Caesar Marches on Rome

Because of the parallels of Caesar marching on Rome with Trump's assumption of the U.S. presidency, I feel the following meme is necessary.

Trump-as-roman-emperor.jpg

Like in Ancient Rome, Trump marched against all odds(crossing the Rubicon) risking all to battle the corrupt establishment(the Senate) in order to liberate the American(Roman) people from tyranny.  They laughed and slandered and forced him into a corner.  What they didn't expect was that he would fight back.

"Your cattle will die, your friends will die, you will die. But your reputation, if it is good, will never die."  -excerpt from the Havamal

"We are born into this time and must bravely follow the path to the destined end. There is no other way. Our duty is to hold on to the lost position, without hope, without rescue, like that Roman soldier whose bones were found in front of a door in Pompeii, who, during the eruption of Vesuvius, died at his post because they forgot to relieve him. That is greatness. That is what it means to be a thoroughbred. The honorable end is the one thing that can not be taken from a man."  -Oswald Spengler

Out of curiosity, what is Bernie Sanders doing in the march? I'm assuming it's to do with the fact that they're both anti-establishment, but care to explain the connection there?

Honestly, I don't really get that part of the picture, but it probably has to do with the fact that Bernie was screwed over by Hillary and a significant portion of his supporters went to Trump.

I would assume it's due to Bernie supporters going Trump and the bad publicity Clinton got from screwing him over.
