Walpurgis International Broadcast #1

Three... Two... One... Upon the sound of the final number, the broadcast began.

The cameras panned around, showing the streets and buildings of a semi-futuristic- looking city. Thousands of people could be seen lining the streets. An aerial view was shown to emphasize just how many people were actually there. After a few moments, the view transitioned back to ground level. A large platform had been set up, accompanied by a fancy-looking building towering behind it. On the center of the stage, stood a short, pale girl with long silver hair and lavender eyes. Her height couldn't have been more than five feet, and her age, no more than sixteen. After a few seconds, she finally started to speak.

"Good morning, everyone. Thank you so much for joining us this early." The clock on the bottom-right corner of the screen showed the time as 4:55 A.M. The sky was still dark, and the sun had yet to rise. Despite the early hour, the large crowd of people cheered with an obvious sense of enthusiasm at her words. After a few moments, the cheers died down, and the girl continued to speak. "We are currently broadcasting internationally for the very first time, so we thought it proper that we should introduce ourselves to the...lovely nations of the world." Her fair voice was clearly filled with sarcasm upon reaching the word "lovely." "Let me introduce to you the person who will do just that. Please join me in welcoming your King and Queen, Kaname and Yuki Kuran."

A large portion of the crowd cheered, while the other bowed deeply as a way of showing their absolute respect for the King and Queen who had walked gracefully onto the platform. The King, whose name was stated as Kaname Kuran, had brown hair down to the top of his collar, as well as red eyes that could easily be seen through the darkness. Compared to the girl who had introduced them, he was a whole foot taller. The Queen, whose name had been stated as Yuki Kuran, stood next to him. She, too, had brown hair, the length of which was just a tad longer than Kaname's. She shared the bright red eyes as well, also easily seen through the darkness. Her height matched that of the girl who had introduced them.

"Thank you very much. You may rise." Upon hearing his words, the portion of the crowd that had been bowing finally stood. He began to speak again. "As you all know, my name is Kaname Kuran, and this is my wife Yuki. We have been chosen to represent you all as your King and Queen, a position we were honored to accept." The King and Queen bowed their heads slightly before bringing them back up. "I'm sure the rest of the world's nations have heard the news concerning central Asia by now, and are desiring to hear an explanation, which I will be providing right now."

He signaled the cameras to pan out again, showing the crowd once more. "None of us are human. We are all what you would consider to be magical beings. For millennium, the likes of us have been severely mistreated by humanity. We've been burned alive, crucified, tortured, executed... And for what purpose? Just because humans couldn't understand us. It hardly seems fair that we've had to suffer for so long due to your compulsive fear of what you cannot understand. We are demons, Diclonii, vampires, witches, and much more."

The cameras pointed back to the platform. "What we've done tonight, is present to the world our official response to the mistreatment we've endured for thousands of years. Thirteen million. Thirteen million is the amount of humans who have died tonight. Thirteen million is the amount of humans who have paid the ultimate sacrifice due to the actions of the rest of their species. This number will only continue to grow. The remaining human population of the lands we've seized has been captured, including..." A long row of people were lined up on the platform, each one of them with tears running down their faces - faces whose looks were that of defeat. "Who you see before you are the governments of the nations of Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan. To display the legitimacy of our cause, these people will be publicly executed. They won't be the only ones, however." The monitors then showed more people lined up in several other locations, trembling in fear. "There were several instances of attempted escapes across the borders of Amenria, the United States of Asia, and Nihon. All of which were failures. As such, they will be receiving the same punishment as everyone else, right at the aforementioned countries' borders." The crowd erupted in cheers as members of various magical species approached the captives from behind. Some of which were witches, some Diclonii, and some vampires. Each species was tasked with the executions at different locations. Witches were assigned to Nihon's borders, Diclonii to the American borders, and vampires to Amenria's borders as well as the various government members lined up on the platform.

As the crowd roared on, Kaname gave the go ahead to the witches. They responded with a nod, before igniting the line of people before them on fire with their magic. He did the same for the Diclonii, as the people before them basically exploded all at once. Their insides spewed everywhere in all its uncensored glory. The vampires then received the go ahead, bearing their fangs as they bit into the necks of the captured humans. At last, it was time for the government members to receive their punishment as well. The row of vampires behind them got into position. Just then, rays of light could be seen in the sky as the sun slowly began to rise. One of the government members looked up as he saw what was perhaps his final hope of living. "Ha...haha! T-they're vampires, right? That means the sun will burn them to death! We're saved!" The sun rose even further, filling the city with its light. The man looked at Kaname, who was standing there calmly just as everyone else was. His expression of confidence immediately changed into one of shock. He tried to speak, only to find himself completely unable to. Kaname then spoke up. "My apologies, but we do not share the same weakness of the vampires that appear in your human fiction." Kaname gave the signal to the row of vampires, each one then biting deeply into the necks of their prey. Within moments, every last one of them was dead, their lifeless bodies falling to the ground.

