  1. Ah, yeah, I mis-read it. So you'll start with 7 MAP instead of the 6, no matter what. Still pretty powerful. I'd prefer the +1 Offensive Slot to be a -1 Defensive Slot - would make it much more worthwhile, but it does need to be a more difficult perk to reach.
  2. That requires lots of coordination. Goodluck with that. Plus, as I see it, 99 Percent hasn't done anything to Mensa HQ or Dio, so we cool.
  3. I look at it as meaning you get +1 MAP for every war you're in. So if you open up 3 fronts, that's +3 to your starting MAP ( Instead of 6, you'll start with 9 ). Just by having one war opened, you'll start with 7 - and that's before declaring war ahead of a ending day tick. Granted the +1 Offensive Slot will only help if you open up all your Offensive Slots to get as much of a +1 MAP per War bonus as possible. Dedicated Raiders will have a field day with this combo, if I speculate it correctly.
  4. Now that I think about it, the extra Offensive Slot AND the +1 MAP per War would be a very broken perk combination.
  5. For a Military build - I'd go with Units cost 10% less, Upkeep -25%, Recruit 25% more per day on the Military Perks. 5% Combat Value, 1 extra MAP per War on the War Perks. Build a New City/Project every 9 days, 1 Free Improvement Slot per City in the Development Perks. And the 8th perk could float around. My line of thinking is that unless you're a 24/7 raider on farms/inactives, then the extra Offensive War slot would be near worthless. The 20% extra loot will also be very limited, considering you could potentially just not get anything at all ( Or very little to make any use of the increased percentage ). The extra Spy per day I'd assume will be for higher scoring tier nations. Not a terrible perk, but not one I'd go "OMG MUST HAVE".
  6. Thank you! I'm getting the hang of things, although I'm still looking at optimal builds. I see that no matter the score you have, you can contribute to something in the game ( Like how the 99 percent alliance is staying small to raid lower score players while avoiding higher score players, not a bad idea ). I do want to visit Germany. Thank you!

  9. 16 hour drive?! I don't know if I could do that in a day. 12 hours was pushing it for me.
  10. How do alliances protect you? Or is it just by affiliation and fear of retaliation?
  11. I hear you on that. The one state I hate driving through is Alabama. I'm not a fan of 55mph speed limits on the highway/interstates. How long of a drive did you have? The furthest I've driven in one day is 12 hours.

  13. Going pretty good, how about yourself? Yeah, it was a long time ago when I played Utopia. I think it was around the 2nd to 7th ages if I remember? I do know they had another game on that website that seemed awfully similar to this one, hence why I'm trying this out. What should I expect once my protection wears off? Getting gang-banged by several new player bashers or what?

  15. I'm new, but I was asked a question by some folks interested in playing. They wanted to focus on the econ parts of this game, which seems pretty simple if you ask me, but if someone was to focus straight up economy ( No military ); they'd most likely get farmed quite a bit by more aggressive players, right? So, could a person just building straight up resource gathering/production defend themselves with enough Soldiers? Or would they need to focus on obtaining Ships/Planes/Tanks too?
  16. Hello all, new guy here. Just starting around. Use to play some past browser games and this one reminded me of one that was similar to Utopia ( Is that the right one I'm thinking? ). Looks great so far.
