  2. The Paris attacks were still reminiscent amongst the minds of the Laurentian people. Angered and lustful for vengeance, the Laurentian Government had employed over fifteen people to work around the clock find those responsible, with the power of the Laurentian Government and her intelligence agencies the Special Task Force had identified two ring-leaders of the attacks. The Cyber-Division of the DGSE identified Shepard and Chief Wohmpa. Although it would take months of joint DGSI and DGSE operatives and intelligence analysts to find the identities of these Alias the Laurentian Government were not only able to get the names of the ringleaders, but also visual confirmation. In a failed sting operation, the DGSE would nearly capture El Jefe, an Alias for Raymon Brunelle a 32 Caucasian male of Laurentian citizenship. During the failed operation, one DGSE operative and three civilians were killed resulting in the Allied-Italian Government stepping up its role in tracking down El Soto and other Scorpio members. Salle de Situation Présidentielle [SSP] Colonel Dianna Hammond: “Madame President, The GIGN, and HNP are en route to the farmhouse. The Hungadada Emperor has assured us that they will capture Raymond, we have a live video feed of the GIGN and HNP.” On the live feed, the GIGN and HNP remained silent as they drove in armored vehicles to a farmhouse in rural and northern Hungadada. Captain Neal: deux minute, preparer mon ami, Several: D’accord Twitch: prêt Savior: prêt Docteur: prêt Échecs: prêt Captain Neal: HNP, deus minutes out, prepared my friends? HNP 1: Ready sir HNP 2: Squared away HNP 3: Locked and loaded HNP 4: Yes sir Captain Neal “This is Chess-maker, we are outside the target building. The building seems quite, no major activity. Thermal readings only detect one source inside, HNP is circling the building, our team will breach.” President Korczak nodded Colonel Dianna Hammond. “Affirmative, Kingpin is at play” Captain: “Roger, Kingpin is at play. Chess-maker out” The Laurentian GIGN and one member of the HNP would reach the door, with two men stationed at each entrance and exit. Bringing the door hammer, the HNP broke down the door, tossing a flash. The Laurentian GIGN would rush in, followed by the HNP. They secured the ground floor before pushing up. Downstairs, Savior and a member of the HNP broke down the garage door and swept the bottom floor. Raymond picked up his firearm, illegally brought into Hungadada and fired several shots at the HNP and GIGN. With strict orders to capture Raymond alive, the GIGN tossed a secondary flash. They burst the room, rushing and pinning Raymond as the HNP secured his weapon. Successfully capturing Raymond, the GIGN placed a black hood over him. No doubt the neighborhood would have heard the shots and flocked to see what havoc was brought to their peaceful neighborhood. The HNP created a permitter and told residents to head back in, three Laurentian diplomatic vehicles arrived at the scene and escorted The GIGN and Raymond back to The Laurentian Embassy in Port Royalty. At the Embassy The Laurentian Troupe de Marine and Armee de L’air placed Raymond in a Seahawk as they flew across the Channel to Paris where Laurentian Prosecutors and the DGSE awaited Raymond to be interrogated. A Joint Laurentian-Flemish court case would charge Raymond Brunelle on Terrorism, Destruction of Property, Use of illegal biohazards, Illegal possession of firearms, Illegal possession of chemical weapons, unpermitted firearm, transfer of weapons from Flanders to Hungadada without permit, failure to complete military service, failure to comply with Ministry of Interior guidelines on Chemical Safety. EUROPEAN ARREST WARRANT The Laurentian Foreign Intelligence Agency was, however, more interested in finding Ms. Mugabi, a senior member Scorpio she was the head of the entire Scorpio chemical department. A former researcher, she joined the FRA and AHM as a chemist and aided them with obtaining Cobra and helped smuggle Cobra across the globe. Her Alias Chief Wohmpa flagged, made an appearance in Crete, thanks to the tip-off from the Italian Intelligence Agencies, Laurentia’s DGSE agents flew into Crete as tourists. The winter breeze, calming and soothing flew over the Cretan island, a popular destination for tourists from the European Union and Abroad during this season. Posing as tourists from Greece, Italy, Poland, and Laurentia the DGSE’s sole mission was to capture Sasha Mugabi at all costs. The HNP would not be informed, in an effort to minimize possible collaboration and of course to protect the DGSE agents operating inside foreign territory. Paying in cash, the DGSE rented a boat under a false alias before sailing to a distant island not far from the main Cretan Island. The Strike-Team would turn off their engine, as they let the current drive them the last leg of the journey, the clear crystal waters of crete would make underwater submersion impossible so the Strike-Team used the boat to drift to the coast and hiking 630 meters before reaching the small estate. Guarded by Scorpio Agents, the DGSE would approach the gates and break past the fencing avoiding enemy patrols. The young charismatic woman was not hard to distinguish, tossing a Candella, the DGSE neutralized her two-man detail and used a Chloroform dapped cloth, they knocked out Sasha before being extracted by an Italian Eurocopter to Southern Italy. At an undisclosed airbase, the DGSE followed normal procedure reading Sasha’s rights, and informing her right to an attorney when she reached Laurentian Soil. Once that was complete, they turned off the monitor and recording devices. Viper: “That is when we get to Laurentia, so long as you are not there and trust us me, so long as we are not in Laurentia, the criminal law does not apply. In fact, no one will know you are missing, not your government, not even our government will realize you have been captured. Echo, how long do we have?” Echo: “Two hours, give or take.” Viper: “We will need to work fast then. She opened her toolkit, pulling out wires, pins, handcuffs, drills, a stapler, and other equipment, pulling Sasha back, she used the pins to