    My main issue about this game is that too much relaying on community. Every interesting things which are happening currently in game it's up to players. This game is so dull rn that only community keeps it alive. It is sad that game doesn't make any significant progress. There is nothing to do in game rn. No interesting addition to nations or alliances like researches to get bonuses, something like that. Maybe new military unit to make next war more interesting? Idk 

    Why not make something which force alliances to fight more often over some bonuses or sth.  People don't fight too often because they don't have reason to burn pixels. How many times we can fight just for lolz or grudges? 

    And maybe some small change from time to time in war mechanic  to make every war more interesting?

    I don't expect huge changes but this game should be interesting itself. Right now, only community keeps me in this game. I really force myself to log in game. I spend more time at discord... 

     Tell me what you think. I am old player not the oldest but totally bored with lack of new interesting content.

    And yeah I am free to play player so I am not feeling comfortable to criticise it but well...I don't see reason to support this game when I see such stagnation. I only support games which have constant progress. 

    I am tired of trying entertain myself. I did many stupid things but I am feeling burnt out. Ehhh... I expect interesting new things in game. I saw pretty nice ideas in suggestions at forum from members and seems to be mostly ignored.  

    I hate to admit but you are absolutely right......... Like only thing that connecting me with current game is bunch of old friends i like to hangout with..... there has to be some major changes in the gameplay and stuffs..... :(:( 
    litreally nothing changed in last what 3-4 years apart from one minor war mechanics shift...... it's nice that we have lots of good FA minded people to make things interesting but I guess its high time that more updates comes our way...... I dont think we are yet in a point of no return for this game but we are approaching it no doubt about that.

    What does happen sometimes is old players from long ago who established the original alliances have a large following, so they get a lot of likes for no good reason.

    Those old players are a lot of the problem - they hug their pixels as whales and troll the entire game merely from existing and doing nothing.

     

    that is absolutely false ...... sometimes your perspective makes you think someone is being a troll but just think as an independent persona there was a pretty good reason why some old players had a good support base.

    It's the same problem as ever on PnW - everyone counterattacks, nobody attacks.

    forum always contains some trolls if there are quality posters then no one gives a damn about the trolls imo

Hey, people, some of you know that I came back sometime (3 months) ago and one of the visible change I noticed from the 2016-17 era is that this forum is pretty less active :P (won't use the word inactive). Although in-game and in discord many alliances seemed to be hyper-active. So any particular reason why? 

    I am particularly missing long Orbis Central threads about in-game politics ? .... 

    Now easily could have asked this to a few old friends but really want everyone's opinion here :)

  6. Don't let others discourage you mate create your own alliance and name it GPA and buy protection from other established AA xD 

     

    On a serious note try out raiding once atleast, then you will ask for alliance that allows to raid anyone ?

  7. War length are in general determined by set of goals the agressors went out to achieve [given the agressor wins] and the amount of damage the defending AA thinks is good enough for the agressors to teach a lesson [given the defending AA wins].

    Now as for orbis wide scale a war that is coming as a total surprise to the defending one are very low [probably need to go far back to silent war but still it was obvious back then that a war is coming only the sides were not clear enough]. So having said that we can safely assume that even before the war begins both sides have sort of an idea about what they are trying to achieve. Oh by the way keep those meme terms out of discussion they are more for fun rather than anything else. 

    Now coming to the main topic why the war length is increasing?

    It's simple previously alliances had 3/4  nations in 20-25 city range whom they can rely on to generate revenue even when a massive war is going on now top tiers are in the region of 30+ cities, But still the main fight occurs in the 13-18 city level which is more or less same as earlier case. So the thing is both side gets enough fuel to fight out wars in the middle tier than it was before, And in addition to that what happens at the end of the war is when a side knows that they can't win they simply start nuking now in the past when whales are rolled and started nuking they would hit cities of say 13-15 level with some 1.2k-1.5k infra so nukes doesn't mattered much but again now the time has changed when you are ZIed and ZMed and you nuke a 20 city folk with 2k-2.5k infra per city you actually start making positive damage and if you have a bank to guarantee your rebuild then keep on nuking is a better term than agreeing to reps (btw any AA gave out more than 1bn reps till now? just asking i wasn't around for some time)  or some term that hurts your "Ego".

     

    Now what are my personal opinions?

    I think war length totally depends on your target set . if you can achieve your target after 2 round it's best to peace out , if you need to fight for 1 year to get your terms so be it.

    And as a concluding remark I would say I strongly believe all top AA leaders thinks about their own members first (unless he/she is a stupid) , If he/she feels that their alliance is loosing activity level , good members due their own egoistic issues they will and must peace out ASAP.
