Mayor Posted March 8, 2016 Share Posted March 8, 2016 The border with the E.A.R is heavily militarized and completely closed, East Shikoku is being used to house refugees from the E.A.R, and any found fleeing to the main islands will be returned to Shikoku. No one is allowed to visit or enter the main islands. The Quarian Empire and Italia are being held responsible; while the Italian peninsula is blockaded our forces fighting in North America are ordered to continue on. Any envoy from the Quarians or UC will be directed to our forward military bases in North America and Italia. Our military is on alert and ready to attack any suspected plotter in this terrible attack; the Quarian Empire's extortion in Canada was noticed and our military is notified to be on alert for possible invasion in case quarantine breaks. Any citizens in Calondian colonies are also not allowed to return to the imperial homeland and are ordered to hunker down for the duration of the crisis; the government is working on a cure or way to purge infected safely. Tali Posted March 8, 2016 Share Posted March 8, 2016 The Umbrella Corporation takes full responsibility of the incident, however we took every precaution to avoid the outbreak by using isolated area underground. We suspect outside parties are the cause to the facility's security systems to fail and unleash into the public. Our UBCS and U.S.S agents are working nonstop with any government agency that requests our assistance, as this is not the first incident of this type of outbreak. The Umbrella Corporation is also complying a list of families affected by the outbreak to send financial aid to help cover the families lost loved ones. All refugees are tagged and located in East Shikoku and that would be the likely place for any fleeing criminals if they are in our sphere. Your U.B.C.S and U.S.S agents are allowed to work in conjunction with Calondian Domestic Security (CDS) personnel and Military officials within East Shikoku. The entire island is locked down and there is no way they could escape. If you have any issues or need to contact the main island then report to the Imperial Special Operation (ISO) offices to send a message to the capital.
