Nervously, he tightened his tie around his neck and practiced again, this time saying "Welcome, fellow members of the United Nations of Orbis, as you know, we are here not for leisure, but for business, so please bear in mind that the issues you wish to discuss might happen later today or in the next few days, depending on what it is.", it didn't sound good either, but it would have to do, he was to begin the meeting anyways, so he might as well make it sound good he thought.
