During the conference after the peace treaty signing, a reporter was able to ask the King for his reasoning of conquering Panama. This is what he said:

"Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do. But, Panama is a strategic location for both economic and military means. It was in the nation's best interest to have Panama apart of the Kingdom."

Another reporter asked him why he chose to sign Panama in as a territory and not a Province, he said:

"Becoming a province in Thundera is something that must be earned, not just given freely to whomever desires it"

The reporter then asked, "What if another nation tried to liberate or even take Panama for themselves?":

"Well since I've already signed Panama into Thundera as a territory, then an attack on it, would still be an attack on all of Thundera. I would be given no choice but to mobilize all of our forces and defend Thundera from the external threat(s)."

Following the conference, King Tiggera has ordered two permanent military bases be build in Panama (one in the North and the other in the South) to defend it from internal and external threats and protect national interest.
