  1. There would also be a limit on how much troops they can bring in total, so not just like 100k soldiers but 100k military units in total. The numbers aren't set in stone but it would go something like that. I also like @Nukey6 idea about using war slots, that would mean it wouldn't be just whoever had more troops, but also strategic planning involved unlike the current system.
  2. Alliance militaries would be a mechanic to help defensive nations in a war. It would allow them to gather soldiers from other nations in their alliance, but only if the nation agreed to it. There would also be a maximum amount of troops you could get from other nations. This would be more true to life because in pnw, you have to blitz someone with 3 wars to get a true counter. But in real life, such as in the Korean War, the UN brought troops from different countries that did not necessarily declare war on their own, but with the United Nations. In order for it to not be overpowered, there would be a certain limit on the amount of troops, and the troops would be put back in each nation after the war is over, but some of them might not go back to the original nation because they were killed in fighting. This mechanic would only be able to apply to the nation on the defensive side in alliances. What do all of you think? I would love to hear from you, and I accept any criticism on this topic.
  3. Ah, I see, never knew that, thanks for the information!
  4. Hmm, I like that idea. I didn't have a name for it before (lol) that was good, so I went with this one. Perhaps Orbis Health Organization? Idk what do you think about that one?
  5. Ok, I have been running some ROI numbers, and it appears it wouldn't be worth it, and wouldn't do that much in terms of war effects. Besides, there are much more important things that need to be added to this game. ( @BelgiumFury and @Marco Polo have spoken lol)
  6. This is a very stupid idea. It would mean that new nations could use the trade market for below the asking price. And yes, it would probably let newer nations grow faster. But joining an alliance does that. And as Zed stated above, it would be very abused by alliances. They would give a bunch of money to buy lots of stuff on the market, then give it to the alliance. You already get Beige while joining, a free 1 million from the objectives. And, you could join an alliance that provides things for you. You don't need o make it so that they can use a "Newbie Coupon" on the free trade market of Orbis.
  7. I suppose that the only way to do that would be to add another function to navies and subs. For navies, we could have them be able to shoot some subs down, along with the nuclear, torpedoes or missiles with them. For subs, they could have another version, Defence Subs, which would protect navies from other attack submarines. Kind of like a fleet if you will. Thank you so much for pointing this flaw out, and please let me know if I need to give you some stats on the kill rate for example. And tbh, I feel there would need to be different types of ships in the navy for it to actually become good, such as an aircraft carrier or destroyer.
  8. Well this is a way for people to fight with subs to crush enemies navies, or for smaller nations to be able to break a blockade without having ships. The subs also wouldn't be able to be destroyed by airplanes, although they can be destroyed by other subs. This of course is only my opinion on what it would look like, in the end it is Alex that calls the shots.
  9. What it is: It would allow a player to make submarines as a new military unit What are the purposes for each submarine: Submarines would come in 3 different types, (Please give me some names for these) Sinking Submarine, (Can torpedo naval boats and other submarines) Missile Submarines, (Allows The Submarine to launch Missiles, the missiles stored in the submarine would not be able to be espionaged) and Nuclear Submarines, ( Allows The Submarine to launch Nuclear Weapons, the Nuclear Weapons stored in the submarine would not be able to be espionaged) Projects: Each type of sub would require a national project, which would go in this order: Torpedo Subs, Missile Subs, and Nuclear Subs How to build the sub: $100,000, 500 steel, 500 aluminum. How to use it: In a war, you can choose naval battle and choose to come with subs. They would require 5 gasoline and 10 munitions per 2 subs in the battle. @Alex If there is any other numbers involved, please pm me in game or do that on your own haha Please let me know what you think!
  10. Project Name: Pandemic Preparedness Prerequisites: Center for Civil Engineering, Urban Planning Effect: Would allow for up to 4 hospitals per city, increases effectiveness of hospitals at decreasing disease from 2.5% to 4% each, and decreases disease from pollution 0.05 to 0.03 per percent. Cost: $30million, 5000 aluminum, 5000 steel, 100000 food Please let me know what you think!
  11. lol our alliance FairyTail merged with another alliance, ok. It was not against the rules, and I am saying that as I was once a FairyTail member. To be fair tough, I wasn't around when the attacks happened
  12. It would be a new object, possibly in military or possibly in improvements where you could transfer rss from the "asteroid" and bring it back to your nation. If you don't have enough rocket ships, or don't have enough capacity, it would stack up on the asteroid, and could allow for spy operations to steal the rss. Wait I just realized that is a new thing too. Well, a new spy operation, idk what to call it, could steal rss from your asteroids if you don't collect it quickly enough.
  13. Hello! I didn't see any suggestions, so here we go! Prerequisites: Space Program, Moon Landing Cost: $500 million to $750 million, 50000 uranium, 15000 steel, 15000 aluminum, 10000 gasoline, 1000 iron, 1000 bauxite Effects: Certain Revenue added per turn, resources would be extracted as well*, and could possibly add more resource not available on Earth rss such as Mercury, Gold, etc *Would require rocket ships to transfer the resources or you don't make any, have a set capacity per rocket ship Rocket Ships: Brings rss back to your nation, require the improvement: "Launchpad" to operate. 10 rockets per launchpad, maximum 5 launch pads per city. The capacity of a single rocket ship varies from 500-1000 rss. Espionage Risks: With great reward, there is great risk as well. A new espionage operation, (leave your name suggestions in the comments please) would allow any rss stacked up on the asteroid to be sent to the nation conducting the espionage. Rss are stacked up by not collecting them with the capacity or amount of rocket ships you have. A costly project indeed, but could possibly the most rewarding Let me know your thoughts! (Please let me know if the Cost is too much, I will adjust as necessary) @Alex, good idea or bad idea?