The cameras turned back to Kaname. "Now then. I suppose all that's left to do is introduce this new nation itself, as well as its government. We are known as Walpurgis, named in honor of the species who gave us this opportunity. Before I introduce our government, I would just like to extend my gratitude to the Holy Britannian Empire for your cooperation. Any diplomat you choose to send will be accepted." The crowd cheered once more. "At last, I'd like to introduce the people who will serve as our personal council. Maria Kurenai - vampire." The girl from before, who had introduced the King and Queen stepped forward, bowing before them. "Rima Toya - vampire." A girl about 5'6" in height, with short ginger hair stepped forward, bowing as well. "Senri Shiki - vampire." A young man with mahogany hair, a few inches taller than Rima, stepped forward and bowed. "Akatsuki Kain - vampire." Another young man with light orange hair, a couple inches taller than Kaname, stepped forward and bowed. "Hanabusa Aido - vampire." A young man with blonde hair, slightly shorter than Kaname, stepped forward and bowed. "Ruka Souen - vampire." Another girl, with blonde hair, slightly shorter than Hanabusa stepped forward and bowed. "And lastly, Takuma Ichijo - vampire." Another young man with blonde hair, the same height as Kaname, stepped forward and bowed. Each one of them had a clearly visible sense of grace about them, as if they held positions of importance even before today. After a few moments, and more cheers from the crowd, Kaname spoke up. "You may stand." They followed his orders, standing in a line over to the side. "So now you know who we are, as well as our intentions. I'll leave you with one final thing." He looked off to his left as a girl with long pink hair and horns stepped forward. "This is Lucy, a Diclonius. It'd be best if you knew her face well, as she will be in charge of our military force. She, as well as other Diclonii, has been assigned to protect our borders from anyone who attempts to cross them - aggressively or not. For the sake of each species who calls Walpurgis their home, we will not step down. We will continue to expand our borders until one day, we may each live on a planet where humans can no longer be called the dominant species, but rather us. As a matter of fact, we are in the process of capturing the city of Beijing, and securing a path to the Black Sea as we speak." The monitors then flashed up footage of similar chaos to the previous night unfolding in the aforementioned areas. After focusing back on Kaname, he had but one final thing to say. "Long live Walpurgis." He then turned to leave along with Yuki, as cheers of "Long live Walpurgis!" filled the streets. The flag of the newly formed nation slowly rose above the Akorda Presidential Palace in its capital city of Astana.

The broadcast then slowly faded to black. All that remained on the screen was the flag of Walpurgis.

*After having seen the news, the people of the UKC began trashing and cursing the name of these "terrorists" (as their signs read.) They marched and rallied in the streets condemning the acts and calling for a response from the Emperor. The people called out for war, retaliation and defense of their own kind. An Official response of the Government didn't come for a few days until now. A screen appears before all those who chose to watch and the screens of the streets turned black as well did the electronic billboards across every city in the UKC. Soon Emperor Zeus could be seen standing at a podium surrounded by guards and reporters from every news station there to catch a glimpse and give live coverage to what was about to unfold. He sighed a bit and then spoke*

 

"People of the United Kingdom of Cal and Orbis, the recent slaughter is one on a scale even I know is insane, we may have turned over the Amazon to suit our people, but this, this is something only a 'Monster' could do." *the cameras then showed glimpses of the world wide broadcast before turning back to him* "Yes monsters, this is why history tried to kill those things, because they are animals in the form of a human. I understand your frustrations but rest assured, because as we speak the national guard along with the Royal air force are as of now dumping anyone and everyone found to be as one of those creatures off into the Pacific where they will likely suffer many times over before and if they ever reach land again" *the camera then shows a scene of the first escorts being dumped and then loud roars are heard from over and around the building and lights come down at certain parts ofnthe crowd inside and out and random people disappear*

 

 

"As you can see we have already found some of them in our very presence, I promise we will work night and day until these things are removed from our nation" *the screen then goes black and the flag of the UKC appears before the regular shows and screens return to normal*

This atrocity is unacceptable! *the Heavenly Emperor stands up and slams his fist on a table, breaking it in half* You..you villains have slaughtered innocents in blind vengeance for what people they had nothing to do with has done to your kind. As an extension of God's will on Orbis, we will not remain silent while people need our help. I thought I cleansed the world of evil, but it seems I was wrong...Expect divine intervention, sinner, for God's wrath is coming your way..

Your acts of evil are despicable and intolerable. We, the Queendom of Aelonia will place sanctions on Walpurgis and will send aid to victims of your oppression all across the globe. We may be peaceful, but we are not weak, and we will always fight for good. Our dragons, khenra, and ammit long for vampire flesh and they are more than willing to return your cruelty. Take this as a warning, evil one.

The palace was quiet. Although it was the start of a brand new morning, most of Walpurgis' government was asleep. It was only natural, though. They were all vampires, after all. The sun may not harm them, but they've grown accustomed to avoiding it the best they can. Beams of light from the morning sun shined through the windows of the throne room. In other nations, a room such as this might be filled to the brim with various members of government, guards, and what have you. The only occupant of this specific throne room, however, was Kaname Kuran - the Vampire King himself. He looked as if he had just awoken. He let out a yawn and stretched as he attempted to fully wake himself up.

