  1. Moving two provinces from Russia to Mongolia, and expanding into the rest of Mongolia. https://s17.postimg.org/wqf9ih6cd/Organic_RP_Map.png
  2. "Good morning, everyone. My name is Ange Ushiromiya, a member of the Witch Council. I'm here on RNN this morning speaking for the rest of the Council regarding the latest events in East Asia. We've seen the unreasonable aggressive actions taken by the Chinese against Salazarstan not even twenty-four hours into the nation's formation. Now, while Rokkenjima and Salazarstan may not see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, there is one thing we both have in common - an equal hatred of Communism and the current Chinese regime. Just last month, the Witch Council and the government of China worked out an agreement regarding the status of Mongolia, in an attempt to deescalate tensions in the region. It is clear to us now that that was a mistake. The People's Republic of China seems to only create tension, and will immediately resort to military force if even the slightest thing does not go its way. Children have no place on the world stage, and should be punished when they misbehave. Now, I could go into the issue of the United Nations once again not doing enough to prevent these types of issues, but I'll leave that for another day. To conclude my little speech, I will hereby state that as of today, the agreement between Rokkenjima and the People's Republic of China regarding the status of Mongolia has been cancelled. Rokkenjima will once again be annexing the country in an attempt to safeguard its people from the childish regime directly south of its borders. Thank you for your time." - Ange Ushiromiya
  3. Gamindustri... Here in this reality shift realm are four presiding CPUs (Console Patron Unit). Each reside in Celestia, a world separate from the Land they oversee. CPU Black Heart, and her "Land of Black Regality - Lastation." CPU White Heart, and her "Land of White Serenity - Lowee." CPU Green Heart, and her "Land of Green Pastures - Leanbox." CPU Purple Heart, and her "Land of Purple Progress - Planeptune." Here, the CPUs fight endlessly in battle for rule over Gamindustri. This battle is etched in history. This is the Console War... Map of Gamindustri: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Such stubbornness... Why don't you just surrender?" Black Heart's and Purple Heart's eyes met, the latter of which exhaling tiredly. "Nonsense. We've been fighting for hundreds of years. Why quit now?" White Heart interrupted, speaking with a defiant tone of voice. "That's my line! I won't let any of you claim the title of True Goddess!" Green Heart sighed, wearing a tired expression. "How much longer must we continue with this pointless fighting?" "Then do us a favor and just die!" White Heart shouted back, lunging at her. The attack was easily blocked as Green Heart spoke again. "Such raucous manners. I have matters of destiny to fulfill, unlike you..." White Heart became visibly pissed off. "Shut it! I can't stand the way you talk all high and mighty, Thunder Tits!" Green Heart spoke with both an amused and serious expression. "Breasts are symbolic of maturity and fertility - qualities of a goddess. With such logic, it can be said you are the least...fitting." "Tsk...All that crap talking out your ass. I'll kill you!" As their little quarrel continued, Black Heart lunged at them both. "Got you!" While the attack caught both of them off guard, they managed to block it just in time. "Wha-?!" "Dammit... That was close!" Black Heart let out a genuine laugh. "It's your fault for idly babbling in the midst of battle!" Green Heart sighed once more, getting back on topic. "Really, how much longer must this sterile battle continue?" Just then, a mysterious voice could be heard, seemingly coming from nowhere. "Well then, why not get rid of one of you?" "True... That could be the change we've been searching for." Green Heart replied. Black Heart agreed. "Not a bad idea." Purple Heart looked at them, a confused expression on her face. "What are you all talking about?" White Heart ignored her. "So who's the sad one to be ousted?" The mysterious voice spoke again. "I suggest... Purple Heart...Neptune." Green Heart nodded. "It would be difficult to remove her later, so I can agree to that." White Heart smiled. "Yeah, I'm fine with that." Purple Heart pushed her question once more. "Who are you three talking to?" Black Heart's gaze turned to her. She let out another laugh. "It's settled then. So sorry." Purple Heart became more distressed. "What?! What are you all talking about?!" And thus, the battle resumed. Black Heart was the first to strike, clashing blades with Purple Heart. The attack was blocked easily, pushing Black Heart back. It was now White Heart's turn. She lunged forward, swinging her blade. Purple Heart took to the air, avoiding it. White Heart turned around, attacking again and again. However, Purple Heart was too fast, avoiding each attack and landing a hit of her own. The other two then lunged forward at once. They all went at her, but Purple Heart dodged with ease, knocking them all back. They continued to clash, with Purple Heart managing to hold her own. White Heart took advantage of the distraction provided by the other two, knocking Purple Heart's blade away from her. She propelled herself upward, trying to grab it, but it was slashed away by Green Heart. At that moment Black Heart lunged forward for a final attack. At last, Purple Heart was defeated. She plunged downward to the ground far below, falling unconscious as her form reverted...
