I had some ideas for space stuffs today. Space launch project, requires missile project, allows you to build satellites, which you can have up to five Reconnaissance satellite: increases spy efficiency, missile damage and airstrike damage Telecommunications satellite: increases commerce rate in all cities Weather satellite: increases crop yields and reduces pollution and disease (weather satellites monitor pollution patterns to better manage air pollution, also people can better prepare for natural disasters so they die less often) Killer satellite: Intercepts enemy satellites or nuclear missiles in space

Maybe to get the full benefit you need to be attacked as well?

They don't have to pay the immense cost of rebuilding their shattered nations after a war, and if they are attacked for some reason, this also benefits those attacked

I think there should be a complacency factor where the longer you have gone without declaring war, the lower your national tax rate goes. Citizens rally around the flag in times of war and accept higher "victory taxes" which stay that high after the war is over, but slowly over time people see prolonged periods of peace as a time to collect a "peace dividend" of lower taxes. Tax percentage should be 100% higher than normal when you are at war, and slowly degrade over 800 turns to about 50% lower than normal, basically starting at a 60% tax rate degrading to a 20% tax rate, every turn of peace, citizens get a tax cut of 0.05%. At war, every attack you either receive or inflict boosts your tax rate by 5% as citizens rally to the war effort and tax cuts don't occur while you're at war.

Well you obviously missed something because all that stuff didn't end up back in the FSA bank Those millions of dollars and thousands of tons of steel and aluminum and etc has been used by Byron's multi to fight us instead

Ok seeing how he doesn't have any ships and I can't get any ships, how am I supposed to lift this blockade?

It makes sense that nations not on the alliance color can't be taxed

I am only at war with the guy who now has 0 ships, so this is clearly a bug

I broke a blockade of my nation with my airforce but even though my opponent has no ships it still says I'm blockaded

I enjoyed this edition though this must have gone to press before the Apartheid War could be reported on, such is life in longform articles.

Upon establishing our gallant crew's headquarters we set up kip in Muqdisho. While the capital served wonderfully well, we found that Muqdisho was already settled by Soomaaliya and Captain Nao. While he was perfectly willing to share Muqdisho and helped us on our way, we recongize that two Somalia/Soomaaliya's could be confusing, so we boarded our ships and sailed up the Shabeele to our ancestral homeland of Qalaafo in the Ogaden, establishing the Buccaneer Republic of Ogaden. It's a bit longer commute down to the Indian Ocean, but I think it fits a little better and the rolling plateau is pretty ballin'.

I read your post and this formula is completely different from the one posted in the announcements subforum, the only post I could find about color stock o_O It does follow a bit more closely with ingame stock bonuses though red is getting a bonus for no apparent reason.
