  1. The Human Alliance vessels sent to assist in the mission pick up the civilians that the Israeli fleet can't hold, ensuring the mission can be completed in one trip. After unloading the evacuees in Hong Kong, the Israeli fleet is instructed to continue home while the Human Alliance vessels return to South Korea.
  2. General Esdeath responds to the Israeli message with the following. "We are well aware you are needed back in Israel, as I stated in our earlier meeting, which is why I instructed your fleet to head south along the coast. Human Alliance vessels were tasked with the collection and relocation of people in the cities of Weifang, Yantai, and Weihai. Please adjust your course accordingly. In regards to your request for assistance in Eastern Europe, it is highly unlikely at this time that we will be in a position to deploy our forces elsewhere. We expect the conflict in Asia to last a long time, and must focus all our attention here. Although we have no official ties, the Human Alliance recommends reaching out to the Holy Britannian Empire for assistance."
  3. With an agreement reached, Esdeath informs the people of Qingdao of the evacuation plan, with a small number of people opting to go with the Israelis. The Israeli forces are given a list of cities to evacuate - Qingdao, Rizhao, Lianyungang, and Yancheng. Esdeath's fleet would be tasked with gathering humans that wish to be relocated to South Korea, specifically in the cities of Weifang, Yantai, and Weihai, with the vessels accompanying the Israeli fleet collecting people from Yancheng, Lianyungang, Rizhao, and Qingdao on their return trip. With the evacuation plan in place, it would commence immediately.
  4. As the sound of explosions in the distance filled the air, the evacuees hurriedly made their way onto the docks in preparation for the ships' arrival. The first evacuations would take place at the docks in the city of Fuji. The areas surrounding the Mt. Fuji district were mountainous, and served as the perfect locations for the witches to set up mortars to fire upon the cities below. Luckily for the evacuees, it sounded as if they were only attacking from the eastern side of the district. The cities that spanned the eastern border of the district were the first to be fired upon. The priority of the mortar strikes was to weaken the Britannian fortifications along the border, and close off any escape routes they could take by targeting the buildings behind them. As the sun set and the visibility worsened, it became increasingly difficult to pinpoint the location of the mortars in the mountains. The hardest hit by these strikes would be Fujiyoshida, Gotemba, and Susono. The mountainous roads that led into these cities weren't suitable for tanks, so the goal of the witches was to do as much damage as possible before sending anyone in. Further south in the city of Numazu, the strikes were fewer and far between. Just across the border was the city of Mishima, which was already firmly in control of the witches. This was the only location along the entire eastern border of the district where tanks could easily cross, so any mortar strikes here would be done carefully to prevent the destruction of any precious routes. After a half hour of mortar strikes, darkness finally fell over the district. It was just then that the Britannian ships had begun docking, and soon, the witches would attempt to cross the border.
  5. "In that case, I suggest returning to Israel where you are most needed. If you wait too long, you will be trapped in the East China Sea, and likely destroyed. It is only a matter of time before armed conflict breaks out and you are caught in the middle. The Human Alliance will handle things here. We do have a task for your fleet, however." She pauses, looking at the map. "Once the witches gather their naval forces, they will likely close off the Taiwan Strait. I have been informed that the territories of Hong Kong and Macau have declared neutrality, so they should serve as a safe haven for those who wish to evacuate. We would like to request your aid in collecting evacuees along the coast of China and Taiwan, and delivering them safely to Hong Kong and Macau. The Jaegers and I must remain here to ensure order, but we will send a couple ships of our own to assist and spread the word. If you agree, the collection of evacuees in Qingdao will begin immediately, with the departure of the fleet occurring first thing in the morning."
  6. The Jaegers were standing guard inside and out of Esdeath's quarters. Upon the arrival of the Israeli Captain, they permitted him access. As he entered, Esdeath turned around, a slight smile on her face. "Welcome, Captain. Changed your mind so soon?"
  7. Will nodded, heading back to the group of people. He explained the situation calmly, yet loud and with authority. Upon hearing that they would be able to evacuate, the interspecies group breathed a sigh of relief. For the first time since the start of the conflict, they were able to smile. Willard led them across the border, walking for a good while until reaching the docks. Around the same time, the Britannian vessels began docking. Only moments later, a loud explosion was heard in the distance, along with some yelling. Will immediately turned around, glaring in the direction of the noise. "It would seem they're attacking earlier than expected. Everyone, board the ships as quickly and calmly as possible! I will protect you until everyone is aboard!"

