Address from Tenchi Mitsunari of PRCJ

To the people of Wintery, and those around Orbis. I come before you to speak on recent events that have some questioning the Communist ideology. Like so many different governments Communism also has many branches, those who believe in the core concepts of Communism but then alters other ideas to make their ideal system and circumstances. Despite these differences there is what we in Communist Japan call the core reason of Communism. That is the idea that the people deserve to be free to live their lives, that they should have say in their Government, and that they should have those things needed to survive ensured to them. 

 

I will not deny that since being in Wintery, I have seen Capitalism both at its finest and at its lowest. At its finest it allows the people to have many things that are unique and of varying qualities. However at its lowest there are people who can barely make a living even working more then one job. To this end, it is the belief of many in my nation that the people have the right to choose their own path, and in doing so every nation has its own path that it may choose. Many choose the way of Democracy with Capitalism, others like Wintery hold a Monarchy with a Capitalist system in place, and as such there are many forms of Communism.

 

The Peoples Republic of Communist Japan is a Democratic Communist nation that places its power into the Peoples Assembly and its Chairman. We chose this path over the former Imperial Court and the Emperor, and our people are happy. 

 

In the recent days and months there have been several Communist groups to rise in nations such as in DeutchReich that have sought to bring about a Communist Revolution, to that end we believe that such actions are not needed. In the nation of DeutchReich we believe simply forming a party and pushing its agenda through normal political channels would have eventually led to a political shift. However instead the Communist group used terror strikes, revolts, and revolution which has led to the death of many civilians, an action that we can not condone.

 

We plead with the Communist groups to lay down their arms and to seek a peaceful solution to the civil war. We would gladly assist them in forming their own political party and pushing their agenda, but only through peaceful means.

 

May we grow, may we prosper, may we seek life and freedom for all mankind in orbis.

The people within Wintery are still weary about the PRCJ, and some still do call for ties to be dropped. Despite this the royal family has stated that its neighbor in the East has not done anything to warrant breaking ties with them and as such has no intention of doing so.

Even throughout the DeutchReich we have faced large anti-communist riots and protests, and calls and petitions to end our diplomatic ties, however our current government and I have outright refused. We are honored to have the communist nation of Japan as one of our greatest allies and neighbors in the Asian Pacific Region. We thank Tenchi Mitsubari for this wonderful letter