  4. Can you do the same for the reference list too, please? Also, thanks. https://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/22804-national-roleplay-reference-list/
  5. This is a compiled list of source material that is being referenced by players in their roleplay. This will serve as an easy way for both new players and experienced players to view existing references (be they from television shows, video games, anime, etc.) and be aware of what they can and cannot use in their own roleplay. Note that just because something may be referenced, it doesn't mean that necessarily everything from that source is being referenced. If you see something on this list that you want to include in your own roleplay, but it is taken by another player, be sure to contact them about it. You can always work something out. Current List (last updated 3/30/18): Leader name: CPU Purple Heart, CPU Black Heart, CPU White Heart, CPU Green Heart Nation name: Gamindustri Sources: Hyperdimension Neptunia Leader name: Alexios VII Katasaros Nation name: Eastern Roman Empire Sources: XCOM 2 *This list is strictly for non-original entries. Original ideas, characters, etc. will not be added.* *If you don't see yourself on here, please comment with your leader name, nation name, and list of sources so you may be added.*
  6. Nation name: Gamindustri Population (may use in-game numbers): 305,971,514 Population density (may use in-game numbers): ~100 people per mi2 Official currency: Credits GDP (may use in-game numbers): $1.5 trillion GDP per capita (may use in-game numbers): $67,800 Form of government: Disputed Describe your nation: Gamindustri, as it is collectively known, is comprised of four smaller nations, each one fighting amongst each other for complete control. Politics & War Wikia link (leave blank if you don’t have one): Have you read, and agree to abide by the rules of the map/subforum? (Yes/No): Yes Where on the map do you wish to be located? (Using real-world geography, or a self-provided map): https://i.imgur.com/w3UkL3V.png Nation flag link (if you have a specific one you wish to use): (Map-wise, you're limited to a maximum of 75 provinces. If you go higher than that, I'll personally adjust it down until it's at 75, or ask you to re-do your own example until it fits within the 75 province limit. Note that expansion is allowed, but at a maximum of four provinces per month as to be as realistic as possible. This rule applies to nations under 75 provinces as well. Nations are permitted to own colonies, but at a maximum of 5 with no more than 20 provinces each. Separate colonies are unable to be conjoined. Gifted land is also capped at four provinces per month. This includes land gained by a nation as a result of a war as well.) (You are required to post at least once a month in the national affairs subforum to remain active. This means creating your own topic, not just commenting on your own, or someone else's posts. Inactive nations will be removed from the map.)