pinch her hands. You know all this equipment, you’ve personally used them…we know the sick shit you’ve done…Until you tell me what I want to know, the pain will not stop, it will get so bad that you will beg for death to relive you.” Viper would use various forms of torture on Sasha until she capitulated and wrote down the names of Laurentian Government officials, Flemish Generals, and other important members of the European Governments who were involved or working with The AHM, FRA, and Scorpio. The Laurentian ATLAS air-transport arrived at the airfield, picking up the DGSE agents and Sasha traveling back to Laurentia. The Laurentian Intelligence Agency had created a cover story, that the National Guard had captured Sasha and three other Scorpio members as they attempted to cross the border between Flanders and Laurentia. An explosion would, unfortunately, kill Sasha, fourteen civilians, and several members of the National Guard. Which although true, had happened from a cross-border raid earlier that day. Fourtunate for Sasha, the DGSE was finished with her, while she awaited her faith inside a secure holding center in Lyon, Raymond has just begun his taste of pain. The DGSE would be waiting, as soon as the public show of strength was compelte, they would have their turn at Raymond and just like Sasha the DGSE would not stop until they had names and locations. The Government would plan a massive "anti-corruption" raid in the following weeks on Scorpio-sympatizer and those on Scorpio's payroll inside the Government. This would require multi-national support to capture all the government officals within a timely manner.
  3. President Korczak and the Chief of the Armed Forces prayed in solace with the Special Operators of the Special Operations Group, the men, and women of the Special Operations Group would lead the dagger into the heart of Zodiac in Europe. The Companies of Special Forces inserted just outside Perignan. The city had been for a long time an ethnic exclave of Britannia with thousands coming to Perignan in the early 2000s in spirit of a new life outside of Britannia. Growing continuously, at its height over 50,000 residents lived in Perignan before the economic recession of 2014 saw a rise in unemployment and lack of opportunity to grow. Perignan would see a mass exodus back to Britannia or other major cities in Laurentia. It became a subtle breeding ground for Zodiac. The Laurentian Armee de Terre began their encirclement of Pernigan as they stopped vehicles entering the city and stripped and searched vehicles exiting the city. The Laurentian Special Forces have been operating in Pernigan for weeks designated buildings to be destroyed by precision-guided weapons, and buildings the army would need to seize first. The Zodiac Commanding Officer of the European Front was also in Pernigan before the encirclement was complete. Four UAV’s would circle the region in the event underground tunnels were being used. At Roughly 3 AM, The Laurentian Airforce dropped small precision ordinance on buildings serving as Barracks. The Laurentian Army supported by the Special Forces seized all three armories inside the city. Without resupplies or extra fighters, the Zodiac defense would be severely crippled. Laurentia VBLs and MRAPs moved inside the city, carrying troops and evacuating civilians inside the city. The Army would by mid-morning control a quarter of the city, with Special Forces pushing from behind, two army companies on either flank an entire airborne brigade pushing the center. It was slow, but life and vehicle preserving process. The Laurentian Aircraft Carrier Korczak, accompanied by the Mediterranean Fleet would set sail for Algeria as the Laurentian Airforce engaged in a secondary bombing attack on Zodiac. This time, city markets less crowded and what government structures created by Zodiac would be targeted. The Laurentian Navy’s Victorire ships would fire railgun at the coastal defenses and the Laurentian Coast Guard would be donated frigates and destroyers to search all vessels entering the ports of Laurentia. The Airplanes would resupply in preparation for a third strike, with Laurentian Growlers preparing to track hostile Radars and destroy those as well. Submarines and Anti-Ship Weapons would join the task force as well.
  4. We wish the PRC and their people a cheerful new year and christmas and look forward to establishing full diplomatic relations in the meanwhile.
  5. In the aftermath of an E.U. military reshuffling, the first wargames of the European Armed Forces would take place in India on January first. The setting of these wargames was, "the protection of the first-ever free elections in the imaginary country of Wadiyah. With reforms in the Armed Forces such as designating English as a common lingua franca between the intertwined battlegroups. The European Armed Forces would be deploying 100,000 personnel from Laurentia, Prussia, Reubenia, Hungadada, and Scandinavia to take part in the Wargames in India On the BluFOR or the European Union Special Task Force Cayde. BLUFOR main goal was to protect the presidential candidates, support the local Republican Guard, and ensure civilian safety and ensure that no votes are fraudulent or forces. 25,000 Laurentians, 5,000 Hungadadas, 5,000 Scandinavians, 2,000 Reubenians, and 3,000 Prussians under the command of Laurentian Commander Bastion of CENTCOM. On WhiteFor, 20,000 civilians and E.U. observers would be participating as part of the exercise and as observers to ensure all parties are not cheating and of course making sure no one is injured or lost. On OPFOR, the 20,000 Reubenians and 20,000 Prussians would be opposing factions vying for control. They would be tasked with attacking civilians enters, attempting to assassinate opposition candidates, and intimidate voters into not going to the polls. The European Armed Forces Senior Spokesman said the war games had been planned and that the E.U. would be sending troops within weeks to ensure the games can start promptly on January 1st. Laurentian India has already begun preparations with fake flags, civilians, makeshift housing and voting centers being created.
