  5. We, The United States is the most aggressive, dangerous nation on earth, and we have so many nukes we could cleanse the planet of all life 3 times over. With our history of Aggression, why do we have any right dictating the policies of Iran or any other nation for that matter. whether we like them or not, the current Iranian government has never declared an offensive war outside their own borders over the entirety of their existence.
  6. the numbers speak in Fox-Fire's favor here. also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_casualties_of_war if that is accurate that puts Palestinian casualties since 1920 somewhere around 100,000 or so. the syrian totals are def. not accurate. both sides have been caught bumping the numbers some to make themselves look like victims of the opposing side. I suspect the syrian totals are less than is being reported. that would make the Israeli/Palestinian war a much deadlier and much more protracted war. a war which I personally see no end too. bear in mind there was more deaths in 2 months of the Israeli/Palestinian war than there was in the first year of the syrian civil war. the reason my palestinian casualties seem high is I made an estimate to include palestinians killed outside of war, my estimate might actually be quite low. I was just playing it safe. I wouldn't be surprised if the overall Palestinian death toll given the sheer length and nature of the conflict is as high as 1 million.
  7. Finally someone gets it, Thank you. Israel was born 65 years ago, them wars done happened, we can't undo that. what we can do is move on from this point in time and try our best to clean up the mess. yes there was a genocide. it happened, it's sad but it's done and overwith. we can't even fix stuff that happened yesterday. but we can work with our leaders and representatives on a lasting solution in the future. we have Israel, we have Palestine and neither is gonna stop existing to appease the other as much as we don't like either. the best strategy is work towards peaceful coexistence whatever that might be.
  8. The bible man, Israel is the land of the Bible. I know as an Atheist you inherently hate religion (why you're espousing Islam in this case is beyond me) and it's conquest and dominion, ofcourse there was a genocide, it's how the game is played, put quite simply, to the victor goes the spoils. Israel won plain and simple. when the Anglo-Saxons invaded England there was a genocide there too. my own Ancestors that lived in North America for 60,000 years fell victim to a genocide. the British did a genocide in France, the Romans did a genocide in Carthage. it's how the game is played. part of colonization is removing the indeginous population, or in the case of Israel, a nation resurrecting has to exterminate the local resistence. like I said it's how conquests happen. it's !@#$ sick but that's how history has always been in wars. oh and BTW Belasaurius saying Genocide happens as a consequence of conquest wars, that isn't condoning genocide. genocides are terrible attrocities and should never be undertaken by any nation. I'm also saying look at what we had to do to Germany to stop a genocide. just sayin.
  9. How the Grinch stole Christmas. Also Khestra even liking Dr Seus has me surprised I didn't think Khestra liked non anime things
  10. whoa there bro. before Rome, it's Israel/Judah, Rome falls apart Palestine is handed to Byzantium, ottomans smack Byzantine empire around some, Palestine is handed to the ottoman empire, Allenby defeats sanders in the battle of megiddo, Palestine is conquered by Great Brittain, after ww2 England, well the UN too splits the mandate into 2 nations, Israel and Palestine, BOTH times it was free of occupation is was Israel. there was never a sovereign nation named Palestine. Palestine was always somebody's state. Palestine has only been a nation since 1947. Israel has existed off and on for 4,000 years. (I support israel btw) and yes I'm Christian so I feel it my duty to support israel. Before and during world war 2, Palestine was under British colonial rule. therefore anything during world war 2 on back to 1917 is the fault of England, not Israel. atleast put blame where it's due.
  11. If it wasn't for the Holy Roman Empire and the crusades, Europe would've fallen eventually, the entire world minus maybe China and India would be a "Predominantly Muslim area" so that says little. also where do you think the Torah and Bible were written? Ummm let's see, it was written in a country called ISRAEL and one called JUDAH 2,000 years ago. before that it was called canaan. AFTER pompeii conquered it it was called Palestine. the authors of the bible were Jews, JESUS was a Jew, before Islam existed the entire arab peninsula was either Arab pagan, Jewish or Christian. now tell me again? who was there first? the Jewish tribes? or the Philistine invaders? Also in both wars this century the arabs were the agressors. they got sat on their asses by the vastly superior Israeli army (Which used old soviet tanks btw) and the Israeli airforce (Which used surplus Czechoslovakian Mig-17s and French Mirage 2000s) the first US aircrafts sent to Israel were F-4s and F-15s in the 1970s. even today the primary Israeli main battle tank is the Merkava, an indigenous design. we don't help them much in hardware, just ammunition and money mainly. as much as it bites your ass, it was Israel before it was Palestine. what happened in 1947 was the restoration of Israel.
