choices can be made from stupidity, not always directly, although it sounds like you speak from experience, no?
About this time of year, you get to see dozens of examples of poor choices on display on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and Monday nights. Sports commentators and fans then proceed to overanalyze them. Not my poor choices in that case.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday!

Aren't we all more or less in some stock of fashion?
@Cajun_Yankee I need the second half of my brain cell pls
It's been my observation that some people are merely victims of the poor choices, not stupidity.

traits, tying in projects, aging, effect on score(NS)
Interesting. I would look forward to play testing this if it gets that far. One thing that must never be part of it: allowing spies to assassinate generals. Not that it doesn't happen in real life, but it would become exceedingly frustrating to put all the time and effort into developing a general, only to have some person kill him/her simply they are bored and looking to screw with people because they can. It was a major problem in CN back in the day.

Explain how this differs from Generals in Cyber Nations, beyond the possibility that they can be killed in battle.

Interesting group of alliances. Congrats! I look forward to seeing what sort of business ventures they will launch together.

So it was a Hollywood marriage all along...
The pun is there if you look.
Also, some of us make a lot of Steel, so if Santa brought me Coal, I'd be happy. Perspective.

I like the concept and the fact that it forces choices rather than just allowing everyone to busy up everything, but some of the perks list good, some just ok, and some are kinda lame/dumb tbh. The perks list will need some work, particularly the level 1 stuff that would get deployed first.

Congratulations to both parties.

This is a...thing I guess. Maybe those extra two weeks you didn't take off should have been spent on quietly recruiting before doing a DoE.

Right, I gotta ask. Does this mean that col A has a NAP with col B, or did Carthago just sign a peace pact with the entire game aside from KT, Yarr, and WTF?
Would Carthago like a peace pact with WTF? Because I think I can get Carthago some very favorable terms with minimal reps.

Permission to love this idea and wait for all the screech owls to complain? But please, do it any way. Nice addition.

Play because you enjoy the game on balance. Everyone has good/bad times, but this is supposed to be fun.
Never let this game become such a distraction that it trumps RL stuff that matters. Remember what's really important.
Play competitively and with a sense of sportsmanship. No one respects a cheat, no matter how much you brag on your nation age about your stats.
Hopefully you learn a few things that can help you in RL. Team skills. Leadership skills. Maybe even some tech skills. You're wasting an opportunity if you don't.
Good luck out there.

What does him being Muslim have to do with anything?
Can I take a moment to admire your tenacity that you actually made it that far through his monologue to find that quote?

I hate both sides in GW28. Rose is desperately trying to sell spy ops (as many of you know by now), and this guy in The Legion (Illusha) had the audacity to disrespectfully raid a weakened nation (Luna, my only PnW friend so far) that isn't even in the war.
Sounds like you need to grow your nation and your alliance, and work the alliance system to the point that no one will think of raiding your friend. Get right on that.

World Task Force is pleased that the affair is settled and in the end an agreement that should ensure peaceful co-existence between all parties is now in place.

I dont get it... you are making fun of Guardian for having the 6th best damage numbers out of everyone? They are losing and are 6th in the rankings, that is actually super impressive.
This is like the MTG commercial where she is trying to shit on Biden for all the good stuff he has done because she is a wacko and thinks its bad. At the end he is like thanks for the shout out, I approve this message. You went there, I noticed that none of those are Black alliances. 😆
I should probably get out more. Also, I would never call Guardian a terrible alliance. They are turning in a respectable performance here, agreed.

Oh. Apologies. I was under the mistaken impression that tS's FA dept had imploded from a lack of ability and that was the reason they had kept changing allies and spheres over the last couple of years.
Now I see my mistake. What I originally mistook for incompetence is actually a burning desire on tS's behalf to courageously bring balance to this game by constantly changing treaties and spheres so as to prevent any one alliance from assuming a position of preeminent dominance.
I unreservedly apologise for my mistaken presumption.
If you knew anything about my history, you'd know that I'm one of the last people on Orbis to be a t$ supporter.
Could be all a happy accident on their part, doesn't matter. I merely offered the observation that whenever too much power concentrates in one place, there tends to be a concentration power to oppose them. We are at such a moment in history.
A Tale of Brevity from World Task Force and Church of Atom
in Alliance Affairs
Posted
Prelude
RandomNoobster — "This is for all of WTF. I would like to thank you all for coordinating and being so very cooperative. The friendliness and responsiveness to my DMs is something I am personally very grateful for. The disregard for pixels and fundamental understanding of how to win alliance wars is something that cannot be taken for granted, but you have shown that you know all about it and that you're a highly capable fighting force. CoA is looking forward to fighting by your side in the future!"
Viva la Pasta! — "Upgrade to MDoAP?"
RandomNoobster — "MDMAP?"
George Clooney — "MADP...and I haven't seen one of those in a very long time. I don't even think the treaty mechanics allows for them in game. But an upgrade is in order to a MDoAP."
John Baraboo — "Indeed!"
One lengthy version and one very short version of a treaty later...
RandomNoobster — "I must admit that I am fond of the brevity."
Nintendo — "I'm on board with either version. I do like the short and sweet one too." 😆
George Clooney — "Ok, brevity it is."
The Brevity Accords
“Brevity is the soul of wit.”
― William Shakespeare, Hamlet
1) You mess with Church of Atom, expect World Task Force at your door and vice-versa.
2) If CoA messes with you, WTF might join in, and vice-versa.
3) We're buddies. Buddies look out for each other.
4) If we start to squabble too much and decide to part ways, we will provide each other 72 hour notice, and do so in private.