  6. La Défense de la République With growing animosity, lack of diplomatic courtesy, and ever-growing tensions surrounding The Republic's border. As Chef d'État-Major des Armées, I alongside Minister Pascal, and Advisor Solé present the Defense of the Republic documents to detail a series of French Defense Projects and plans to curtail foreign aggression and re-establish French Military superiority. Bearing in mind the 193 Billion Franc budget for the 2001 fiscal year, France's Defense Bodies have collectively agreed on budget appropriations and research programs for the next year. With naval and aerial expansion underway Signed, Chef d'État-Major des Armées Maximilien Hammond The Following Documents are classified documents at the Security Clearance level of Nine. Any unauthorized access to this document will be considered treasonous and punishable by the National Security Act of 1995 and State Espionage Act of 1761. The Chef d'État-Major des Armées in good faith, announces the new military renovations and plans to the French Defense Ministry, National Assembly Commission on the Armed Forces, and the National Security Council of the President. The Strategy for the years following 2000 will see investments of 500 million francs into the Defense Complex of France. The 500 million will invest in the top defense firms of France in an effort to gain more stocks, but also raise capital for corporate defense projects and raise standards and efficiency. The French Armed Forces at roughly 495,835 and the French National Guard at roughly 941,527 will be redeveloped to see an increase of 200,000 troops in the French Armed Forces. The French Armed Forces will also develop capabilities in Aerial and Naval Combat to ensure upper mobility against foreign threats. Ground-based plans for the FÉLIN weapons system and the CheetahA1 tank will also be utmost priority for 2001. France’s Defense Strategy will see a shift from Counter-Insurgency to state-state warfare on a limited scale to ensure the stability of the French Markets and Economic Powerhouse. The French Armed Forces will see significant withdrawals from regions such as Afghanistan, Mali, and other operational areas in an effort to curb spending and reduce conflicts French troops are present in. The French Armed Forces will prepare deployments to foreign territories to develop, train, and establish relations with other armed forces and internally. There will also be a greater strive for Defense-Intelligence operations with the establishment of the Renseignement militaires six or RM6, RM6 and other intelligence branches of the French Armed Forces will serve as focal points to develop clear plans and threat assessments. Investment I. The French Defense Ministry will inject 500 million francs inside the French defense giants EADS, Dassault Aviation, DCNS, Thales Group, and GIAT Industries. II. Investments will allow French shares in vital industries and allow greater efficiency and budgets for military projects that aid the Armed Forces Military Expansion I. The Armed Forces will expand it’s current size by 200,000 personnel across the Infantry, Mechanized, Airborne, Aerial, Naval, and other sectors. II. The French Nuclear Arsenal will be renovated and decommission 30 nuclear missile silos, and replace them with mobile and air and naval delivery systems. Military Development I. Projects of 2001 - CheetahA1 [FYI just the tank] - Victoire - FÉLIN - Jordan Valley - Stimulus [No Conceptual Designs Available] - AHB Overall Strategy I. Format of the Armed Forces - With the current status of the Armed Forces being revolved around Counter-Insurgency and small-scale operations. The new Format will keep 150,000 personnel on yearly rotation, with 45,000 soldiers capable of deploying 48 hours with prior warning, and 300,000 with six-month notice. 15,000 soldiers will additionally be kept on permanent operational alert allowing them to be called up at moments notice if needed to address major crises, assist civilian authorities, and be deployed when required. - The Marine Nationale will be divided into three fleets, with the First Fleet encharge of Europe and North America, the Second Fleet responsible for Asia and Oceania, and the Third Fleet responsible for Africa and South America. The fleets will be assembled into An Aircraft Carrier, eighteen frigates, six SSN, two ambitious assault crafts, three nuclear submarines, five destroyers, two helicopters transport, and one minesweeper. To allow combat, surveillance, and rescue operations involving sea, air, and land elements. - The Airfare will regroup its combat aircrafts of both the modernized Mirage 2000-D and Rafale to allow greater mobility and combat support with a permanent seventeen squadrons on rotation with an additional ten squadrons on a yearly rotation. Each squadron will consist of over 80 aircrafts and an air-wing with 300 aircrafts. Troop withdrawals - The French Armed Forces will withdraw from Afghanistan in 2000. With the conflict dying down, and reduction in foreign involvement and greater Afghan control over its affairs. The 2,000 French troops currently in Afghanistan will withdraw within the early half of 2001. - The French Armed Forces will also see withdrawals from Mali in 2002. With the extended conflict dying down, an increase in military efficiency and lowering corruption; alongside greater Malian civilian and government safety. The 7,500 French troops and airmen currently in the Sahel will withdraw within the late half of 2001 and early half of 2002. Troop Deployments - The French Armed Forces will, however, see deployments into the Sahel, although the greater conflict has died down, an increase in military operations and small-scale special operations can be expected. - The French Armed Forces will deploy into the Wallonia and Switzerland in an effort to protect the democratic principles and the French-speaking majority in each nation. Defense-Intelligence Operations Threats to the Republic - Although greater threats and more powerful nations exist, the main threats of the Republic, democracy, and the free people are the German and Austro-Hungarian empires. They’re single-handedly the most aggressive state against France and we must develop closer