Cheburashka
Dear fellow leaders of Politics & War, As we navigate the complex landscape of international relations, alliances play a crucial role in shaping the fate of our nations. They can be the catalysts for cooperation, economic prosperity, and mutual defense, or they can become sources of tension, rivalries, and even full-scale conflicts. With this in mind, let's engage in a thoughtful discussion on the future of global alliances and the path we should take as a community. Are alliances essential for the success of a nation, or can countries thrive independently? Share your thoughts and experiences on the benefits and drawbacks of alliances in Politics & War. What qualities do you consider crucial when forming or joining an alliance? Is it mainly military strength, economic stability, shared ideologies, or something else? How do these factors contribute to the stability and longevity of alliances? How can we encourage more diplomatic interactions and cooperation among alliances? Are there any game mechanics or changes that could foster a stronger sense of collaboration and prevent conflicts from escalating into all-out wars? What role should non-aligned nations play in the global stage? Should they be facilitators of peace, neutral entities, or independent powerhouses that challenge the status quo? Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of being a non-aligned nation. How can we strike a balance between competition and collaboration among alliances? Is it possible to have healthy rivalries without resorting to aggression? Share your ideas on maintaining a peaceful and dynamic environment within the game. Let's engage in a constructive and open-minded discussion about the future of global alliances in Politics & War. Your insights and experiences are valuable, so let's strive for a meaningful exchange of ideas that will shape the course of our virtual world. Find a close group of friends that trust each other and make a plan. This game is basic. It just needs coordination. So since the incrowd here doesn't really want Alpha to exist, we are choosing to play the game our way. And yes, the game's economy is badly broken and in need of a huge fix. 5 Quote Inform Zigbir I have forgotten how to edit the signature field Please remind me how to do it post haste! Anarchist Empire
Can a nation survive on their own? If they're good and willing to get beiged sometimes; since ultimately even if they're good; competent alliance willing to take any amount of damage they can do will probably be able to wear them down. So they can make it hurt like hell for nations to bring them down. Before they deleted a ton of nations suddenly; would have been much easier for a nation to thrive independently & still might. However treating this like FPS deathmatch & ignoring the politics would be to a nations disadvantage. 2 Quote Anarchy, Action, Agora! Just 1 nation, so nations can survive, but still good to have friends. (Kind of like playing on hard mode vs easy mode; joining an alliance or not.) The traditional role non aligned nations play is raider. There are a few alliances dedicated to non alignment like Arrgh. Recently there has development of micro alliances that contain two to three really strong nations that pretty much fend for themselves. Sometimes they have loose ties to an alliance. So I guess you can say the role of non aligned nations is evolving. Those nations goals should definitely be to challenge the status quo. It's too many people being lazy (or simply wanting to be a hector) and not wanting to change the status quo to make the game more dynamic. It's possible to strike a balance between competition and collaboration by simply reducing alot of the egos in this game. People don't collaborate because they have a different idea and instead of compromising they fight. Another way it could be possible is always have newer players join with new ideas. Alot of older players don't want that because it means their decrepid, ill-bred opinions and actions won't have any basis or support.
