Karibu
Hello guys I wanted to create a simple excel file on some game mechanics but looks like I'm facing problems on the simple population formula.. Based on https://forum.politicsandwar.com/index.php?/forum/51-game-discussion/&do=add the formula is: Population = (Base Pop - ((Disease Rate * 100 * Infra)/100) - MAX((Crime Rate / 10) * (100*Infra) - 25, 0) * (1 + ln(CityAgeInDays)/15) Yet, with a real case like: https://politicsandwar.com/city/id=992357 Infra: 2500 Disease: 1.29% Crime: 0% City Age 27 I got 300,997 pop, but the reality is 300,983. Not sure if the formula is outdated? or a mistake on my side? Thank you
Jacob Knox
I imagine it's rounding error. You're likely rounding in different places than Alex's code does. Quote Federation of Knox Enlightened of Chaos, Event Horizon QA Team and API Team
Karibu
If I take a much holder city, then the gap is higher... I'm wondering if the formula is correct...