relations with Hungadada and Great Britain if we are to be able to remain free from their weapons of death. Our security plans will involve Drones, Surveillance Planes, and border patrols and crossings to protect our cities and towns bordering Germany. As for Austro-Hungary, our economic warfare plans are being drafted and we can expect a long-term crippling effect on their economy should to initiate hostile intent and conflict. I. The German Empire II. The Austro-Hungarian Empire Requests 1. Force protection and land combat capabilities will benefit from the acquisition of new pieces of equipment, such as 650 new generation infantry fighting vehicles (VBCI); 25,000 individual kits for the infantry combatant (Felin); hundreds of armoured cargo vehicles protecting against bombs and landmines; a new long-range rocket taking into account the prohibition of cluster-bomb ammunition; increased responsiveness in the acquisition process via crash programs. 2. Drones for surveillance and combat drones are in great demand for air-land operations. Fighter aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles increasingly complement each other. 3. Nuclear attack submarines carrying cruise missiles are a priority. Due to their stealth and virtually unlimited range, they represent versatile strategic systems that can be used for intelligence, protection of the nuclear submarines, escort of the aircraft carrier or special operations. The White Paper sets a target of six submarines. Cruise missiles will thereafter be carried by aircraft as well as by naval assets. 4. Large amphibious ships (Mistral class) have significant amphibious, airmobile and command capabilities. Together with 18 first-line frigates, they will constitute the backbone of the Marine Nationale missions of presence and intervention. Four amphibious ships of that class should be available by 2020. 5. Detection and early warning capabilities represent one of the major innovations to be made. They are aimed at ballistic missile capabilities that could be targeted on France or Europe. They include very long range radars and geostationary satellites. France expects this programme to acquire a European dimension as soon as possible. 7. The priority given to satellites is manifest by doubling funding available for military programs (from a base of 380 M€ in 2008) and by establishing a Joint Space Command, under the authority of the Chairman of the Joint Staff. The Air Force will be tasked with the implementation and control of military space assets. 8. Cyber-war is a major concern for which the Defense Ministry develops a two-prong strategy: on the one hand, a new concept of cyber-defence, organised in depth and coordinated by a new Security of Information Systems Agency under the purview of the General Secretariat for Defence and National Security (SGDSN); on the other hand, the establishment of an offensive cyber-war capability, part of which will come under the Joint Staff and the other part will be developed within specialised services.
  7. EuroNews The European Union's Commission under the recommendation of the SoE Representative formed legislative around the recent crisis in Russia. Each European State would accept a minimum of 15,000 refugees from Russia and Eastern Europe in regards to fallout from the Walpurgis threat. The European Union's Orleans Battlegroup will deploy 500 soldiers alongside 12 million Francs in funding to E.U. states to develop refugee centers and assist the building of defenses in the Neighboring States. E.U. representatives are set to debate more issues and add onto the end of the year's legislature. More to come
  8. President Klaire Haas of the European Alliance or the Tripirate European Association commonly referred to TEA invited the Heads of State of Scandinavia and Hungadada to the planned summit in Paris. It is the distinct honor of the People of Laurentia in inviting our close allies of Hungadada and Scandinavia to Paris in the special week of coming together but also charity and kindness. 9. Inside the halls of the French National Security Council, President Korczak remained eye-weary from her trip to Riyadh to meet the Sultan of the Grand Sufi Order. As the winter colds swept the icy floors of the Chateau-Bleu, with the First Family making plans to head to their private family lodge in the Alps for the Christmas holidays. Although they were allowed to use the Government-owned Presidential Retreat, Korczak insisted on using her family lodge as it was traditional and it would use less taxpayer's money. The COS and SoG would send special operators to defend the de facto Presidential Retreat in the alps. Before President Korczak could join her family in the Alps, she had to chair the National Security Council meeting with the heads of defense, ministers of interior, defense, foreign affairs, Directors of the DGSI and DGSE, and the National Security Advisor being present. The NSC agreed to the investment plan of 52 million francs in the Regime's economy, with plans to develop apple farms in the future. French steel and energy providers were also keen to invest in the Regime's growing economy as a possibility of longterm development. The NSC supported the bill with the French Senat and was signed by President Korczak. The debate over Germany, however, was a greater issue to handle. [Minister of Defense Leo Pascal] "While we understand the budge for 2001 is already enormous with a 50 billion increase in defense spending, our current force cannot sustain the combined strength of the Austrians and Germans. With the combined strength of the Ministry of Interior's national guard [1,000,000] and the Armed Forces [680,000] would be 1/3 of our combined strength but even then it would be two times smaller than the Germanic Armed Forces. Even with the Strategic Homeland Defense, our forces would be 3.75 million strong." [Minister of Interior Toma Kozikowski] "Leo is right, our armed forces is the lowest in Europe, with the Soviets, Austrians, and Germans being far more stronger in numbers. I support the idea of raising taxes on Tobacco and Cigarettes to increase the Defense Budget to allow more research and technological innovations." [Minister of Defense Leo Pascal] "We need