    The Trail to Perfection

A sea of Roses. A land of WTFers. Paradise that so few get to visit. To find it, you must travel far and wide. Through the valley of sun and sand you must walk. Over the mountain tops of rock and snow you must climb. Through the caves of darkness and despair you must navigate. However, when the end of the journey is reached....a treasure greater than imagined is achieved.

    Introduction
Two friends set out on the journey of a lifetime in search of a place that could be called perfection. A utopia that defies everything ever imagined. Through the sea of sands and valley of rocks they marched. What they found....was unbelievable.

    Article 1: Respect
We are all friends here. Respect and sovereignty reign supreme.

    Article 2: Peace
Many fight to determine who is right and who is wrong. Never even trying to compromise or come to an understanding. Not here. Peaceful resolution is the best solution. Hell, we'll even invite you to Beer Falls when all is said and done!

    Article 3: Knowledge
Books are only half the battle in the quest to full understanding. Communication is key. When someone learns of possible foul play afoot, we share it with our friends.

    Article 4: Backup
Sometimes a fool makes their way into our peaceful midst. They tend to be unreasonable and naive. If someone is attacked, help is always appreciated.

    Article 5: War
Every once in awhile a common enemy comes into the fold, where talks only go so far and compromise will never happen. Over a round of shots, maybe a cigar or two and agreement from both, operation enemy extinction will begin.

    Article 6: Raiders
Some enemies know not what they do. They think raiding is a means of living. When one gets raided here, the other may jump to his defense.

    Article 7: Exit
If the sounds of the open trail come calling once again, you are free to go on your way. All we ask is 72 hours notice before your new journey begins.

    WORST CATEGORIES

Worst Alliance of the Year: Suicide Squad, they all went inactive (except for Under) after they lost a war to GPA
Worst Military of the Year: Cornerstone, I'm hoping they learned since their last war
Worst Diplomatic Move: Anything Anson did
Most Inactive Large Alliance: UPN, just based on inactive nations.
Alliance Most Likely to Fail in 2016: I feel that this one is a bit of a loaded question, the biggest failure will be from whoever takes the biggest risk and fails, in my opinion. For example, if SK would have pulled of the stuff that was leaked this summer they would have been immensely successful and hard to compete with but since it was squashed they had to take months to recover. I would say Sigma if it's just basic disbanding and such though.
Worst Player of the Year: Abbas Mehdi
Worst Alliance Leader of the Year: Shellhound, I love the guy but if we are talking in regards to which leader hurt their alliance the most with their actions he takes it simply due to the PR and statistical hit Guardian got from him.
Worst Treaty of the Year: (provide a link) UPN - Mensa treaty, https://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/7923-announcement/
    Worst Forum Poster:  Ibrahim

  3. Rose sucks dong, so none of this matters.

The politics that exist today were mostly created by players that (are not limited to but) consisted of several people in Rose. The very first war in the game was TC vs. TAC (basically Rose) and created a clear divide between two spheres until the game attracted more players. That divide existed pretty much until this summer, then Rose was the swing that turned a war from the SK/Guardian sides favor to the VE/tS sides favor. Following that Rose has been the protector for VE, tS, and Alpha - all of which are influential alliances today, in fact - some notorious tS members were members of Rose BEFORE tS because they wanted to get a better understanding of the game mechanics and such before they went off on their own. You don't have to like Rose, you don't have to like me, but implying that we haven't impacted the politics of the game is pretty much the most sophomoric thing I've seen you type.

inb4 "Pub, I told you to never speak to me so I'm just going to shrug this off and discredit it with information that has nothing to do with what you said."

Also, just wanted to point out that Cynic actually brought tS, Vanguard and now \m/ into this world. He's set a pretty high bar for creating alliances.

  4. Kraven looked towards the town where a great celebratory feast was being held, many young boys had been /v/irginized that day & now the people celebrated. Kraven shivered, the night was cold & dreary, he would be relived of his watch soon, free to go join in revelries of the night. He looked back at the Temple, it's gold pillars blood red in the reflections of the great fires. He looked out onto the waters of the harbor, & lo the mists of the bay parted before the prow of a dark ship, barely discernible was the Skull & Bones, symbol of pirates. Kraven fumbled in the darkness for the warning horn. He pressed it to his lips & began a long deep note, but the note was cut short. Pierced by an arrow, Kraven fell from the watch tower & knew no more.

The pirates knew they had little time. They rushed upon the temple slaying the light guard. They stole many valuables, the gold, & the silver, & the diamonds, some even daring to venture into the inter sanctum & steal the prized treasures. But soon the Dioists alerted by Kravens call were upon on them & they retreated to their ships. Leaving many of their comrades dead upon the shores.

    Dawn rose upon the Dioists gathered before the Temple steps, the women were preparing the dead for their journey to Yoshinoya, the men were cleaning & sharpening their weapons, steeling themselves for the war to come, a silent expectation overall. The silence was broken by the sound of footsteps echoing from the Temple. The priests Atzuya & Pubstomper walked out, followed by the great Apostle Dr Rush. Their faces were grave but resolute, Pubstomper & Atzuya spoke of the nights events & then gave way to Dr Rush who spoke as if his voice would set the world afire;

My Brethren, the Priesthood has prayed to Dio for guidance & he has moved our hearts to war! The pirates have take our Treasures & they shall be recovered. The pirates have taken a great part of our wealth & that too we shall recover. The pirates have spilt the blood of our people upon our own lands & we shall be avenged!

Their hearts kindled to fire by the words the Dioists as one took up the call, Pride, Power, Pakistan! They would go to war.

    Pride, Power, Pakistan!