  12. We were created by ethnic cleansing and imperialism, or I suppose 40 million native Americans killed doesn't count? England's empire caused Ethnic cleansing of natives. that happens. it's one of the nasty side effects of conquest and dominion. AND if you actually READ history, the Palestinians and other arab nations struck first and tried to extinguish Israel, the only reason you're !@#$ing is Israel kicked ass. they won both genocidal wars launched by the arabs and earned their right to exist. No Belisaurius, this isn't because of race, it isn't because they're "America's !@#$ ". it's over religion, if Israel was a muslim country the other arabs and even the palestinians wouldn't give 2 shits that israel existed. US ally or not. the Arabs want the middle east to be Muslim only. Look what ISIS is doing, aside from the kurds the other muslims in the middle east view them as heros. because they're muslim.
  13. Big Brother listens to awesome music?? I had Big Brother pegged for the type that listens to orchestra shit
  14. I give this treaty a week, maybe 2 lol o/ TEK I never thought it would ever happen, for once I agree with Tenages
  15. Blackmailing people into vaccination isn't how you do it either. Now there can be a variety of reasons children cannot be vaccinated and not all of them involve crackpot theories. maybe the kid has some disease and the doctor deems them unfit for vaccination, like an immune deficiency disorder, in which case that vaccine could kill them. or the kid is allergic to vaccine serum (I have personal experience with that) or the parents are naturalists that simply don't want their kids pumped full of synthetic chemicals. some vaccine makers use animal cells as the carrier agent for instance, it is possible to reject the vaccine like you would an organ. what it comes down too is we need to make safer vaccines, if you've read the ingredient lists in many common vaccines, you wouldn't want to inject them into yourself much less your children. I feel there should be a penalty, yes, but not as severe as Mr Sindorin here suggests. Remember Vaccines are pharmaceutical drugs, they carry the same risks as a drug. I'm more in favor of using the types of blanket vaccines they use in the military, 1 vaccination for several different diseases, that lowers the risk and amount of chemical exposure to our children.
  16. I was talking about the Borg assimilation process in Star trek which involved a nano probe vaccine. but yeah I'm vaccinated myself. had all the shots even pneumonia, that's how I found out I was allergic to some vaccines. that allergy is why I can't get flu shots anymore.
  17. Really? Sherman vs King Tiger or even a Tiger point blank, my money is on the Tiger. The problem is the allies tended to !@#$ foot it on the guns and armor. the sherman had a 75 mm standard velocity gun vs the 88mm high velocity guns the germans used. the German tanks were basically armored shit house mobile battleship guns.
  18. It's not an argument to win really, it's a way to kill time on a quiet, boring monday afternoon I guess your choice of weapons is a matter of personal opinion.
  19. AK's are notorious for stovepipe jams, you'd be lucky to get a clip off and you're toast. the North Hollywood gunfight is a fine example of how reliable the AK is, 2 perps, 2 different AK's both jam at the same time. that type of jam is a !@#$ to clear. the fault is how the weapon ejects the shell casings. Overheating is another problem AK's are known for. personally if I was in a firefight I'd rather have an AR-15/M-16 or a Galil.
  20. well that'd be true if all Westboro did WAS protest, in fact they don't JUST protest. they employ a whole variety of shock tactics.
  21. I'm starting to like what Khestra's playing here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAXTkQZpJ9M
  22. They pay you good, what they don't do is give you any benefits AFTER the war. they'll slap you either with a dishonorable or medical to disqualify you from any VA benefits...
  23. I'm talking about the overall ability of the sherman to take a beating. german tanks could take so much more damage and keep in the fight, a good round to the ass was pretty much the end of a sherman. well for taht matter a good hit to either side or the turret would put an end to em too. the problem was their notorious thin skin vs the German tanks. What US tanks relied on was the concept of 5+ Shermans vs 1 King Tiger. you don't need to be well built if you hunt in packs. The Abrams and Challenger tanks use the same philosophy, unlike say, the Merkava which is designed to fight alone or in small groups. Sure the T-90 might outclass the Sherman, but how well does 1 T-90 do vs 10 Abrams or challengers?