to see this threat a viable one if anything the negotiations over Brussels showed their willingness to use war as a threat. We need to be prepared to fight them if needed, the paper by Le Tribunal...." [Minister of Foreign Affairs Gérôme Rouzet] "Your points that Germany is a threat are valid, no one is saying the Germanic nations are not a threat. However, they are only the monsters we make them look like, while they may have used the threat of war we need to be able to call out their bluff. Yes, there may come a time when war is evident but until that point, we should not be the ones to start that conflict. The Germans are more scared of the Soviets than us, they are scared the Soviets are gonna make an attempt into mainland Europe once more, and I bet you they don't want to fight a war on two fronts." [The Conseil de Sécurité Nationale Élisée Solé] "I concur with Gérôme, there are a lot of factors. We can easily engage in economic warfare to destroy the value of the Reichsmark, we could ally with the Soviets, there are too many factors that would cause the Germans not to attack us prematurely. While I expect a conflict in the future, for the meanwhile we shall grow and see what threats arise. I propose we set aside 15 billion francs from the discretionary funding budget for the Defense Only sector and use that when and if needed." [Chef d'État-Major des Armées (CEMA) Maximilien Hammond] "I believe our debate about Germany can come to a close, we should accept the Proposal by Élisée and revisit the topic back in January. Let us enjoy this Christmas holiday in good spirit and as good Christians believe in the protection of the lord almighty and that he will protect us on this blessed week." [President of the Republic Lidia Korczak] "Very well, I think we can adjourn this meeting. My ruling on Operation Serpent is a no, we will not even discuss such options. I agree to set aside 15 billion francs for the next fiscal year in the event the defense budget needs it. I wish you all a splendid Christmas, and I look forward to pictures from all of you, that's a Presidential order." They all laughed. President Korczak packed her belongings before heading to the Presidental Helicopter to head to the Alps.
  10. le Tribune is a French newspaper originating in the early 19th century as an outlet to criticize the government and global affairs. Although some call their reporting exaggeration or provocative, others call it the truth and what people don't want to hear. La Tribune was banned from Government Press Releases in 1902 until 1984 when the Assembly Nation allowed them to be apart of Government Press Releases. The German Army occupies Dutch-Speaking Wallonia As peace between France and Germany was an utmost priority, it was no surprise the rumors of French Paratroopers dropping into Southern Belgium to safeguard the Frankish and French-speaking region after the Netherlands would be captured by German Troops. Although sources say the Germany Leader assured France he had no interest in Wallonia, there is a great amount of distrust between both parties. The French Government sent military aid to the Wallonian Police force to further create a buffer between France and Germany, with sources inside the French Defense Ministry saying that the Military aid has been successful in the development of the Belgium Armed Forces and their new capital in Liége under French control. Domestically President Korczak's ratings in recent public polls soared. The United France Party even endorsed The President's operations to "Deter the German Beast." While French Diplomats said, "the move was to create peace and foster binational relations." To Further French commitments to the New Belgian Government, Foreign Minister Gérôme Rouzet announced the Rouzet Plan to help develop the Belgian economy and make remarkable growth with the Liége Megacity Project, Liége Tower, and other architectural projects. Diplomatic outreaches The Minister Rouzet and President Korczak signed the opening of their newest Embassies in the Regime, Riyadh, Moscow, Berlin, Washington D.C. and Vienna. 11. "Since the start of 2000, France has seen exponential growth in technology and defense. Our nation has seen great strides in innovation and civil development, the megacity projects in Liége and Geneva are testaments to our strength and development. Under the leadership of the UMP, France is seeing a recovery from economic hardship and distraught. As the night sets on France, it will reawaken to a new dawn. A day of joy and love, a day which will go down in history as the resurgence of the French people, their culture, and their honor. Across the seas, we discover new nations to establish relations with, on principals of mutual respect and cooperation has set a principle of diplomacy for all states. We express a keen interest in the Confederate States of America and the Grand Sufi Order to be nations which France will establish close relations for both trade and friendship spanning the course of history and time. Across France, our development projects from Megacities to new railways and roads to connect the various regions of France is a pre-requisite for our role as a leader of Europe. Reforms amongst our armed forces are also underway, for the new challenges we shall face will require we be able to challenge them and protect our people. Our rights as humans will not and shall not be trampled with by any power, foreign or domestic. Viva La France, Viva la République! [Translated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs]

