Just now, Alex said:
I just wanted to gauge community feedback on a proposed change: reducing the cost of rebuying infrastructure. For a long time, the game has tracked the maximum infrastructure level in each city, so it would be very easy to implement.
How this would work in example, is building infrastructure in a new city would be the same. However, if you had, say, 2000 infrastructure in a city, and then went to war and had that knocked down to 1000, the rebuild cost from 1000->2000 infrastructure would be halved. Above 2000 infrastructure, however, you would be paying the full price again (though just the once, because if you dipped below that new, higher level, you would again be paying only 50% to rebuild to that new max.)
I'd just like to see a quick yes/no vote so I can gauge community opinion. Thanks.

Were you attempting to describe BK with that paragraph?

Earlier today, ~1 hour or so ago, Sheepy, the great Woolly Overlord, and mastermind behind many great, most riveting updates, released a change to the Economic system, changing the way most improvements behave in an attempt to disrupt the deflation of goods and assets.
To examine the
downgradeupdate that Sheepy, merciful Overlord, released, I'll be keeping this thread to note the consequences of the updates.First things first... commerce:
That as you can see, is a spreadsheet. Or well, part of a spreadsheet. It's one of the most basic builds out there - and that is why I have chosen it. The income gained by that build would be roughly ~155k. (At 5.06 cumulative bonus, and Tech Adv. as your domestic policy)
New Update:
Commerce formulae change to:
Improv Commerce Cap Subways 8 1 Supermarkets 3 6 Banks 5 5 Shopping Malls 9 4 Stadiums 12 3 What does that mean? Well, it means that for 100% commerce, optimally, you should have:
3 stadiums, 4 malls, 4 banks, and a subwayThrow in + 1 bank and 3 supermarkets for 114% commerce (goddamit Sheepy not a straight 115 >_>)
What that means it, for the same infra/city, age, cumulative bonus etc. build, you'd have...
...as your new 100% commerce build. That's roughly a 20k decrease in revenue....
...at the cost of an extra 3 slots.
Tune in for the next post.

Excellent growth with a net negative in city quantity after a month. Top notch leadership and Econ programs, ladies and gentlemen.
Date Cities 07/07/2017 348 06/07/2017 362
Net: 348-362 = -14

7 minutes ago, Thalmor said:My theory is that Catsby wants some resemblance of power that's secure. If that means being the leader of Vault 111 and Vault 111 practical being Duat's !@#$ to the point where they're basically just a puppet state, then Catsby is fine with that because it fulfills what he and possibly the rest of his core group wants.
Catsby is more than free to come on here and defend/explain himself ofc (this is a joke thread anyways), but the terms of the protection treaty basically throw any idea of sovereignty out the window. If KT got into a war and those peace terms were the only way out, then I would prefer to just disband that to have those cuffs on (and I think that would be the position of most alliances).
"a. No member of Vault 111 will be allowed to make any statements, posts, threads, or content otherwise on the global forums. An explicit exemption is made for Catsby to post in the National RP section so long as those posts do not in any way reference non-RP aspects."
So... he's not free to come here and defend/explain himself.

Why are people wasting their time on creating alliances only to give in to Grealind's seductive charms, giving him control of it? Why don't you just merge into his alliance or another one is you're not willing to control your own alliance?
Marxist Dream -) They likely weren't going to receive a protectorate agreement, Grealind employed his silver tongue to talk of a seemingly beneficial plan, and they got trapped.
Vault 111 -) Kinda obvious. It's led by Catsby and a few others that still haven't been capable of bringing up an alliance that, y'know, works.
Oh and, those people are dumb. 'Nuff said.