  9. After the Israeli response was received, General Esdeath and the Jaegers boarded one of the the accompanying transport ships and departed for the docks. They stood out on deck, letting themselves be visible to the civilians along the coast. About ten minutes had passed before the ship finally docked. As they stepped off and onto shore, the humans who were on the verge of fighting with the Israelis moments prior turned their backs and hurriedly made their way toward the General's location. There wasn't one person who decided to remain with the Israeli evacuation team. Whether they were or weren't interested in evacuating was irrelevant. Everyone's interest was simply directed at the arrival of the General, and what she had to say. She waited until everyone had gathered around, holding up a megaphone to project her message loud and clear to everyone present. "People of Qingdao, and to the entire human population of Rokkenjima, hear me! I know that many of you are confused, frightened, and unsure of what the future will bring. Your government has turned their backs on you, and left you to die. I know many of you who are hearing this message are fighting for your lives at this very moment. Rest assured, you are not fighting in vein. As of today, the nation of Rokkenjima is no more! It is time we take matters into our own hands, and govern ourselves the way we wish to be governed. That is why I have come here today to announce the formation of the Human Alliance!" As she proclaimed this, the flags of the Rokkenjima Armed Forces aboard the vessels were lowered, and new flags raised to take their place. "To every human across the country, know that you will be welcomed with open arms. Our mainland will be the territory of South Korea. If you do not have the means to make it there on your own, know that we will do our best to ensure your safety until you can. To the humans of Qingdao, and other areas along the Chinese coast, these lands will be incorporated into Human Alliance territory. I want to stress that South Korea remains the stronghold of the Human Alliance, and thus it is uncertain how long we will be able to maintain authority over these areas. Which leads me to my next point - to everyone interested in relocating to South Korea, our navy can take everyone one of you." Esdeath glances at the Israeli vessels docked along the coast. "It would seem that the Kingdom of Israel has decided to take matters into their own hands and invade our territorial waters in the name of an evacuation attempt. I know many, if not all of you, are hesitant, to say the least, about going with them. As of this moment, I strongly advise against it. Escaping to Israel would only bring you closer to the front lines of a Communist uprising. The Human Alliance will not be attacking the Israeli forces here today, although I would like to once again insist on a meeting with their commander. We will be waiting." Upon the conclusion of her speech and cheering from the crowd, Esdeath and the Jaegers returned to their ship where they would await another Israeli response.
  10. Willard returned the handshake. "I wish our meeting could have been under better circumstances." He turned around, relaying the message to the group before turning back. "We don't have much time. Until the sun sets, if we're lucky. The witches are planning a full-on assault of the Mt. Fuji district, with the intent of subjugating it. Unfortunately, neither myself or the Britannian forces stationed here have the means to repel such an attack. If only all this didn't occur so suddenly, you may have had more time to get everyone out."
  11. With the arrival of the Israeli Flotilla in Qingdao, and the subsequent announcement of the collection of human refugees, a small fleet of Aura-class Cruisers, Corvettes, and Transport Ships that were originally destined for the southern coast of Japan changed course to the city. They had departed from the Port of Incheon hours earlier, and were led by General Esdeath herself. Upon their arrival, they formed a blockade around the Israeli vessels stationed along the coast. The fleet of Aura-class vessels still flew the flag of the Rokkenjima Armed Forces, for now. Although it was one of the less violent cities to be hit by the protests, the tension among the citizens of Qingdao was still high. Sure, there were groups of people who wished to remain neutral in the conflict, but they were a large minority. Most humans who resided in Qingdao didn't wish to flee, instead focused on fighting for their rights and freedoms at home. They didn't take too kindly to a foreign military presence invading what they saw as their land. Although unarmed, the large groups of humans along the coast weren't afraid to fight back against the Israeli Marines. In fact, if it wasn't for the arrival of the Aura-class fleet at that moment, a fight would have most likely broken out between the two forces. No one yet knew what to make of the Rokkenjiman vessels. Were they there to repel the Israeli force? What species were they affiliated with? They anxiously awaited answers to their questions as the fleet sent a message to Israeli command. "This is General Esdeath of the Rokkenjiman Navy. Your vessels are trespassing in our territorial waters. This fleet is here to gather the humans residing in Qingdao and other cities for the purpose of relocation to Human Alliance territory. We request that you cease your current activities in the region and meet us on shore for further discussion on the matter."
  12. The man stepped forward cautiously, keeping an eye on the group behind him as he approached. He soon crossed the border and introduced himself to the members of the Britannian border patrol. "My name is Willard H. Wright, first-class archbishop and Chief Inquisitor of the SSVD, the 8th District Repentance Enforcement Agency of the Great Court of Heaven. In layman's terms, I am an angel. I've been sent by my superiors to ensure the safety of Rokkenjima's evacuees, and to oversee the neutral territories of Hong Kong and Macau. If Britannia is evacuating its civilians as well, these territories would be the safest places for the time being."
  13. Current map as of 5/14/2020 @Corpsman I added four random provinces. As a suggestion, you could reroll and claim all those provinces from the start.
  14. The man stopped for a moment, raising up a white flag. He shouted back to the guards. "We are not hostiles! This group behind me wishes to flee the chaos. They are under my protection until everyone has been successfully evacuated. A safe location has already been decided upon, but we must request Britannia's assistance! I've also come to deliver some intelligence regarding the witches!"
  15. Are you only crossing out the northern island, or all of New Zealand?
  16. https://forum.politicsandwar.com/index.php?/forum/52-game-suggestions/ It should be posted in there. I agree though. Personally, I'd like the map selection to have real-life borders included so you're not just wildly guessing.