Head of the executive branch, The President entertains foreign visitors, dignitaries, host foreign leaders, and visit other nations. The President has to sign legislature for it to become law and can suspend the Assemblée Nationale. • The Assemblée Nationale is the legislative body of the Republic. The Senat acts as the upper house of the French Legislative Body, however, does not have any law passing rights. This was caused by a popular referendum in 1992 which redesigned the French Political Landscape. The Assemblée Nationale has 557 members, and the Senat has 170 members. The Assemblée Nationale can draft bills and comment and redesign laws from the Senat. The Senat however, as an “unelected” body, ratifies Foreign Treaties, Can hold hearings on the Government, inquiry on the spending of the Government, and acts as an independent oversight of the Republic. Collectively they are called the of the Congress of French Parliament. • Each state has their own Assemblée Nationale, which can also pass laws. The Governors implement these laws (which are still reviewed by the High Courts and President). Each state has a State Police to administer the law, the issue edicts and are responsible for the safety and lawfulness of their regions. Mayors follow laws passed by the State Assemblée Nationale, and respond to edicts and run their cities. They meet in Regional Councils every 2 weeks with their respective Governor to discuss state affairs and matters as a collective body. The People vote every 5 years for a President in 2 round popular elections. The President must win at least 50% of the vote, if not a second round is held between the top two contenders. The Prime Minister is elected by the Assemblée Nationale, usually from the Majority in the Assemblée Nationale. The People also vote for Mayors every 2 years, Governors every 4 years. The Mayors and Governors as well as other members of government vote for their region's members of senators, thus forming the Senat. The Lower Assemblée Nationale has all legislature power, allowing it greater influence on politics. The Upper Senat, however, handles a majority of approvals, inquires, and investigations as they are the unelected body of Parliament. The President replaces a fallen or retired Justice, and all Justices are appointed by the Minister of Justice and Senat Judiciary Committee. The Assemblée Nationale is elected by a popular vote with each Party getting the percentage of their votes in seats. In Municipals, a 50% majority is required to be elected, if no clear winner is declared then a second round is held between the top 2 candidates. Each region (14) have 12 senators. In 1992, a referendum which limited the power of the Senate and added 2 new senators to represent the special districts of Paris and Bordeaux. The Prime Minister is head of Government and runs the legislative agenda of the President. The Prime Minister pushes the agenda of the President. The President is Head of State and is Chief Diplomat and Chief of the Armed Forces. The Cabinet is selected by the President at the request of the Prime Minister, while Cabinet meetings are run by the Prime Minister and supervised by the President. The President resides in the Chateau-Bleu, and the Bureau du Diamant or Diamond Office is the official office of the President. The Prime Minister resides in septième rue Rideau with the Bureau de la lavande as the official office of the Prime Minister. Supreme Court of the Republic The Supreme Court of the Republic is the highest Court in France. Composed of Seven judges, they address concerns and issues brought by the Public. They also reaffirm the constitutional respect of laws passed by the National Assembly. The Government also puts people in Secondary jobs [construction, mining, forestry, etc] on the top of lists for Government Programs, and have access to top quality education free of charge. In modern trends, people in Secondary Sector jobs have decreased to roughly 5% of the total labor force. 16. Not losing my shit, I am pointing out something to you. Stop thinking about land right now, for all you know there will be another U.S there or someone will invade you. Don't make RP about land only, so before you go about someone losing their shit perhaps you should reconsider and think A CONSTRUCTIVE manner to find a solution or foster a better RP.
  17. Colonies can only be established one month after you have joined the map. If you joined March 31st, you must wait till April 31st to begin a colony. You are capped at a four province expansion per month, remember expansion must be RP’ed and you can face challenges through conflict or local insurgency. You are, however, not allowed to expand during the same month you were added. You are entitled to move four provinces to another location per month, however, peace treaties through wars may be allowed to exceed that. You must make an RP post within three days of joining, if you do not you will not be added to the map. You are required to post once a month to be kept on the map. Continuous removal will result in a permanent removal. If you wish to take a break or haveirl issues, please let someone know and you can be exempt. You must create a developed paragraph for your RP post to be considered valid. Anything less will not be accepted for your monthly posts. **Colonies** Colonies are capped at 20 provinces in each colony; with there only being five in total. Any territory outside of your homeland is considered a colony, overseas territory, etc… Coloniesaresesptible to rebellion if they are not developed, assimilated, etc… If you are using colonies for resources only you gain more resources, but also cause more instability. Colonies should be developed with governors, policies, etc…as you would a nation. Colonization takes effort and time, so please use them realistically. Colonies can rebel, but the more effort put in the less likely they are to rebel. Other players can interfere with the colonies and incite rebellion etc… It is your task to counter such rebellions through force or through soft power. The U.N. SC is made up of 5 Permanent Members; Hunter, Mogar, Barry, Lelouch, and one more yet to be decided. With 2 non-Permanent members rotating. The U.N. SC can pass resolutions all UN states must follow, The U.N. SC can sanction nations having effects on their economies The U.N. SC can declare war on foreign states for breaching U.N. laws The U.N. General Assembly is made up of all nations and requires a slim majority to pass and all resolutions. The U.N. votes for the two non-permanent members of the U.N. Security Council.
  18. Dude, stop thinking about land. You aren't here to get land, you are here to be constructive in the process of NATRP. Not to get territory, you should be invested in beyond the land. In the Organic RP if that is open by all means take it, but don't use this space to make claims which doesn't help anything.