The sound of footsteps could then be heard approaching the room in a brisk manner. Kaname looked towards the large fancy doors as they slowly opened, revealing several people. As they hurried inside, one of them spoke up. "Lord Kaname, have you seen?" The question came from Takuma Ichijo, a member of the King and Queen's personal council. He picked up a remote and pointed it at a large monitor, turning it on. A replay of a few different news broadcasts from several nations appeared on the screen. Kaname gave a slight nod as he responded. "Ah, yes. I've seen them." Another person then spoke. "Well then, what should we do? Give them a response of our own? They deserve a little payback for waking me up so early." Kaname turned his head toward him. "Yes, Akatsuki. Just be patient. I've carefully considered what our next course of action will be." He then turned to look at another member of his council. "Maria, have those who have been so carelessly discarded into the ocean by that wretched Kingdom been rescued yet?" She nodded. "Yes, Lord Kaname. The remaining ones have been brought to shore by the mermaids earlier this morning. They've been identified as well. About 160 witches and 140 vampires in total." He exhaled. "Good work. Tell them to be ready in case they should discard anymore." Maria nodded once again, then proceeded to leave the room to relay the order she'd just received. Kaname spoke up again. "Now then, get the cameras ready. I just had a great idea." "An idea, sir? What is it?" Takuma asked. "Just trust me."

About an hour had passed. The King and Queen stood with their council just outside the palace. Cameras had been set up all around. Large crowds of people had formed on the streets around the palace, eager to hear what their King's official response would be. Three. Two. One. Upon the sound of the countdown, the conversation amongst the crowd had died down, as the broadcast began.

"Good morning, all. I know it's early, and I do not wish to take much of your precious time. I am here to present Walpurgis' official response to the recent actions of several nations." One of the monitors flashed up footage from the Kingdom of Cal's newscast that had taken place the previous day. "I'm sure, by now, all of you have witnessed the despicable actions taken by the Kingdom of Cal against fellow members of various magical species." The crowd erupted in boos, expressing their clear disapproval of the aforementioned actions. Kaname nodded before speaking again. "It's somewhat humorous. The leaders of Cal only presented an official response due to the heated response of their citizens, in an obviously desperate attempt to maintain their public image. They must have been too rushed to use what little intelligence they possessed, however..." Kaname then raised his hand to draw attention to a monitor displaying a scene of about 300 people standing on the edge of a cliff. Each one had their arms and legs tied, their soaking wet bodies visibly trembling as a group of witches stood behind them. "Walpurgis successfully rescued those who were discarded into the ocean, but upon an investigation to determine the identities of each person..." The camera zoomed in as it moved down the line of people. "Each one was found to be human." Reactions of shock could be heard from the crowd.

"That's right. The Kingdom of Cal would sacrifice their own people to save their public image. And that is why we will be providing them with some assistance... Now they can watch as more of their own kind are ended as a result of their actions." The crowd erupted in cheers. Using magic, the witches then set each person on fire. Each one let out screams of agony as their flesh began to burn. Left with little choice, they jumped off of the cliff, plummeting about one hundred feet to the ocean below. Relief would only come to them for an instant, however, as their tied arms and legs left them unable to swim, ultimately drowning. The crowd continued to cheer as the scene was broadcast internationally. Kaname spoke again, causing the cheers to die down. "And to the nations of Aelonia and Amenria, as well as anyone else who should throw hollow threats our way, I would advise against it. For following through on said threats would only result in massive amounts of bloodshed and wasted lives for you. On second thought, perhaps it would be best if you ignored this warning. Doing so would only help us in achieving our mission. It is your choice. It would be wise to contemplate it carefully." With those final words, the King and Queen took their leave. The broadcast ended with the flag of Walpurgis appearing across the screen.

*Governor Sven, top advisor and overseer behind the income of international news, rearranged the news fast to fit the good picture the people had for their Kingdom. He did this of course on the command of Emperor Zeus.*

"The UKC has made no Official response but members of the Government made remarks towards Walpurgis that could be attributed to calling them less than a human and even Governor Sven himself made the response in an interview* "Walpurgis is being run by animals, actually, they're less than animals and we should hunt them down for their actions"

 

"meanwhile nationwide military exercises have been conducted and the new armored Tanks along with the Air force in which we have all seem in action has begun patrol across the Empire and word of New naval units have mentioned to be in the works"

 

"We have also received word that the tests for the AntiDome around the nation have been found to increase with each test and a happy sideaffect to this technology has found it to be adapting on its own for stronger and faster capabilities"

I condemn your actions against humanity. This is unacepptable. This is genocide. You, and your nation is an universal criminal. Our nation won't remain silent. Those humans did nothing wrong to your people, they're innocent. Remember, we may look remain silent but you won't see what's behind our appearance..
