Mayan Territories, Orbis The Pords and Mri were at the gates. While no official declaration of war had yet come, the build up of forces sent a clear message to the Nakbe. The Nohoch Belnalob, Kabil Ix, in charge of the Maya Terrestrial Forces on Orbis, was well aware of the Pordish and Mri prowess in war. Instead of rushing out to meet them at the beaches, he decided to use numerical superiority, and home advantage to the Mayan Benefit... For the Maya, they had not yet established surface dwellings yet, and as such, their forces remained underneath the earth and mobile. Kabil Ix ordered for the full withdrawal of all forces in the eastern province, with the very base Javelin itself seeping into the mantle and moving westward. While this took place, the central province's forces began amassing along the Provincial borders. Three Million Warriors, Ten Thousand Transports, Twelve Thousand Escorts, Six Thousand Armoured Artillery, and Three Hundred Carriers, ammassed along the provincial border and began the establishment of a fortified front. In the Western Province, similarly sized forces began to move toward the Eastern Front, with the intent to establish a secondary Front behind the first. Near the Ruins of Crystal City The command to retreat did not sit kindly with many of the Nakbe warriors in the eastern province. Sixty Thousand Warriors and accompanying craft, with great zeal and haste, made way to the ruins of Crystal City to set up defenses. The Nine Armoured Arty that had accompanied the force began to fire upon the enemy forces approaching the ruins of Mathis, while the rest of the Mayan force coalesced within the City. They were quick to set up their Mobile Defence Units, and link Arrays, but the force had not all arrived at once, and indeed, not all of it had yet arrived at all. A message was sent to the Pords and Mri: Remove yourselves from Maya Territory, or declare your intent for war. A short, but to the point declaration from the unruly force at Crystal City. ___________________________________________________

[Suggestion] Organic Roleplay Section

Not exactly what we mean. When it comes to the OOC threads that would accompany IC ones, that is less a locational thing, and more of just removing clutter. It can be all in the same subsection. More of, we're asking for a subsection where IC development is the emphasis. You are very much correct on change being slow, which is why there will be an alternate timeline RP comming up where the Pords(Schwieger) and the Mri will be invading Toninan Mexico. The thread will progress in the Organic Format and showcase it. This thread here's all well and good, but we should show you guys what we mean as well. _ As for the suggestions: 1) Critical for any RP forum to thrive. 2) Critical for IC progression, and thus for the RP to increase in quality. 3) Depends on the rules, I think... I mean, we lost San Florence for not having his in game nation.. And the "only War with consent" rule has my nation in a weird spot IC... I think I'm really going to have to resort to this realm having some anomaly where hostile attempts get stuck in a timeloop at random. Thus IC still being at a state of war, so to speak, but not able to attack Britannia because of these timeloop anomalies.. Some of the forum rules are kinda counter productive as far as RPing goes. They might have the mods get fewer complaints, but honestly, the RP community won't be able to grow properly with too much coddling. This is in my experience anyways. A system where actions have no consequences hinders RP. The struggle is how one learns. It's when the pressure is on that people tend to have the chance to step up on a level not seen before. *My 2 Cents* -

To be fair, this kind of system would not likely take up much of the Moderators time, as it lends itself to a certain degree of community self moderation. Unless OOC harassment, or other non-RP rules are broken, it won't require Mods being invovled. As for just using it as a Thread's House-Rules, so to speak, as if "by joining this thread you're agreeing to Organic RP", that is a likely turn of events for future threads. -

I doubt it will be locked, since a Mod told us to make it. Speaking of Moderation, and having Multiple accounts being a bannable offense, any Mod that wants to look into these accusations is welcomed to be added to our FB chat group. Anyways, back on topic, for the skeptics of this approach to RP, a thread's in the works to showcase this approach to the forums. Stay tuned. -

I know, but the man's criticisms apply to him just as much as the people he's criticizing. -

PS: For those Curious as to why we're looking for other sites to RP on... NS's one flaw is that it's so big, RP groups kinda get into their own little world. We all come from smaller forums, where there number of RPers is so that it sort of creates a community. -

And then, there were conspiracies. We all must have Multi'd our Facebooks too so we can deceive each other into thinking we're not talking to ourselves. *Rolls eyes* -

I agree with this suggestion, having had my own issues with the RP rules in the main section today. -
Are you sending those into my territory? _ They would be on the border and a little bit in your territory to retrieve the fleeing Britannians _ Ah, well you should make that clearer. Well what I stated in my post will be what the response to those who cross over, or open fire from the other side of the border will have to deal with. _ Just a heads up we are going to destroy anyone who fires on my country. Knightmare Frames are highspeed armoured mechs, placement weapons would be sitting ducks for Knightmares. As well as, we are sending 100 Knightmares now to personally rescue citizens. _ Now to me, while this isn't an outright "let's have a war", we both stated here, clearly, that we would both increase aggression if x happened. (Clearly to the point of war, as I read it here) We both did those things that cause escalations. Honestly, the second we fired on eachother, this was agreed upon, we increased aggression and the result is obviously war... This is confusing to me, War is basically assured with this back and forth... Can we get a Mod in here to decide?

Either way, I don't see how it applies because: 1) There was consultation, and it was in his mind not an issue until just now when he finally realizes how bad the situation is for him. 2) Both he and I are using Tech that does not apply to the In-Game stats, as such if I am guilty of this he is as well. (Knightmare frames are clearly not Modern Tech, or P&W gameside cannon. 3) the IC precedent is there, as pointed out by Nalydya.

OOC: I did say there would be a refugee crisis.. I did not say to go over the border or engage my troops. That is the declaration of war. This is also why I have not increased aggression with San Florence, who merely stayed on his side and aided those who crossed. When I started cleansing the populace, you moved into my borders and attacked my troops. That was the issue.