  17. I cut down the number of provinces to fit the limit of 100. Please specify which four provinces you want to expand into first so I can add them. Also, to further clarify my statement regarding the military post: It is required for new nations to make a post with their military units listed out, with specific numbers of each unit and the prices of those units. You can find the cost of military units in this post. Here is my post as an example. It would be helpful if @Lelouch Vi Britannia could specify whether new nations start with $50 billion, or if they start with whatever the budget currently is for the first players. My guess is that new nations start with a $50 billion budget.
  18. Dusk had arrived before long. At this point, the interspecies forces that made up the seemingly former Rokkenjima Armed Forces were still hours away. Although Rokkenjima was populated by various species, Japan had always had a majority witch population. The Witch Council was all too aware of this fact. Indeed, it was a large factor in their decision to bolster the number of witches in the Rokkenjima Armed Forces in the weeks leading up to this nationwide revolt. The Witch Council, additionally, was aware of the legitimate threat that the de facto leaders of each species could pose. Both Commander Satan - former leader of Ente Isla's Demon Army, and General Esdeath - leader of the Jaegers, had prior experience with leading their own armies. In fact, the Rokkenjima Armed Forces had been meticulously designed to act as the leaders of Rokkenjima should the government be unable or unwilling to rule. The Council knew the exact locations of these two, as well as other popular individuals within each species. Commander Satan and his Generals Alciel and Lucifer were stationed in the former country of North Korea. General Esdeath, the Jaegers, and Night Raid were stationed in South Korea. The vampires, although their leader was less certain, mainly reside in Manchuria. It was for these reasons that the Witch Council knew they could secure Japan with relative ease. Between the time it would take to arrive in Japan, and the likely hostilities that would occur between each species, Japan already belonged to the witches. Perhaps this was the reason why the number of witches taking part in the ensuing chaos was almost none. They knew the other sides would either destroy each other, or completely exhaust themselves waiting for their respective military forces which would never come. Instead, the witches would focus their energy on an entirely separate entity - the Britannian colony within Japan itself. Many hours had passed with no response to Britannia's repeated attempts to contact the Witch Council. Finally, however, someone responded. It was a message intended directly for the Britannian Emperor himself. "Greetings, Emperor Lelouch. I am sure you are fully aware of who this is. That is right, the Golden and Endless Witch Beatrice. It is with great regret that I inform you we will have to wait a while longer before our respective countries can work together as promised. I am certain you understand. In the meantime, however, I would like to apologize for what is about to happen next." With that, the message abruptly ended. The amount of dread was palpable in the Mt. Fuji district as the sun began to set. Most could probably assume that if an attack was coming, it would likely occur after dark. This thought, however, was suddenly interrupted by the sight of a lone man leading a reasonably large group of people behind him. Approaching the border to the district, the man waved his arms and shouted in an attempt to get the attention of the Britannian border patrol. "Heeeeey!"
  19. Immediately following the Rokkenjima News Report, the angry protesters of various species began to turn violent. The impact of the now violent protests was felt the hardest in Rokkenjima's major cites - Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul, Pyongyang, Beijing, and Shanghai. There was property damage, of course. Shattered windows, broken-in doors, and even some flipped cars here and there lined the streets. Soon after, however, it began to dawn on people the magnitude of the situation they were now in. There were now large groups of people throughout the country acting out in spite of their government. For the first time, Rokkenjima was in conflict with itself. The people realized that between the widespread protests, and Rokkenjima's interspecies military, that this could be their one and only opportunity to seize power for themselves. Upon this realization, all hell broke loose. It isn't known what side attacked first, but in an instant, the first blood of the conflict had been shed as Rokkenjima's various species turned on each other. Although most of their anger was directed at the witches near the beginning, especially after the Witch Council had enlisted nearly 28,000 more witches into the military, it was now a free-for-all. Without any weapons or military intervention, humans had the greatest disadvantage. They were easy targets for any vampires, demons, and witches they came across. Many people began to take shelter anywhere they could manage. This usually meant taking over any building that was close to them, and fighting inside until the dominant species remained. No one was spared, even innocent civilians who hadn't participated in the protests. The bloody fighting would continue nonstop well into the afternoon. Despite the large number of deaths throughout the nation, none of the sides could manage to gain much territory for themselves. The most they could do without any weapons or military assistance was capture small buildings. Any large buildings experienced floor-to-floor fighting, where different species controlling multiple floors was common. The Witch Council looked down on the ensuing chaos from atop an undisclosed building in Tokyo. They exchanged some glances, but no words, as if they were completely aware of this outcome beforehand. They had ceased communication with the Rokkenjima Armed Forces, with the exception of the witch division, leaving everyone else completely in the dark. Members of the military stationed across the nation witnessed the chaos as it aired on RNN. With no new orders coming in from the Witch Council, they realized they were on their own. They were now free to make any decision they saw fit, and soon, they would.
