Merely 2 hours after the war was declared, the esteemed leader of the ATLAS Corporation, Jonathon Irons, was held at gunpoint by unknown armed men. Because all military force were out of country, there was little anyone could do. The armed men came and threatened Irons that, unless he pulled out and payed back for damages, he would be shot, and that the rest of the ATLAS Corporation would be destroyed by an outside source. Irons, reluctantly, agreed, signing over $850,000 to the North American Confederacy. Even with the war in ATLAS's favor, the troops were broken as they were called back to Sri Lanka. With the ATLAS Corporations credibility and vault decimated, Irons released a press conference stating that ATLAS will no longer be taking PMC missions. Rather, ATLAS's military will be converted towards revenue, where ATLAS hopes to regain all that was lost. This not only includes funds, but also the shame that currently shadows the nation.