  7. For those who wish to become a part of the roleplaying community here in the National Affairs subforum, this is the thread in which you should apply. Current Map (Updated as of 5/20/18) Are you a new member to P&W, looking to try out some roleplaying? Or are you already a seasoned roleplayer, looking to develop his/her skills in roleplaying? Well, all I can say is that with this post, I hope to establish a friendly, low-drama roleplaying environment for those among us who have an interest in roleplaying out our nation's actions. Whether you're an experienced roleplayer, or completely new and inexperienced to roleplaying, allow me to say that I'll do my best as your OP to be friendly and accepting of every type of roleplayer. High-quality roleplay and constructive world-building are encouraged. For in-depth roleplay (multiple paragraphs, extensive posts), you may make your posts and threads here. For more natural roleplay with less restrictions, you may make your posts and threads here. For more casual roleplay, the National Affairs subforum itself should do. (Just remember that while this is a casual environment, the subforum will still be moderated, as it is meant for in-character posts and interactions. Additionally, signing up here isn't a requirement to use the subforum.) (Note of interest: Several members of our roleplaying community have based their nations and/or leaders upon those inspired from anime and other fictional sources. This is perfectly acceptable so long as your roleplay is constructive and well-intentioned. However, this style of roleplay does not give you an advantage in terms of wars, or anything. Similarly, you cannot use it as an excuse to develop incredibly advanced technology in short periods of time, as it is unfair for those who put much time and effort into their roleplay. You're free to be as creative as you like, so long as it is within the rules. This is to avoid Godmodding and overpowered posts.) Interested in joining? Don’t be shy, and fill out the application below. *Before applying, be sure to read the rules of the National Affairs subforum, and the map itself, here.* If you have any questions, feel free to contact me on the forums or on Discord (Eva-Beatrice#0471). 8. The new map thread will be posted on Friday, March 30th at midnight Eastern Time.
  9. To get this moving along, any suggestions on who should post the new map thread and who the map team will consist of?
  10. Could say that the new thread will be posted on a certain day at a certain time and it’s first come, first serve.
  11. With eight votes for yes, and six votes for no (from those within the NatRP community) after forty-eight hours, the final result is that the map will be reset. With that out of the way, it's time to discuss suggestions and changes. I'm under the impression that what I proposed above should be put into place.
  12. It would also help for the original poster of the map thread and other various threads to be active daily as to keep things up to date.
  13. That really depends on what each player wants to do. Not everyone shares statistics on their nations.
  14. I'd like to suggest resetting the National Roleplay map and starting fresh. I'll try my best to explain the advantages to resetting if those reading would actually hear me out. There's no question that the map is currently littered with inactives, who frankly, don't seem to have any intention on returning. A reset would clear the map of inactive nations and allow for more new players to join. The numerous colonies currently on the map would be cleared, cleaning up some of the border gore. This would also ensure nations are on an equal playing field territory-wise to start. Players who aren't in favor of a reset are still able to use the National Roleplay subforum. Joining the map isn't a requirement to post in the subforum. On top of that, I have some suggestions for a possible reset. Raise the starting cap to 75 provinces to match Organic. This could go higher or lower, but a greater amount than 50 would help to compensate those who have been around for a long time now. Bring back the map team. Having a group of players, not moderators, who are actively involved in the roleplay to make unbiased decisions on any map issues that may arise would be beneficial. Members could, of course, change depending on activity. Bring over the system that is currently in-place in Organic that states what a nation's maximum military capabilities are. This would ensure that while nations may be protected by the consent rule, and could basically remain in their own little worlds, that there are still restrictions on what they're able to do. Clarify that only topic posts count towards a player's one post per month requirement. Replies to others' posts or one's own post do not. Topic posts are much easier for the map maker to find when searching for inactives. That's all I have for now. If anyone has any other thoughts or suggestions, please comment them. I want this to be something that the players themselves comment on. This choice isn't something that's up to forum moderators.

  21. This is a brief notice from the Witch Council that Rokkenjima has withdrawn its military forces from western Mongolia as per the agreement that was made with the People's Republic of China. By the first of next month, Rokkenjima will have completely withdrawn from the country, officially granting Mongolia its independence following the withdrawal from Ulaanbaatar. Rokkenjima will be providing assistance to Mongolian citizens who wish to relocate during the withdrawal process. A portion of Rokkenjima's military that was stationed in Mongolia will remain in Russia, with another portion relocating to Manchuria, ready to come to the defense of Mongolia should it be deemed necessary. With this agreement being made, Rokkenjima has turned its attention to South Vietnam as the tension in Mongolia has begun to settle.
