in the Middle East for as long as possible. However, Britannia will not be afraid to deal justice to those who wish to break this peace on either side.

Chernigov, while not having the best relations with Arabia, will expect that Arabia will follow this treaty completely, lest they face the wrath of the Imperial Armada.

The Republic of Exodus hopes this will keep Arabia contained from taking hostile actions.
