Darknight Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 After careful thought a few days ago the the Lunar Republic decided to join the United Nations of Earth, or UNE for short. Chancellor Darknight had this to say: "While we are honored that our new neighbors of different alliances offered us a spot to join them, even alliances such as the "Seven Kingdoms." We have decided to instead join the UNE, being new it seemed best for us since we are new to this land as well. However, we still wish to promote good relations and trade with nations outside of this alliance since we bore no ill to any of your kind." -Chancellor Darknight. Later today the New Lunar Republic raised the flag of the UNE to be at the same height as their own flag. The alliance has already given a loan that boosted the economy of Canterlot and was quickly and fully repaid. There are later plans to establish full Foreign and Domestic Policies to better establish the Republic government of the NLR. In related news, Commander in Chief - Alexei Romanov II of the UNE visited Canterlot to investigate it's current situation.
