I didn't claim they were American produced: I said they were American weapons, as in America supplied them to the Peshmerga. There is no confirmation of anything being retaken by the Peshmerga soldiers who fled at first sign of trouble, and those weapons don't appear to be sabotaged or bombed. Give it a rest.

We know this is either false or at least an exaggeration for two reasons: IS makes heavy use of artillery fire, Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devises (VBIED's), and small unit tactics. The only sources reporting this are Kurdish (who usually aren't the most trustworthy sources in the first place) and have not yet been confirmed by others. If I get confirmation on this, I will make a post.
