The proposal for settling down for less as offered by Darth, alongside the protracted nature of the talks and the alternatives explored during it makes it quite obvious that they did try to negotiate first

Logic dictates that this was Carthago's final offer, which had already been deemed as unacceptable.

Please, before commenting, read HS's "statement of facts". Even it clearly says we offered 3-4bn and they deemed it "unacceptable". They wanted 8bn and were unwilling to bulge on that. Their "obvious" negotiations were only insofar as them wanting to get an extortionate amount.

If Krampus has too much going on IRL, he should have passed the reins to someone else. For instance I don't start shady poorly run bank because I know I don't have time. It's really that simple. Hard to believe, but everyone knows at the end of a school semester there are exams. Its easy to plan ahead and be responsible especially when others are reliant on you.

Again, even your allies document shows screenshots of us saying i was looking to retire and offering them the ceo position (revan speecifically - their econ head). and them suggesting a low gov. The point is to show that we did try.

I didn't start the bank. The bank was started 3 years ago by bendi (OWR), i simply took it over after he left. His book keeping was even worse than this. I tried my best to reorganize it, but fell to neglect after OWR mass deleted. It was just not worth the time and effort

All in all this response can be summed up as "krampus man bad", lol

Man everyone's got optional ties now. Doesn't this mean its way more risky to make a move for fear of getting rolled to heck? HoF is causing stagnation. How ironic.

Zigbir is not allowed to criticize hof apparently

try asking for a TLDR :serious:

    Hmm.

"Camelot is literally NPO and Epi is Ivan Moldavi!!!" Rings hollow after 70 days of fighting NPO founded by Ivan Moldavi.

"Camelot must apologize for fighting in the NPOLT!" Sounds disingenuous when those same voices tell NPO not to apologize.

"NPOLT is just an excuse to take a shot at Camelot!" Does it matter? The outcome is still Camelot being isolated, denounced, and rolled for it.

Camelot is not a villain. We do not have the means or ambition to conquer the game.

Camelot is a rebel. We're outnumbered, outgunned, and still fighting to survive against the game.

Only the bravest alliances will stand with us. And when we look to our left and right, we don't see any the community celebrates willing to do so.

I can't tell if you're that disconnected from reality or just a very dedicated troll but ok

no one is giving camelot shit for npolt. at least not in this day and age.

but i must give props to epi for being able to brainwash his members into whatever this post was, this is a level of propaganda i aspire to reach

Let this thread be the litmus test for whether you should respond to a poster, in P&W and in real life: did they read the original post and comprehend its meaning or did they read the headline and immediately jump into the replies with some idiotic nonsense.

Honestly, this. the amount of people who couldn't tell this was a joke is astonishing. par for the course for pnw I suppose

  5. Sir, this is the wrong thread, this post should be made under r/im14andthisisdeep

On a serious note, I agree completely with you on the bank/business concerns. That's what happens when everyone with a breath can open up a "bank". Unfortunately as long as there are gullible people, there will be micro banks trying to scam you out of your money.

    - "don't let me start with debt traps"
What you described is actually an unrealistic scenario, most debt trapping doesn't occur with low tier noobs. A noob doesn't know better to leave his current alliance to join another one, so it is unnecessary to waste hundreds of millions as you say on c1s. Not to mention, they'll have activity problems if they get everything on day 1 and probably go inactive, which is to say this doesn't happen often.

This gets ignored often, but typically, members who take grants/loans do so knowing the strings attached with it. Afterall, no one is operating a charity here, so expecting to take hundreds of millions or even billions in grants, only to bail the next week, is obviously not going to fly.

     - "There's no point fighting"
If your alliance encourages this behaviour, than you're probably in the wrong place. Most alliances who offer rebuilds after wars won't do so for members who didn't participate at all. Then again, my view is non-micro oriented.

    - "until I made gov, I was completely voided by my alliance"

I have two things to say in this instance. If, as a fresh new member to the alliance, you expect to be given a voice in big decisions, then you're delusional. For obvious reasons, noobs and newcomers can't be trusted with information that pertains to the security of the alliance.
But, if for example, your alliance can't give you proper reasoning for actions they take, tax farms you, or shuts you out in that regard, the responsibility is on you to leave. if it's such a place I'm guessing they'll try to steal your deposits as well, so withdraw your deposits with an excuse like building AUP or a city, and get the hell out of dodge.