  19. I think Y'all are missing the point, the rules are meant to be constructed with all input. If people not on the map for explicit reasons, i.e they feel the community is not welcoming, their lore is inapplicable, etc... have solutions or ideas to help the RP we should hear them out. There is no need to argue about Mayor. While I think if something you want is owned, you should find a new thing to do, that is a personal choice and one I think not any want to do. While it doesn't make sense for non-Americans to vote in American elections, foreign nations often voice opinions or non-Americans can voice their opinions as well. Or Mayor can go full Russia mode and hack the election
  20. The Commander's use of radar systems would catch the attention of the Growlers. Flying in attack formation, the Planes fired missiles at the Radar station and Communication Tower. Utilizing the Special Forces on the ground and radio frequencies, American planes dropped their payload on their targets. The AAV's and troops began to push up as the LAV's and rear vanguard held the beaches which so far came under no enemy fire. Coming under fire, the American Marines hid behind the armored AAV's as they fired suppressing rounds at the defenders. The American Abrams on the beaches held a formation in an attempt to not be singled out and attacked, as well as protecting the LAV's whos armored would be destroyed by the Alexmian Tanks. The American First Lt. ordered his men to push the beaches slowly with suppressive fire from the tanks, LAV's and AAV's as the defenders were pounded with heavy ordinance and .50 calibers.
  21. [A FRIENDLY STATEMENT: This is in no way shape or form meant to be a war or a red flag attack from the U.S. in this RP but rather a mock war between The United States and Alexmia for some educational purposes and for some fun.] The United States Marine Corp had prepared their long-awaited turning point for the war. On the eve of December’s moonless night, American Marines departed the FS Laurens, an amphibious assault craft off the coast fo Saint Jefferson. The Island, although strategically vital to America’s operations to remain in a position of power in the upcoming conflict, was also a symbolic war to regain the lost islands of America. 2,500 marines would climb into AAV’s, LAVs, Landing Crafts, and Helicopters as the F-18 Superhornets and Growlers paroled the skies for enemy contacts. The lightly defended. The Growlers were equipped with SEAD missiles, any sites using active radar would be detected and hit by the Growlers, with the F-18’s carrying assorted amount of ordinance from Air to Air Missiles, Air to Ground Missiles, and Air to Sea Missiles. On board the American Fleet, three submarines remained at low depths to monitor the seas for any naval reinforcements or patrols. On the waves, the American AAC was readying its helicopters armed with Air to Sea missiles to sink destroyers and other reinforcements from the Sea. American AAV’s and LAVs would spearhead the landing, forming a V-shaped formation as they charged the main beaches of the island. Not that far behind them landing crafts with tanks and armored humvees trecked behind. As the defenders were not suspecting this attack, the AAV’s quickly landed and dropped off the Marines. Some of the AAV’s remained to provide suppressive support as the other AAV’s returned and the LAVs moved to the shore. On the opposite end, American Special Operators from the JSOC infiltrated the island to provide flanking attacks and sabotage aerial radars and communications. While the comms would be spotty, the ability to message the homeland for aid would hinder the American efforts in the islands.
  22. The RP has not been in use since they all left, in the same regards why would you come in and try to change the rules of NATRP and try to implement new rules that suit your own needs? I think we need to realize that this RP has not been in use for a long time, and the main goal of Organic RP was the created for almost the exact same reasons you and some others have been arguing about for months. Consent Free RP, which has been a main focal point. By moving the RP here you accept that, implement new rules that were what most people wanted in a new RP and craft the rules as we see fit. The rules above are a new shift and can be altered as we see fit. For reference
  23. https://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/21921-rules-for-organic-rp/ [My proposed rules] Ban colonizing more territory on map. I personally think Colonization should be allowed, it creates a network of RP and allows sustainable possibilities in RP. Where I think Colonization falls short is actual colonization, pixel-hugging is the current status of colonization. Colonies should be role-played as territory that is beyond the homeland of central location of a state. I.e if I am France, anything outside of France/Europe is considered my colony or whatever terminology. Colonies contain different ethnic groups, linguistics, cultures, and peoples. I think colonies should have happiness levels, have loyalty levels, and resource/population benefits. I.e if I own India, I can reap the benefits of natural resources, but must develop India to create closer relations between the homeland and India. Early on, Colonies should be much more seseptible to rebellions and other mal practices while the longer a colony is on development the more closer it gets and more loyal it gets. UN The UN SC on Organic RP would player-lead like NATRP, THE UN SC is a body of select states that basically operate as the UN of today. The UN SC votes on issues, debates them, and intervenes on them. I.e if Japan attacks France for basically being France the UN SC would intervene, on the flip the UN would remain neutral if a valid CB is provides like France colonizing Koyoto or so. Indeed this is a big step, however I believe should establish clear rules that give people the tools and let them out into a sandbox to play around. I think moving the map and RP to Organic RP opens a lot of space, keeps both sides of players content and no one has to leave because they don’t have time or energy for a more hardcore RP.
