Fukuda Kazuma
13/02/2017 Hello everyone, my name is Karma Akabane and I'm here reporting from the newly incorporated city of Columbus, Ohio. Reporting for the Gothenburg Post. Just yesterday, a contingent of 25,000 soldiers, led by Empress Alexia herself, entered the city of Detroit with barely any resistance at all. Any rebels quickly submitted and laid down their weapons to the Empress without even a shot. With Detroit in the hands of the Federation, they continued moving South, capturing the city of Toledo and by nightfall, Cleveland had submitted to the mighty Empress, with very few casualties of their own. On the other side, a smaller militia force from West Virginia, roughly 10,000 men, marched into Ohio, where fighting was brutal in the city of Cincinnati. Despite casualties exceeding 300, the city fell by nightfall and all soldiers rested for the night. First day takings, crosses representing major cities captured By daybreak, just a few hours ago, a the two forces launched a two pronged attack on the capital, Columbus. With forces flanking both sides of the city, fighting was virtually nonexistent as the city, as well as the rest of the state, capitulated to the Federation. This has allowed the colony of Virginia to be connect with the rest of the Federation, making overland trade possible and much more easier. Celebrations were held in many Federation cities in North America and much praise was given to the Empress for her skill and ability to make an entire state submit to her with so little casualties. The capture of Columbus, resulting in the capitulation of Ohio Back in Europe, Emperor Gilbert Beilschmidt also led another force of 15,000 men into the city Latvian city of Riga, where the ill-equipped militia surrendered after two hours of fighting. The only condition was that no one is to be killed, no soldier, no civilian. The Emperor gladly accepted the terms, and incorporated Riga into the FSA. After establishing peace, he left the city for Gothenburg, but he'll be back...for more. Eva-Beatrice
A statement from the Witch Council Rokkenjima is strongly against these recent acts of imperialism by the FSA. The Witch Council met earlier this morning to discuss this recent development, and voted 4 to 3 to offer asylum to those looking to escape their now occupied lands. We ask that the government of the FSA allows those who wish to leave to be able to do so freely. 1 Quote When the seagulls cried, none were left alive. Fukuda Kazuma
-snip- After much discussion between the co-leaders, Emperor Gilbert and Empress Alexia have agreed to give exactly 24 hours to anyone wishing to cross the border into Rokkenjima. After that, an electric fence will be installed to prevent anyone from coming in or out. Any Rokkenjiman presence in Ohio will be taken as a act of war. The Emperor would like to wish good luck to those stupid enough to pack their bags and leave. Eva-Beatrice
300 refugees have crossed the border into Rokkenjima during the 24 hour timeframe. With that, the border with the FSA has been permanently closed. 1 Quote When the seagulls cried, none were left alive. "If life is a miracle, then death is a certainty."
