  1. Well hello y'all,

First of all - lets just take a second to correct a minor mistake that was made here - the line where it says 'abuse of downvoting' is incorrect. The correct would be trolling/harassment/posting in NDF while not providing valuable information to the report...etc. Chris is a new mod and new to this community and he's trying, but to be honest you would have received a warn anyway - likely from another moderator or myself.

Now that we have that particular issue out of the way - we can move on to what you're doing now. I have just cycled through about 5 reports from you, reporting multiple people for NDF posts and the such, so let's just talk about that.

NDF - Non-Discussion Forum: Is a forum/subforum where we ask that normal discussion be removed. It allows us moderators to actually see the report and see it clearly rather than sort through a multitude of posts. People who know about the subject and people that want to provide valid information about the subject reported are allowed to speak within those posts - in fact - it's encouraged. Even if you are named within the report - posting in an NDF in a manner that really doesn't provide evidence on your behalf or assists in the report itself is still...against the rules an that is honestly what you did.

Additionally, we have Admins, Moderators, and Wiki Mods. Most of those are pretty much common sense in identifying who they are and what they do, but for everyone I'll outline:

Admin: These guys are the big boss - game owner/game runnin boss hog. This would be Alex/sheepy/Chris (red tag)

Forum Moderators/Mods: These guys oversee forum moderation (we don't even have access to mod Discord!) We are just here on the forums. I am an example of a Forum mod (blue tag)

Wiki Mod: These guys do stuff on the wiki for PW - they don't have any access to forum/game moderation, but funny enough these guys usually are the moderators on discord. (green tag)

What you're doing is continuing why you received a warn in the first place - and it doesn't help your case or actually better the understanding we ask of you in terms of what you did wrong to deserve the warning. Sure, you can argue that the warn reason was incorrect - but the truth is you still would have received a warn.

    Lastly, this thread is closed.

Can you provide a screenshot of your revenue log? Surely there has to be some type of error - maybe your alliance taxes?

  3. I can confirm this @Sir Scarfalot

We warned this individual in the same manner Thalmor was warned as it was the same offense. The post in question wasn't removed because Thalmor's original post wasn't removed wither. In effort to keep things equal, we kept it the same. In the future, use the report function - Moderation Staff sees those reports and we received over 8 reports for this post, posting here is not necessary - if you have a question, please message a moderator.

    This thread is now closed.

    Shifty is a good boi

    Sometimes Shifty does bad things

    Shifty has warns

One warn expired on the 20th

Two expire 10/02 (I got 2 for the same offense at once, talk about Double Jeopardy)

The other has no expiration date. Why is this so?

Shifty is a good boi and is asking for a good response.

    I've reviewed you claim.

Being that the previous warn fell in line with the 2 points warn that you received shortly after, I made the executive decision to revoke the never expiring warn from your account.

Don't say I never gave ya anything.

  5. Very good question @Ukunaka

Within clubs, the creator change members of that club to be moderators or leaders. The difference in these is as follows.

Leaders - A leader can moderate content and manage members in the club, including making other members leaders. The creator of the club initially, is a leader

Moderators - A moderator can moderate content only. They cannot make any structural changes to the group, nor make any other members leader or moderator.

You can change a member to a leader or moderator, from the members tab within any club, as shown in the image below.

The last warn I see is from July 3rd for derailing a topic. With a maximum of 2 warn points showing up on the account with no forum posting restrictions.

Obviously, acknowledging the warn must be done in order to progress and be able to have full access to the forum. Not quite sure why that wouldn't just be done.

  7. My time here on these forums, there is always this giant up and down of activity and inactivity mixed in with another line of we should add more rules and we should remove more rules. A lot of the time here, because this is a largely public venue, you'll end up with quality posters and then very very low quality posters. When you mix those together, you end up with the feeling that you're putting in 'all this work' and you're really not getting any recognition or any participation from other leaders in the RP world. So, it really comes down to is it really worth your time developing such in-depth stories and narratives for your nation/characters?

In my opinion, as someone who has moderated this forum and added the organic RP a while back because of issues in Nat RP, and someone who enjoys a great collaborative RP between people, there needs to be an obvious change.

You can tell people to be more creative, provide deeper posts, etc...till you're blue in the face. Fact is, it really isn't going to change anything. I think the answer here is to create an exclusive group, private from the public, but allows visibility of the rules/forum. I believe there needs to be a bit more quality enforcement from members which is overseen by a moderator/moderators who can ensure that whatever system (maybe up/downvotes) isn't abused.

Allow those people who want to post sentences to remain in some public area, but create a system that is private and exclusive for those of you who want something a bit more substance filled.

IDK just a thought. I love RP and hate seeing the continuous downward spiral.

How do I get the "we'd like to send you notifications" message to not appear constantly?

I'm assuming you're either switching from different devices or your cache/cookies are cleaned out after each browser exit. I don't set my browser settings to clear history/cache/cookies unless I manually do it, so if I say no - it doesn't ever send that again.

  9. Yeah, I know you all hate this.

First public warning to keep things civil - I see a lot of flaming/baiting and personal OOC attacks. Before we start handing out warns like Oprah hands out cars, lets just get back to reality here and understand there are some set rules in this community. Argue on discord where we can't get you or make secret clubs to pursue your arguments.

Lets not push this to a 2nd public warning, I hate closing threads.

    Thank you.

So knowing the login of 2 accounts although you only control 1 is considered having multiple nations?

You said yourself that you took his login information to "bump him along" and "if needed borrow some resources" - which shows you were logging into his account to support your account. Which, by all logic, means that you were logging into 2 nations, on your own, on the same network, which led to a ban.

    Clearly a rule break.

  11. Use the block function to refrain from further message abuse.

Sorry @Sir Scarfalot - use the block button & Alex will be along shortly to review this a bit closer.

"and I wrote down his login information to bump him along and if needed, borrow some of his resources"

This line right here would indicate that you were in fact logging into 2 separate accounts as one person - which is why you have been banned forever. This is regardless of the fact, if true, that the nation in question is not controlled by a friend. I am not a moderator of the game, but because our game admin is pretty busy, I'm putting this here to help you along.

Alex will be able to determine actual judgement on this when he comes around.

  13. Clubs are live!

Just click the club tab up top or on the sidebar and you're set to making your own club OR joining an existing one.

here are some basic rules as promised.

    • Inappropriate Imagery
      • Porn/Nudes/Shock Images - common sense. If you're mom didn't want you looking at it as a kid, it shouldn't be here.
    • Terrorism Groups
      • If you support terrorists of any type, from any year/time, you're going to have a bad time. Don't do it.
    • Nazi Groups
      • Groups that represent nazis and support nazis will not be allowed. Feel free to talk about them in discussion, but we aren't about to make a new reich here on the PW forums.
    • Hate Speech!
      • There is a think line here, most opinions today are considered 'hate speech'  - discussion is a discussion, but blatantly hating on a person or a group is gonna be against the rules. Best thing to do, make a closed club and select your audience. ;)
    • Common Sense
      • If you're creating a club, you are auto-agreeing to the common sense rule. Keep it chill, don't do anything that would normally be considered wrong in the public or in front of jesus/santa/or whatever you consider to be held to high standards. :P
    • Have Fun With it
      • This is a new thing for the community, have fun and make it creative.

  14. The idea for clubs are for members to kinda build their own audience and discuss what they want with the people that also like that specific topic. So, here are some more 'relaxed' rules for you all: (note, these rules are only for clubs)