  24. Personally, I believe NATRP should remain the same. The RP has been a place for casual and laidback RP, a sandbox for individual states to RP their fantasies free of intervention, a statement I think is core to NATRP. Instead, I believe that we should create a new RP in Organic RP section for a new and more hardcore Role-play. Below are some rules I crafted, and took from the NATRP/Sub-Forum rules. Feel free to add on, and perhaps add something regarding the map, colonization, and anything I may have left out. Sub-Forum Rules: • All standard forum rules apply, click here for the standard forum rules. • Impersonation of other alliances or players or their likenesses is simply not tolerated. • You are expected to maintain a positive attitude in this community - disrespect to other players is a rule violation. Organic RP Guidelines • Players should RP their development and relations in constructive and developing posts. • You must make posts that articulate your nation’s current policies, stances, and other canon ideals you wish to be known. • You are not allowed to take control of other nations, their leaders, or their role-play under any circumstance. • You are expected to follow the guidelines and rules implemented by the United Nations Security Council. • Your nation can come under attack from foreign states, terrorists, and other groups as other members of the community are free to engage with your state. • Your Armed Forces are based on the number of provinces under your control. Soldiers Tanks Airplanes Ships Provinces/Coastal Provinces 5 Barracks 5 Factories 3 Hangars 1 Shipyard *can only be built on coastal provinces Size 10,000 Soldiers per Barracks 200 vehicles per Factory 60 aerial vehicles per Hangar 5 ships per shipyard. • You must however develop and RP the creation or expansion of your armed forces. You may only use the amount provided for your total forces. For example, if The Republic of Wadiya has 20 provinces, they may only have one million active soldiers, 20,000 military grade vehicles, 3,600 aerial vehicles, and if they only have 5 coastal provinces they may only have 25 naval ships at any given time. • Anything that is not RP’d will be considered non-canon and can not be considered in Role-Play. National RP Posting Etiquette 1.) You are expected to remain within reasonable time and creation. Cities, economies, armed forces, and relations are not built overnight. Spend time developing and RPing events in your nation. For example: One day you are building an entirely new city, and then the next day you post that you have the most advanced city with the biggest tourism sector in the globe. This isn't to say that you cannot develop your nation, this is just saying that you actually have to RP the transition and growth of your nation to make it fair for the rest of the RP community. All lore should be posted, so that you know what people are using and you can find similarities amongst yourselves and create new relations on common relations. 2.) You have the option to allow or disallow OOC/IC chatter in your thread. This means that should you make a post, you can allow the discussion in another thread. You simply post in your opening of your post that a new thread will be created for discussion. When you create a new thread for the OOC discussions you will use the same topic, but just add a tag like [OOC] or [OOC Discussion] - then in the opening of that new thread, you just link the community to your IC topic for ease-of-access. This system allows for a cleaner RP for everyone. You also have the option to carry on your IC discussion through other platforms like IRC (if you're ancient), Discord, Skype, etc… 3.) This is Organic RP, not some flimsy unrelated posting. Players of this community are expected to put more effort than just a few random words in an post. This is a role playing community, where you role play your nation and your nation's life story. In order for a proper dialogue to develop, players in this community must put in a little effort. For Example: Sofia is a National RP member. She has a modern nation and she plays within the lore of Modern Day Bulgaria. This is her post this evening: Quote "President Sofia of the Bulgaria won today's election at 53% of the national vote." Nobody replied to her post and it got lost in the topic view. Why? Because she used this time to create a status update instead of giving the community something to build off. There is no creativity and there is no effort. They key here is to just provide a little more effort with your story and with replying to other player's stories. President Sofia in a slim victory triumphed over her opponent, Igor Karkorv and his ultra-nationalist right wing Peoples Liberation Party in a historic election. President Sofia spoke at her party headquarters reigning today as the day the Bulgarian people chose their identity over the darkness in Bulgaria. “Today is a new day, a new dawn, and a new start for the people of Bulgaria. We will remain upright in our determination against Whadiya, in ensuring a green and eco-friendly europe, and a closer relationship with the United States.” This gives players a way to interject, congratulate, and condemn the election with a lot more detail and information. Giving the introduction to the PLP, Igor Karkov, and issues Bulgaria is facing from Whadiya to being closer friends with other states. 4.) You are not God almighty and you are not the leader of the world. You are not invincible, you don't have the greatest weapons, cities, soldiers, and leaders. of You can't destroy nations at the stroke of a button. [Even launching a nuclear weapon doesn’t destroy a nation.] You can't take over the world one handed, You can't decide to just take over airspace, bodies of water, or land that doesn't belong to you without facing repercussions. You are Roleplaying in a consent-free role-play and such you must respect the rules. You are not god and you alone can not dictate the rules of NATRP. Because Organic RP is consent free, and the U.N. Security Council acts as the prime body of international policies and relations, a lot of creative RP can happen and be continued. Through respect you can achieve a great ordeal. National RP Moderation It is to be understood that Moderation has the final say in regards to reports made or any rule violation. It should also be understood that select moderators are put in charge to oversee this RP Community. These moderators have put in time and effort to help rectify issues and will continue to work with the community and assist the community with whatever is needed to help the RP Community run smoothly and continue to be a source of entertainment. That being said, each member of this community most Read & Understand these rules as they have been provided to you. Any post in this community is an assumption that you have read & understood each rule - therefore - should you post something that is a violation to these rules Moderation will point you right back to this thread. A violation is a violation. Thank you and enjoy Politics & War National Role Play!
